Another great video.

👍🏼😁
Great vlog - now you’re really tempting us - only bit putting us off is having to leave the dog in the van on the ferry. All the best, David & Rachel 👍
There is a kennel on board. Plus crossing isn’t too long! Thanks for watching and commenting 🍻
If you haven’t tried Guinness West Indies Porter, you should. Available in most shops in Ireland. Really lovely beer.
I do prefer the West Indies porter and the export to the standard Guinness, but I’ve been spoiled by barrel aged beers and pastry stouts I think!
Most Irish origin pronunciations are with a soft “a”. As in “ah” rather than “A”.
So “Lee-naan” (like naan bread) rather than “Lee-nane”.
The Irish words are totally different. “Bh” is pronounced as a “v”. “Dh” is sometimes like a “y”, sometimes like “dy” and sometimes almost silent”. “Gh” as in “Lough” is a “k” but in other words almost silent.
Basically it’s impossible like Welsh is to the uninitiated.
Just like when I was in Scotland I really fancy learning bits of all the Gaelic languages. Maybe next years ny resolution!
Sorry to hear about your condition Steff, I hope you overcome it. I did this same route over the weekend also, so please check out my travel video too :)
Thanks! We’ll definitely take a look. 🍻 for watching and commenting.
