Guys a master worker. His inflections are so consistent he never puts on the wrestler voice so it’s hard to distinguish between work and shoot
It’s kinda like Eddie Kingston and Paul Heyman. They play it so normal that it sounds natural so you never know just when they’re working or shooting.

I got this kinda feeling when I was a kid. When I started watching wrestling around like WM 22/23, I didn't know about Christian in WWE. I only knew about Christian Cage in TNA and when he came back to WWE in like 2008/09, I was like this doesn't even feel like the same guy in TNA.

AEW was so much needed in the wrestling business. Thank God for that promotion.
I don't care what anyone says about age or whatever. Christian Cage is still one of the very best in the world today and he must get a run at the very top in AEW! He's a true master of the game. His demeanor, his cadence in a promo and the way he controls the crowd, how he makes everything in a match mean something and how unbelievably professional he is to put so much effort into what he does despite already being one of wrestling's legends! He deserves much more credit than what he gets and I truly hope to see him have an iconic AEW World Championship run!

I will never forgive Vince McMahon for the fact that this man never won the WWE Championship. He never won a Royal Rumble, King of the Ring or even a Money in the Bank despite being in many of those matches where he obviously was the one holding the match together. Christian deserved a huge push before TNA but Vince pushed him so low down the card that he had to leave. He then proved himself with an iconic TNA run yet when he returned Vince locked him up in ECW where he still managed to almost singlehandedly make that show worth watching.
One of the most underrated wrestlers ever and one of the best wrestlers ever! The fact that he's still one of the very best in the world both in the ring and on the mic tells you all you need to know about this legend. I really hope he gets a run at the very top in AEW. He deserves to be remembered in the best way possible for all that he gave to wrestling and how he always made sure to make other wrestlers look better than ever throughout his career. Christian Cage deserves for his name to forever be cemented on the list of AEW World Champions!
Great post. From the time they split up, I considered Christian to be the better worker, the better wrestler. I found him to be much more entertaining than Edge and to be more polished than Edge. I never really cared for Edge one way or another, but I loved Christian, and it really pissed me off when the WWE put Christian in these stupid fucking angles where he played a "wimp" character, I couldn't stand it, it was one of the reason I completely stopped watching WWE in the mid 2000s.
Vince legitimately hated Christian, said he had a weasley rat face.
From the second in TNA when he opened his mouth and said, "The INSTANT CLASSIC CHRISTIAN CAGE" it was obvious he was a different animal than WWE ever let him be.
Christian did win the WWE championship in 2018 then the took it away as fast as he got it. Like a disrespect. Go look it up.

I was always a big fan of the wrestlers people didn't really understand that we're good like when I was a kid I was a big Christian fan people always used to say that he's not as good as edge however I disagree I think Christians should have been the biggest star in the business

If he couldn’t win the WWE title by defeating Cena at Summerslam or a Unforgiven then he should have won the money in the bank at Wrestlemania 22. RVD still could have challenged Cena at one night stand and Christian could cash in mid match and steal the title

He’s not wrong. Christian Cage became a world champion when he got to TNA and when he showed up to AEW he won the TNA title and unified it with another title. Christian Cage is a beast. Christian is a great wrestler and sports entertainment.

Other federations don't hold a🕯

I don't like this idea... because when Christian Cage showed up in AEW he's immediately over with the AEW fans BECAUSE of his past as Christian in WWE. There are differences between the two sure but to act like they're different entirelt doesn't make sense.
The only thing superior about Christian is his theme music. Just close your eyes by Story Of The Year will forever be one of the best theme songs ever. Not that much a fan of the original Waterproof Blonde version

I have no doubt that he has a lot of creative freedom but he's not telling the truth about politics. Backstage politics are extremely important at AEW. If you are not friends with the right people at AEW you are demoted to RoH or stuck permanently in catering.
