- This years ADGQ Featured a couple of amazing Tetris players, I've never seen anything close to these guys. Fortunately I was able to capture a little bit of the stream so I could show you guys exactly how Tetris should be played.
KevinDDR in this video is so far the only none Japanese fellow to have a chance at the GM Rank on TGM3, and we can see fromt his that he is so capable of it.
This video was recorded from a live stream Awesome Games Done Quick. It's not my original content, but I wanted to share with you just what a true Tetris Master looks like. If I wasn't supposed to upload this footage then place, let me know and I'll remove it ASAP! Thanks :)

yes! the fact this was pulled off at a live event is wild, i still come back to this video after all these years
I just wanna take an extra moment to talk about that music and sound design, though. It's so well-designed and thought-out, every moment of it is designed to keep your heart racing. It worked on me and I'm here watching it 2 years later. The silence at the end of TAP is intense, and Shirase does that after every level.

What blows my mind is that if you look at some of his past scores (@ 8:40) you can see that this run wasn’t even his fastest time. He’d done a run before then that was *twenty seconds faster.* I’m convinced that his brain is running the latest Intel Core i9 CPU.

That GM run was amazing on stream. So glad he finally got it.
having actually started with TGM and starting to get used to 20G (instant gravity) I have a newfound respect for this. knowing the mechanics of the game and how unforgiving the rotation rules are, this doesn't even seem theoretically possible.
+eNSWE I'm very impressed with you still even at your level! These guys think it's all just practice so... Ya never know, you might make it there sooner than you think ;) KevinDDR has been playing over 10 years now i believe so...
(new account) well at this point I'm a GM player in TGM1 (with a sub12 time) and S5 TAP player. starting to get comfortable with 300+ death speeds too, so yeah, practice does pay off ;)
The rotation rules in TGM3 are far more forgiving, mainly floor kicks with the I-piece. But this is still godlike.

Miso San action rpgs require different brain areas than tetris. i would say being a proffesional action rpg player is as difficult as proffesional tetris, but if we talk pure hand-eye coordination and thought, this wins yes :)

Holy hell, i know how he does it, and it's just so hard to do, this would take me possibly years to do, but i must find this game and find out for myself.

+MikeyTaylorGaming oh wow you replied, I really wanna say thank you for showing glitches for some of the games I really love ^.^ Idk how true this is, but my father says that in the original arcade of the Duck Hunt game you could actually shoot the dog, but then the game warden shows up. I may have to emulate to find out since it was an arcade games and not a cartridge, I really hope this is true.
+MikeyTaylorGaming idk if the Duck Hunt you did was an arcade version or not. buy if you did the NES version then I would love your help checking on this, since everyone reeeeealy wanted that dog dead and never thought it was possible, if it is true, maybe they took it out because everyone would keep getting upset at the laughing dog and shoot it, and then the game warden shows up and makes a game over. if you can find out if this is true or not, and you see the game warden, my father also said that you have a split second to shoot him to prevent the game over, dunno what happens next after that unfortunately...I wasn't around when it came out for the arcade.
Randall Mollett This was done on the NES version of Duck Hunt hahaha Are there no videos showcasing the Warden and such on RUclips? I'm afraid I don't really have time to get into that! :(
+MikeyTaylorGaming hey it's no big deal, I can tell you put a lot of time in your videos, I wish I knew how to use Vegas like you do XD but I can tell that it's quite time consuming, and I hope one day I can make great videos like you do. I know it's hard to find glitches out there when there's quite a bit of fake ones, even so with hidden content as well. I'm pretty sure you knew about the metal mode you can do in sonic heroes multiplayer mode, where you hold certain buttons before the match starts and your team is metal covered. Someone made a fake rumor that if both teams are metal and you win over 100 matches in a row that team metal sonic would appear. me and my friend tested that theory out and it turned out to be a lie, which was very disappointing since it supposedly had metal sonic, eggman and chaos as a team, with their own story line, But since I completely beat that game 100% ik this isn't true. I hope that one day I can help you find some glitches in thanks for showing me glitches I may have never found on my own on a good bit of my favorite games :)

Those glasses are required to protect you from being that close to Kevin while he's playing. When he yells at the game you can see the table trying to bend itself into the right shape to stave off his wrath.
