- "Killer Queen" is a song by the British rock band Queen. It was written by lead singer Freddie Mercury and recorded for their third album Sheer Heart Attack in 1974.
The song is about a high-class call girl and has been characterized as "Mercury's piano-led paean to a Moët-quaffing courtesan"
Freddie Mercury - lead vocals and backing vocals, grand piano, tack piano, finger snapping
Brian May - electric guitar, backing vocals
Roger Taylor - drums, triangle, chimes, backing vocals
John Deacon - bass guitar
"I'm in Love with My Car" is a song by the British rock band Queen, released on their fourth album A Night at the Opera in 1975. It is the album's only song written entirely by drummer Roger Taylor.
The lyrics were inspired by one of the band's roadies, Johnathan Harris, whose Triumph TR4 was evidently the "love of his life". The song is dedicated to him, with the liner notes mentioning, "Dedicated to Johnathan Harris, boy racer to the end".
When it came down to releasing the album's first single, Taylor was so fond of his song that he locked himself in a cupboard until it was agreed that it would be the b-side to the album's first single, "Bohemian Rhapsody".[4] This decision would later become the cause of much internal friction in the band, in that while it was only the B-side, it generated an equal amount of publishing royalties for Taylor as the main single did for Mercury simply because it was the B-side to "Bohemian Rhapsody"
Roger Taylor - lead and backing vocals, drums, electric rhythm guitar[9]
Freddie Mercury - piano, backing vocals
Brian May - electric guitar, backing vocals
John Deacon - bass guitar

Killer Queen was the first song I ever heard by them and that's why I went to see them for the first time in 1975...fell in love 🥰 and them just had to see them more. Their concerts were absolutely perfect!
Four amazing musicians who each wrote platinum hits and composed songs that even today are not only still listened to but are better than most music in the world . The Real FAB FOUR 👑
Freddie is a showman and he is very entertaining when behind the piano! Roger has perfectly rough vocals and I always applaud drummers who can sing and hit those drums. Queen is one classic that will never grow old!
The Montreal show was staged and filmed for theatrical release. The filmmakers instructed the audience to remain in their seats and not be rowdy. Freddie did not like that as he is fueled by an energetic crowd. That's why he told them to shake their bums!
I always have goosebumps when that version of "I'm In Love With My Car" starts
I just love the transition of these two songs in this medley it is great! The story goes that Roger wrote this song for one of the band's roadies who really was in love with his car. Brian says that he isn't so sure about that because Roger always had a love of all things fast.
"Tons" of Queen sound really good Brother Shane 😊I love Roger's raspy voice , once you get further into the discography I'ld recommend "Old Friend Of Mine" which he published after Freddie's demise. Thanks a million ☮
Thanks for your reaction! I always love seeing reactions from musicians because you guys notice all the little details in the music and the skill level, like in this video you noted John's playing and stuff like that. Thank you for that!
Amen
Another great reaction! Keep queening it up!
Please do Death on 2 legs, I think you'll enjoy that. Love your reactions. Got yourself a sub right here ❤❤❤❤
Roger does a timpani solo at this concert. You should check it out. He wrote a beautiful song after Freddie passed about their friendship called Old Friends. He does the majority of back up singing in concert and some duets with Freddie. Under Pressure at Wembley 1986 and Action This Day at Milton Keynes 1982 are a couple of great duets. Great reaction!
Yay! So glad you enjoyed it. Just for some fun for you since you are a drummer, there is a 19 minute Roger Taylor cam from their Wembley concert. It's one of my favorite things to watch.
En weereens goeie reaksie! 😉Roger is my held btw! 👑🥁
"Met a man from China,
Went down to geisha minor.."
Only Freddie.
Yea pretty impressive eh?
