My Einkorn Bread Tutorial (Kind of)

  • Here is my process for getting a higher rise einkorn sourdough loaf. I love sourdough for its flavor, its nutritional profile, and its digestibility. However, due to lacking certain types of gluten, einkorn bread can have a lower rise than traditional sourdough. I have been trying many methods to achieve a higher rise, and this is my favorite method. I am so bad at creating tutorial videos because usually I am cooking in my PJs. I tried to explain my process the best I could! Feel free to post a comment and I will provide clarification if needed.

    This is so similar to my recipe with fresh milled enikorn! I thought I was going in the wrong direction with using less water than my previous all purpose flour sourdough.
    I'm definitely going to try some of your tips 😀

      yes Einkorn DEFINITELY does not use as much water! Sticking it in the fridge for some part of the fermentation also helps!
