Those DTs did so much work. After Spirit sacrificed so many of his SCVs, attacking the orbitals and drawing out scans did so much economic damage. Spirit was broke for so long, he couldn’t even fully repair his BCs
I first played Starcraft 9 years ago and I never knew SCV stood for space construction vehicle until this video.

you can read it on the sc1 manual, is easy not to know it, i'm not sure if that info apear in any other place except for wikis XD

4:50 That’s not true. The center of the circle on recall is the nexus, so you can move the circle to control where the units will go. In other words, if you click so the units are on the left of the circle they will pop on the left side of the nexus.

He's already nuked the gold mineral line twice, most players would send units to that location expecting him to nuke it a third time. I like it.
Actually, you can control position of the units in recall. They appear corresponding to their initial position in recall area. If you see mines in the left side, you can click recall so stalkers are in the right side, they will appear on the right

Here's an idea, you could show the amount of minerals mined in the early game when theres a lot of mining disruption to show how much of an impact it can have on an opener.
"Sky toss is much more efficient" - 5 void rays immediately get vaporized by Yamato Cannons XD

"tempest dps is high but not that high" - tempest dps is actually less than that of a stimmed marine. Even against massive its about half a carrier's dps
Yeah, tempest have 16.5 DPS(air) with the 3 attack upgrade. Stimmed marine have 21.9 DPS with 3 attack. Though tempest have +11.8 DPS against massive units (total 28.3). So it's 1.3 marines against those.
For comparison a stalker have 17.9 DPS against armored. So a tempest is worth approximatively 1.5 stalkers of DPS against armored massive units.
Corruptor have 19.1 DPS against massive.
Vikings have 23.7 against armored.
That is, obviously, before armor is taken in account. Marines suffer a lot more from armor. They lose 2/3 of their damages against BCs when tempest lose barely anything (9%). But overall, as anti air, tempests have a really terrible damage output.
Yeah. They do have a good alpha strike, but the dps is very low.
@lowkotv you can control where you end up when you recall BTW. It's based on the position of where you recall
Lowko! Just a heads up, you can control where units get recalled. The dot in the center represents the Nexus and the units will be placed in a circle around the Nexus based on their positions in the AoE. So if you wanted to recall a couple voidrays on the left of your nexus you would just have to make sure they are on the left side of the AoE
Speaking of Terrans having no melee unit. I am very dissapointed that blizzard never added the Predator doggos to co-op. Not even enemy AI uses it

great game, i really dont understand why terrans hate the raven in the lategame soooo much.... would have been great for most games in the last weeks!

I hate this early armoury shenanigans from terran, so frustrating! Also with recall I heard recently (I actually thought it was here but maybe it was from PiG) that you can control where you recall to, if your units are to the right of the recall circle, they come out on the right side of the nexus

Very nice game! And I agree, once in a while is great, but slow games are not ideal if they become the norm.
The BCs made great hit-and-run units, but I feel like Spirit spent most of that game with no win condition and no answer to Astrea's units, especially the DTs.
It's amazing how accurate Lowko is at his intro, half the time I think, wait have I seen this video before?? Just perfect matching of pitch along the way and pretending W doesn't exist
8:10 Hellbats? After hellions transform, their attack is.... pretty short-range. Does that count as melee?
Hey Lowko! Great channel! I watched the grand finals yesterday. Thanks so much, you did a great job casting it. To me though I have always thought Zerg is a super strong race but ZvZ is, unfortunately, the most boring matchup. How do you feel as a caster?
I am curious if someone would do all marauders and 1 ghost and nuke the main base. The marauders would tank all dmg while the nuke comes down

Sky Terran functions far more effectively with supprt from units such as Vikings and Ravens. You can't brute your way through a Protoss army.

As a SC noob, i wonder why don't these pros build photon cannon in each mineral line as soon as they find out their enemy goes for widow mine drop? I know that every single mineral counts, but it still must be better to spend 150 on cannon than on new probes and lost mining time... right?

Maan. I prefer Protoss, can't get more badass than a maxed out Zealot but everytime I see a marine get melted, a little piece of me dies inside🤕. Shout out to HeroMarine for holding it down for all the marines out there

Why didn’t toss just build one cannon in each mineral line for detection and defense ? Would’ve been way cheaper than losing 50 probes…
i used to play starcraft 2 a lot and loved it, but for some reason now if i play it makes me feel depressed, so i play down of war 2
The Terran did all that damage and never once got ahead in workers toss need nerfs. The carrier needs interceptor count reduced by 2
