You know what I JUST noticed? The number of delegates in each group is the same as the number of championships the team had won leading up to Super Bowl 52: New England had five and Philadelphia had three. This sketch had the attention to detail down!

When they break character is ALWAYS the best part.
You must be a HUGE Jimmy Fallon fan. It's easy to break character and steal laughs from the sketch. It may seem silly and fun, but someone writes these sketches and expects laughs from the jokes that they created. Not from a cast member being unprofessional.

B. Jr. Most New Englanders, like myself, look at Connecticut as an outsider. They're a "New York Suburb" with as you even said filled with Giants fans, so the joke is them saying, me too, because we see them as outsiders.
