Good demonstration. No criticism of the presentation, I just have a general comment about this rolling back the volume thing. When you roll back the volume, you don't have enough volume, so it's pretty useless in a gig situation - JMHO. It's also something that pretty much every pedal that's ever been demonstrated does. It's like touting the pedal has an input jack and an output jack.
I own the pedal and at 70 percent volume it's still at about the same loudness. Dimed out, it's still a decent overdrive at that level, but it does get a noticeable boost in the higher frequencies when rolled off. I prefer the Super Badass Variac Fuzz for cleaning up, personally.
Honestly, I'm not trolling here. I could be wrong. I admit it. I haven't performed in a band in quite a while, but when I did and utilized that technique, it was generally during parts of the song where the rest of the band backed off as well. 🤪 Pedals of course can differ greatly in their electronics and compression algorithms. A side note - those utility pedals that allow for a send and return with level controls are not touted enough. Being able to add a smidge of an effect - with a controlled level of your instrument going into that effect and returning - is very cool, particularly with for cleaner guitar tones... and with bass to avoid blurring the fundamental.

I like slamming my Super Badass Distortion into the Hybrid Fuzz.
Smallstone-Hybrid Fuzz-Boss DS1
I am new to fuzz face type pedals...can they work with other dirt pedals in front of them? Or do they just need a buffer?
The Mt Rushmore of guitar pedal makers are Mike Mathews Michael Fuller Jim Dunlop period
Except Mr. Fuller is not a great person. I emailed him once, he lied to me and didn't wanna give me the time of the day because I wasn't famous.
@@robertisrael338 That doesn't have anything to do with how great he is. 🤷♂️
There's 4 people on Mt Rushmore.

This is simply untrue

Adjust your amp volume accordingly. Use the volume knob as your boost. You know, a lot of pros have been doing it for years...
That is not a good sound . Sounds like my first amp I had back in the eighties😂
Guess you don’t know nothing about fuzz
The mighty Gorilla amp!😆
Great company, great host, great guitarist, great guitar…
Atrocious guitar tone, this video actually made me dislike fuzz
