Love crawfish, shrimp and crab boils! I’m from West Virginia and live here now. I own two boil pots now! It’s such an awesome family event and a favorite for sure!
Louisiana has the best people, food, & fun anyone can experience! Thank you Joel for another wonderful video, it reminds me of years ago with my precious relatives down there!!

:)
Joel is always so positive, not just about the food. It’s always nice to have positive thoughts going forward through the day. Thank you Joel for experiencing the world for those of us who cannot.
A crawfish boil done well is incredible. I was amazed at the sheer volume of crawfish needed for each person. I was a novice when first had one. And never had my hands got so needing of a wash after. Delicious and a real family/social meal. Well done on the fishing trip catch. Thanks as always for the vid.
Joel, your explanation of what your eating is on point
And makes food more appealing and how you enjoy what your eating,
Keeping us all informed, your amazing
From the Bayou to Great Britain. What a Renaissance man. Thanks for taking us along for the ride.
Thanks for watching
Joel, Muse Muser here, we love Cajun food , especially crawfish (etouffee', boiled, crab, alligator...) and catfish... There are so many great salt & fresh water creatures you can cook. This is one of our favorite videos. Everyone was so kind and you respect them so much!. Move down to Texas to get near great Cajun and you can be strapped.... Seriously though, we look forward to your videos.... Stay based.... We have your back! Sucks that they were kind of inconsistent... Your Cajun friend rocks and we love how you eat with them!... We love Tony C's spices!
🔥🎸🔥
Glad your enjoying bayou country. It has the kindest and most genuine people to be found. Almost everyone here prides themselves on being great cooks, and most of them are. Proud to call it home!
Amen
Born and raised and still, in Mississippi... and here, a pee-can is NOT something edible!!!! 😏 So.....
You STARVED me to DEATH with that boil!!! YUMMMMM!!!! 🤤 And YES! The mushrooms, onions, garlic, and sausage are the BEST! Loooooooooove crawfish, fish, crabs, all of everything you just ate!!!

Joel, you have inspired me to go to Louisiana. I live in Oregon and we have crawdads and crabs, but we don't do not eat it the same way.
New Orleans is a culinary adventure, thnx for sharing 😀
Yes
Crawfish boil is most fun and exciting. I love the fun. It’s a little messy but everyone is messy too. I love the piled on food and it’s an awesome way to eat. So much fun and such a fun family thing to do. we had a 35 lb bag of crawfish. 😋 YUMMY 😋 corn on the cob, sausage little red potatoes, lots of onions. Plus lots off cornbread. Omg it was AWESOME!
Joel, me being from New Orleans - you chose one of the best venues to dine in NOLA! Bon Appétit!
Thanks
Thanks for a great video. really intresting. the food looks so good.
I enjoyed watching your experience, I could tell you really enjoyed yourself. That's awesome. Thanks for the video!
Nice joint you found there in New Orleans Joel.
All of the food looked amazing.
I would of needed some rolls and butter to mop all the juices up from every small plate of food . Mmmmmm 🎉
Thanks!
Love the back yard cooks... everyone gets together and makes great food. Anthony Bourdain did that episode where he shot the pig and they did a big massive bacyard cook... soo good!!

EPIC EPIC video Joel- LOVED every minute!!!🥰
I love the fact that you're doing set Crawfish boil with a family like that is what I ultimately would love to do with my life I appreciate it
Always loving your videos🎉
love the local take its great to see you eating with just the people of the area great communal vid more please
Thanks
Oh, man, I bet the veggies in those boils were to die for -- the corn, potatoes, mushrooms! That's what I love about the south! Here in Miami, we put boiled eggs in the boil as well, and it is so very tasty! I don't know why, but I'm scared to eat alligator. My family always makes fun at me for not being willing to give it a try. I'm not too skippy about the frog legs, either. And you're absolutely right -- a crab boil is a communal event where everybody comes together, dancing, singing, swimming and eating to your heart's delight!
Thank you for your honesty 👌🏽😎
All looks delicious Joel , great video again
Made me want to fly down and eat everything you experienced. Thank you for an awesome video❤️
So fun to fish saltwater in the Gulf Of Mexico. I've caught everything from flounder on the bottom to speckled trout on the top! Always can find something fishing in the Gulf water...💯
Nice
You really described and showed LOUISIANA LIFE, the people are self reliant and family orientated, and you showed it in your video...Thank you for that!!! You need to try alligator hunting next.....
Next time you're in New Orleans you have to try drago's. There's no eating challenge that I'm aware of but the food is great. Love your videos. Keep on eating 👍
Thank you, that was sooo sweet, and caring, God Bless!!!
really great footage my bro God bless i really enjoyed the blogs man its far more enjoyable than just eating
Wow those eggs Benedict looked absolutely delicious. Anyway love your shows…the amount food you eat is crazy
But it’s an awesome skill
awsome family that boil made me so hungry great video
I loved this series so much! Thanks for sharing to others how we do it down here ❤❤
Thanks
Tastes like chicken 🐔 😋 🤪 great video, looks like you have a new family ! Congrats Joel Hansen 👏
I love not all his videos are food challenges but he makes videos of just good food. Those Benedict’s look awesome and dang who don’t like prime rib.
Maybe think about living in Louisiana or in another area that has the same vibe and just eat so much waterfood for 3-6 months. Video ideas. Just showcasing different foods you encounter. This was a good raw video of Southern LA food.
Joel at the resto I work at Frog Legs Battered Do State like Chicken with pepper and salt and we serve them with garlic butter as an entree 3 frog Meslum salad slices mixte olives legs and 6 on a main course., extremely good Cheers for all you do to make every one discover new great foods.
YUMMMY!!! My mouth was watering for some fresh seafood! I know you enjoyed yourself So Much!!!! Ty👏👏👏👏
I had to wait for my day off to watch this one all the way through. My Tennessee MIL had to teach me how to say Puh-con and not Pee-can! Totally worth it! Love you Joel! Merry Christmas 🥂
We call it turtle stew in south carolina. Never heard it called soup before. But it is tasty if you know how to make it. I love to be adventurous with food too. I may not always like it but I'll try it!
Thanks
This was one of the best videos I’ve seen on this channel hats off Joel you were in your bag brody 💯
So happy to see you still out here and loving the food!
This is a great format. I especially like that we got to learn new things. Thanks for the effort you put in to making this.
