Her short response and her PS made me burst out laughing just as I was taking a gulp of Coke.. Needless to say, my TV was a mess.. but the laughter was so wonderful!

Tried slowing down the video speed -- didn't help. "... French bitch you're jammed in?" What else would sound like "gender"? I hope someone can answer that. I get the gist of it, that she's accusing him of cheating, but can't decipher that last word to save my life.

Spookydeathasian it was kind of distracting. The lyrics in that song are very serious and it seems like a random match
The tune wasn't chosen at random. During WWI, British Tommies serving in the trenches changed the lyrics to something more appropriate, which started "When this bloody war is over".
I love how Mikey starts yelling as he's writing back to her. Classic reaction
I thought the skit with Claire Foy was lightning in a bottle and I was nervous when I saw the title that they’d ruin it, but I’m so glad to see they nailed it again 😂😂😂

I have watched this SO MANY TIMES, and it makes me laugh EVERY FREAKING TIME. It's SO GOOD. Mikey Day is the best at these types of roles. Also Phoebe Waller-Bridge is hilarious at Lydia. These sketches of the husband and wife writing one another, while husband at war, are some of my all time favorites. As I said before it's genius writing. So is the acting.
The UK hosts continue to blow me away. This was a great sequel to the original "War in Words" with Claire Foy.
Original was done with Maya Rudolph on Maya & Marty... Probably the funniest version of this sketch imo

I think Phoebe Waller B ridge had one of the all -time great episodes as host. Sketch after sketch was top rate. Especially Love Island. Brilliant stuff.

This is probably my favorite SNL sketch of all time. Super simple premise, brilliantly written, hilariously acted. I almost never laugh out loud watching sketches by myself, I was dying laughing at every Mikey Day reaction.
This one had me almost in tears. I love Phoebe so much.
