@@BicycleCurious I'm waiting for my PCS (Post concussion syndrome) to go away before I do any riding. Im thinking of doing a video about it and the awareness of it.
Cheers man, my goal for the day was to stay rubber side down and I achieved that with no issues! Next race I'll be making sure to give it a bit more gas.
Well done Aidan, glad the knee held up well. Dude you were hooking it down those trails! It’s hard enough staying upright, add timed laps into it and it a no from me! Great vid, stoked to see you back on the bike👌🏼
HAHA It's actually a really chilled event. I've raced a few downhill races back in the day and you do feel all the eyes watching you at the start. This one is all about racing the way YOU want to. Everyone is to busy having a chat to notice your runs anyway! Feel good to be back man.
That would be the Osprey Savu 5, a VERY durable and comfortable pack for the cooler months and short rides. Combo it with a bottle cage and you can easily bring 2L with you on your ride. Enough room for phone, snacks, batteries, wallet, multitool and keys as well!
At least we had the photographers out there on the day for a sneaky pic or two. Well done on your results Johnny, you're pretty quick so I was confident you could keep up with the elite dudes.
@@BicycleCurious thank you mate, I train pretty full on, really love the support man means a lot! next year I’d like to take it to the next level hopefully 👀 wanting to do the north super flow rounds (cairns/Townsville ect) also, Man how good are the photos these guys get !
You should! There's some absolutely awesome riding up north, particularly in Cairns if you know where to look. Think they run them around winter so temps should be manageable as well.
@@BicycleCurious deffs man! I’m keen hey, I got a fair few mates in Townsville and cairns that have moved from bmx over to MTB so I’ll have some great local knowledge as well, you hoping to do much travel next year ? Covid dependence ofcorse 😂
Local knowledge is absolutely key for the best experience up north. I want to visit a LOT of trails around the country but the borders and wallet are keeping me in check. :P
Awesome video mate! This has got me super hyped for this Saturday! I'll see you out on the trails!!!
Thank you for the shout out and keep sending it !!
No worries dude, I'll catch you out on the trails!
@@BicycleCurious are you riding at Caste Hill
@@connor_Ditchburn36 Sure am, I'll see you Saturday if you are!
@@BicycleCurious I'm racing on sunday :(
At least it won't be scorching hot on the Sunday, good luck for the weekend dude!
Sweet vid Aidan and glad to see the knee held up for the event.. 😁😁
Thanks mate, hopefully it continues to hold up for a few more events this year.

Nice work mate, good to see your knee is all good!
Cheers Lachlan, it's amazing what some physio and medical advice can do!
Yeah great vibe on the day. Good to go racing with you once again. Glad the knee held up too 🤘
The best vibes, I'm certainly looking forward to Castle Hill. Next step is to beat your times. :P
Best brisy mtb y-t-er out there
Great race Aiden, bloody good job and nicely ridden mate. Keep up the good work and have fun. Ride on

Awesome mate, so good being able to race. Great to see you enjoyed your first one.
Certainly not taking it for granted (at least while the temps are good)!
thank you for the shouts man!

Good to see your knee healed up well bro
I got pretty lucky but certainly not taking anything for granted now. How's the shoulder after your spill at Boomers?
@@BicycleCurious Its fine now, we went to NV yesterday
That was really quick! Must be something in the water up at the Sunny Coast.
That’s a real good effort after your recent struggles
I would agree with you there Jacob, certainly feels like we got the green light after that round of racing.
Nice Vid Love your content. 👍
Cheers Sam, even more content just around the corner for you!
Well done aiden, nice to see the dodgy knee held up
The dodgy knee is now the not so dodgy knee! Good to be back at it again and thanks for tuning in again Kevin.
Nice mate! Quick Q: That waistpack looks great! What is it? Been looking for a comfy two bottle pack that can hold my junk as well. Cheers!
