    Mare of Easttown is a fantastic series. So well written, produced and directed.
    I did not see that ending coming! 😳
    I’m usually able to predict endings but I actually gasped when Mare figured it out. 😲 All of the actors, as well as the writer, producers, & director deserve to win Emmy awards!! 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾🏆

    As a resident Philadelphian. This is 90% accurate. Conshohocken is just the next town over from me toward Philly (I'm in Norristown) I've yet to meet an outsider who can pronounce that and the other towns correctly XD

      ppl like to pick on others about accents, but elitism doesn't erase the beauty and connective power of a regional accent. when i hear ppl who sound like they're from my hometown, i instantly feel a sense of recognition, even if we've never met. i went to college near philadelphia, so delco accents remind me of that time and sound beautiful to my ears.

      A block of homes in Wissinoming, Philly partially collapsed into the crick running under the whole street. I’m in S. Jersey now & get a pool in my basement when it rains. My friend’s mom in Wilmington has the same problem. Building on crick was a bad idea that every developer in the Delaware Valley had going back probably before we created the USA.

    "I'm Philly Forty" LMAO. First, I LOVE Mare of Easttown. Second, I'm Philly area born and raised and I live on the border of DelCo so this is spot on. I love the shout outs to Downingtown, Royersford, Conshohocken and Hockessin (which is actually in Delaware, where Biden is from..lol). This is brilliant. Nicely done, Kate McKinnon and SNL

      Yes, Hockessin is in Delaware (near PA, but not PA). And Joe is from Scranton, which is not Philly.

    lmaooo. If you've seen "mare of easttown" on HBO Max, you'll know how good of a parody this is. Also, before i saw this parody, when i was watching Mare of Easttown and heard Kenny McNemanin talk, first thing im thinking is "Beck Bennet could play this guy."

      They filmed part of it across the street from me. This had to be Jan 2020. I had no idea what was being filmed. It was at night and cold. I asked the guard watching the actor trailers. He said, " The girl from Titanic is in it and it is a show for HBO." I might have to subscribe just for this show.
