Christ has paid for our evildoing with his own righteous blood - what wonderful a wonderful truth to ponder!

Amen. Thank you Reverend. I never fully grasped the part that we receive infinite righteousness as well as forgiveness. The more I think about it the more the reformed position makes sense that Christ descended into hell on the cross as opposed to his human soul going to the place of hell.

God the Son willingly takes upon himself all the weight of our evildoing and dies in our place, atoning for our wrongs and imparting upon us, who repent and believe in him, his perfect righteousness.
