We never had any reason to go to that area before the stadiums were built so I don't really remember what it looked like. However I do remember going with my dad to the inner harbor in the late 80's or very early 90's and seeing a sign that said "home of the 1992 Orioles" on the side of the warehouse. We took a high school field trip to Camden Yards right after it was built and I remember everything being brand new. Notes that the workers had written in pencil on the walls were still visible.
Thanks so much for sharing. I worked for Maryland Cup from 1977-87 (Owings Mills plant) and recognize the Fort Howard trailers. Fort Howard bought them out sometime around 1985 and it was no longer the same, so I decided to get out. It would be great if you could find someone who could "morph" the new stadiums in at certain points, but this is just great stuff. Thanks again.
awesome video you missed some names along the Eutaw street row. Inland Leady chemicals, B Green warehouse, Retts electronic school Park Sausage and Hammerjacks was across from the tracks on the east side across from maryland cup company.
That soundtrack is jamming and great footage to go with it. I was born in 86 and my first Os game was during the inaugural festivities of Camden Yards! Go Os! Thanks for the video and do you have any clue on the source and/or band of the hot tune playing here?
I used one of the soundtracks that You Tube makes available for videos that may need some music. I picked this one because it closely fit the 3:18 time of my video. The notation for it is "Niacin Acrajazz". I'm not sure which one is the title and which is the band.
As a kid born in 2002 this is the coolest video

Wow what a trip back... Thanks for that.

1:27 The Breezeway of OPACY where the Welcome Sign where the two Old School Orioles Logo are.
I recall the church building at the site of Ravens Stadium. You could see it from the I-95 ramp to MLK Blvd.
