It’s also how real snipers judge distance when fired on. The round impacts or ‘snaps’ near by and they start counting they stop counting when they hear the report of the rifle. This gives you a nice bit of info on how far away the shooter is. The big time distance the further away they are. 1sec per 300m The target here is around 20-25yds max 😂 I’m surprised he could set the parallax on the NF 😂

I would imagine he's like 25m which is still extremely close for this kind of rifle. One time I caught a tiny piece of fragmentation from a 55gr 5.56 from a 16" barrel while I was 25m away from the steel target. It was a tiny piece but it stung. I was just loading mags at the time but luckily I had my safety glasses on because it struck just below my right eye.
If I had to guess, the steel is at point blank range to make it louder since he’s pretty big on the ASMR factor. Though it is *really* funny to have a full prone shooter setup to basically shoot something at rock throwing range. Might as well shoot from the hip or something goofy like that at that point.

For the scope, the lens grinding alone would net a few hundred. If you've ever worn glasses, you know how expensive glasses can be up front. Now imagine the kind of lens work that goes into making glasses that can give you a clean precision sight picture from 2000+ yards The engineering alone is impressive. most people dont realize how much engineering goes into designing something as simple as a dust pan, much less a high quality precision rifle. Everything from the size and quality of components in the magazine to the firing selector, the ergonomics, length, weight, materials, durability of parts(especially plastic parts) are all things that need to be engineered with intense precision. Even, ironically, mechanical simplicity. Getting the same result that you would out of X+ parts out X/3 parts This rifle IS a car in a very, sleek, compact little body.

You can look on their website after googling 'Barrett MRAD' and you'll see the MK22 is listed under that specific rifle w/ it variations. This is correct.
For those that do not know,the red plastic tip is called flex tip technology(I use them in my deer rifle and everyday carry)they are designed to penetrate a jacket/coat then the skin and then mushroom unlike your typical hollow point these do more damage

For those that do not know,the red plastic tip is called flex tip technology(I use them in my deer rifle and everyday carry)they are designed to penetrate a jacket/coat then the skin and then mushroom unlike your typical hollow point these do more damage
