What's the point of having a City Council Meeting where citizens can speak but can't complain about the Mayor, the City Council or any other government employee. Having people sign an agreement to not complain about any government employee in order to allow them to speak violates our First Amendment. Cohen v. California makes it clear we can complain about the government and its agents.

@@devilshaircut9 The woman in the video was lawfully exercising the First Amendment rights of free speech, peaceful assembly, and petitioning the government. Moreover, constitutional and federal laws take precedence over those at the local, city, and state levels. Though federal, state, and local governments are prevented from restricting speech, civil courts may decide whether speech is protected or not. Defamatory speech, aggressive speech, actual threats, incorrect advertising, and other related forms of speech are not allowed, none of which the woman applied in the video. She applied facts and logic in order to critique Robert Wingo for receiving a substantial salary of above $265,000 while not demonstrating the level of job performance justifying such a hefty salary. In fact, this is among the highest in the Phoenix Metropolitan Area and is much greater than the median household income of the area, potentially raising suspicions of Wingo, the City Attorney, accruing an exorbitant salary.

Truthfully, not only do we need more women to speak out about injustices within their communities, but we also need more real men who will stand up and protect them from such tyrannical behavior when they do!!! That’s just the natural order of things no matter how offensive those who live in distorted and alternative “reality” think it should be. We open doors for women, stand aside when necessary to allow them to pass, and do a multitude of other things when in the presence of a woman simply for the sole purpose of acknowledging that we, men, are in the presence of a woman. I hope there are some real men there, in Surprise Az, who have extended their offer of support towards this determined fellow American female patriot.

I hope someone with a large public platform, be it Glenn Beck, Saun Hannity, Steve Bannon’s War Room, or whoever, has her on their program to help make her plight known to the American public. We’re going to have to unite in mass to overcome this vile wickedness that has gotten a pretty strong foothold in our country. This simply should not be happening, not in America!!
