And this is why Jaylen Brown is overlooked in the NBA. He guards the best player and gets buckets efficiently.
Most def, but to give mikal credit it's hard to do that every night when defense only gotta scheme for you on a team. I don't think any player in the nba would be able to be the primary offensive scorer and keep a high level defensive on teams like the nets. Maybe embid and giannis since they can play as shot blockers.
No he doesn’t but he is a great 2 way guard. He isn’t d wade on defense. The Celtics no. 1 defender is Jrue.

He's a great player. Celtics also help him a lot because he doesn't have to setup the offense. Tatum and Holiday set it up, he just gets to his spot and they get it to him. So, they make it less work for him to score. It's a excellent system they built. It's why they basically were able to cruise to a title this year. People really aren't giving them enough credit for how "easy" they made winning a title look this year.
Ive been a knicks fan since the Ewin's era and this persent team is my favorite mainly because the way these guys get along with each other.
And they play hard.
