Fountain Pen Lot: Did I Waste My Money Or Score Big?

- I picked up another fountain pen lot. You know, a bunch of unlabelled fountain pens on eBay. This is usually a pretty good gamble -- sometimes you'll get some great pens, sometimes you'll pay someone to ship some trash to your house.
So... how did I do?
For $25 I got 14 pens:
- Twsbi Go
- Online Switch Plus
- Online Vision Fountain pen (retail value $32!)
- 3x Sheaffer
- Nice but no-name brand with a dove (falcon?) on it
- Parker The New Parkette

I'd pay $25 in a heartbeat! You did fine, congratulations. 😎👍
the lamy copy is a wing sung 6359 i have one it work fine and gets alot of use
You should consider going to estate sales, I have been, and have had amazing finds for sooooo cheap! You'll be drowning in jotters lol. I just found a 51 vac fill in a giant bag of other pens for $1.50. Definitely worth it if you can. Enjoy your videos as always.
Those online cartridges are double-enders, lamy in one side, international in the other.
I love the look of that Parker and the old Sheaffers. Nice find!
I have an ONLINE Campus and I'm extremely happy with it, it has such a lovely nib!
$25 for 14 pens like these are well spent. I would love to buy these if I can.
Osmiroid haven't heard that since the 1980's, that's when I first bought one. Shame about the knock off Lamys and Twsbi Go.
That Parker is probably a 1950s Parkette, which was indeed a lever filler. If so, that’s your bargain.
The proper metric nut, resin or metal, should do the trick for the missing part for the TWSBI Go. Go play around at Fastenal , Home Depot, Menards, Hardware store, etc.
Jinhao “Lamy” pens have Jonhao written or etched into them in the areas that Lamy has it done.
Just thought I’d share that, even though Jinhao does rip off a lot of brands they almost ALWAYS put their logo on it.
Check out the MITSUBISHI LIMEX.
Literally love your videos.
Love from India
Thanks for another entertaining video.
The ONLINE fountain pen is actually an ONLINE Switch (I guess that's what it's called... hopefully I don't tell any bullshit).
It has a stylus on the body part to use it on a tablet or on a phone.
@@unsharpen You're welcome
Gold nibs on any of these?
That Parker isn't a real one, maybe some other brand named Parker, but not the famous brand that made the 51s. Parker never used lever fillers, except for some older ones I believe, so not really the famous Parker brand. I prefer screw caps, due to them being able to withstand years of use, so not really my cup of tea for the lot, but I believe you definitely got your money's worth! That view all caught my eye, never heard of them as well.
Sal I looked at them, and I think you might be right! The color of the pen body just looks strange. Usually it's all swirly.
As I watched this video, the only thing that came to mind was a question: will the caps on the Lamy knockoff fit genuine Lamy pens? Would love to know. None of these pens impressed me. So, to answer this video's question, I would have to say "Yes, money was wasted." As always, thanks for the video!
