I mean, people saying he only had 28 mins screen time is incorrect since there are alot of scenes where he's just idle either standing or sitting. Add to that the flashback of a young Johan, so yeah not "just" 28 minutes.

Johan reminds me of Sephiroth from FF7 in a way, not in their personalities, but the way either of them are barely present in the media they're part of, yet they're a constant ominous threat lurking somewhere in the shadows

The German dub was also a perfect one man and Czech one if only all the characters speak their own language like capek speaking Czech and tenma speaking in Japanese and the Turkish woman speaking Turkish to his son
