    Dude. Palmer. So good and very thoughtful. If you're ever passing through Salt Lake come hang at the shop.

    I actually just received my springbar classic jack 100 and I’m excited to get it out and go camping. I looked at a lot of tents and I never heard of springbar until a couple months ago and watched a lot of reviews on them and everyone loved them. I never heard one bad review about them so I bought it. Customer service told me you don’t have to seal them that a light rain or a morning dew will do the same thing.

      I'm glad to hear it! I never had to seal mine but I also used the stormfly. Hopefully you love it and it treats you well!

      @@palmerbowles1631 yeah I also bought me a stormfly for mine also. I’m sure I will love it.

    I had a Traveler (USA made) and now have the Classic Jack 140 (import) and there isn’t much difference that I can tell in quality. You get different stakes, guy ropes and carry bags with the USA models. If the quality is different, it’s not very noticeable.

      That's interesting to hear. I guess I just assumed the higher price would warrant a higher-quality product. I'm sure a lot of the premium price is related to a higher labor cost as well.

    Get a $50 impact driver from Harbor Freight and 8" lag screws and staking down the tent is a breeze. Works great in AZ and NM.

      That would definitely speed up the process haha. Good idea!!

    Especially with that rain fly it should keep things dry. I see that there are ways to “season” the tent for waterproofness when new.

      Oh yes, if it ever starts leaking I’ll have to try one of those waterproofing methods. So far so good!

    Is there room for 2 or 3 and a wood stove?

    • @palmerbowles1631
      @palmerbowles1631  Год назад

      There might be… definitely room for the people. I think they say it can fit 10 people if your really pack in there. It does not have a stove adapter unlike the other styles but I don’t see why you couldn’t fit one in there

      Just get the Jack 140 it will give you 4 feet to add the stove, and has built in hot tent equipment.
