Her Holistic Home is about living a holistic lifestyle in multiple ways! Most of this is centered around my own experiences living a natural life for over 12 years as a mom of three. Natural living - Let's talk about organic foods, supplementation, practitioners, and toxin free products. I have been a medical freedom activist for years. I love encouraging people to take care of their bodies because God only gave us one. Faith - The culture has really come against Christians. Many of us have inadvertently fallen into the lies culture has told us. I am currently working towards my certification in Biblical counseling and I want to share with you what I am learning on a weekly basis! Homeschooling - I absolutely consider myself a homeschooling activist. I was homeschooled myself and I am now homeschooling my children. Breaking our children away from government schools is just one way we can raise our children in Christ. I hope my experiences can be helpful to you in some way!
Our Homeschool Schedule + A Myth
I have been asked to share our schedule for how we incorporate our curriculum and arrange our day. I think you will find this pretty anticlimactic but it's just what works for us! The "myth" I share may ruffle some feathers though (but seriously not meaning to offend). I think homeschooling can take many forms. Many moms do it differently but I think we also need to have realistic expectations (in my opinion as a second generation homeschooler)!

Women Owned Business - My Pet Peeve

Just venting but...seriously y'all if you are going to put stuff on your packaging, at least let it be something that shows me the VALUE in your product. Being women owned is not that. Being women owned doesn't add any value to the product and the fact that they think that it does - makes me question the quality of the product.

hey! So ya I know it is difficult to see in the video. Basically I write out all the dates on the left side that show each date of the year (like a calendar) Then on the top row all the subjects. I write in which days we will do which. Now The way I PRINT IT. I just highlight the week cells we are on.. and do a "print selected". It is really not "pretty" haha! It just looks like a grid
@herholistichome not everything has to be from canva ha ha thank you, I appreciate it. I was not sure how that worked when you said you just dropped it down, but that makes sense. New subscriber and early on in my homeschooling, I appreciate your unique perspective. Also, thank you for saying it takes more than two hours that was very affirming. Even with my littles, though, the actual "school time" might be two hours or less, between the bathroom, playing, eating, and baby breaks. It really takes up most of the day.
You should look into Heart of Dakota. For Christian history and literature it can’t be beat.

Can u do a detailed video on how u do ur 5th grade daily/weekly schedule plz this is what I struggle w so much!!! Like for language arts I know there is writing, reading, handwriting, grammar and etc so do they do all hat during LA or is it looped if so how? Plz help

So the first reading level e is part of their reading program. If you do their kinder program you would go through a-d I believe. I never did that. I used All About Reading level 1 for both my girls in kindergarten and it worked great for us

Oh interesting… all the curriculum I have from there doesn’t really mention anything about God or a biblical worldview other than just maybe factual information. Maybe that is just the history resources I have from them 🤷🏻♀️ but good to know!

I have not personally other than the social studies that I will talk about in the 1st grade video. It didn’t line up with our history time line but I do plan on using it for their explorers to modern times! :)

Yes in the video I mention I put it in the fridge when I am putting it in the oven. In the beginning you see me take it out of the fridge. The first oven is just to help it warm up a bit with the oven light

It enhances the flavor by allowing it to ferment but not overproof. I find einkorn in my home overproofs quickly. So refrigeration allows me to delay the process a bit AND it allows it to keep its shape (einkorn is a stickier dough as it has a weak gluten structure)
