I think we've somewhat adopted his eye for design, so if we dislike something, he probably does as well without us saying anything, and if he likes something, its quite likely that the majority of us agree with him and like the design as well. We're all quite likeminded around here methinks when it comes to aesthetics :P

35 inch tires on 16 inch rims would set that thing off as a real half scale rock buggy .... killer build !!!

Even at over 500k subs, your channel is seriously underrated. You need to give yourself more credit. Everything you're doing is interesting! It's a great opportunity for people to learn from you too. You have a seriously gifted mind for this kind of stuff.
That said, I think a lot of us appreciate and can relate to your conscientious mindset. For me, that's a big attraction to your channel. I think you and I think similarly. Though I just don't have the knowledge or drive that you do to create these masterpieces.

It looks better! What about leave that x brace between the shocks in then don’t have anything over the motor? Then make a sweet low profile intake/air box out of aluminium like and ram air scoop👍
Agree. The tubing is just as tall as the radiator he had to move.
Or run the tubes around the side of the engine instead of over it?

Know the half moons that you have over the engine you also need to add a few to the center of the cab above your head to tie the front to the back. Awesome change!
I love that trick you did clamping the piece of bar on the side of the work piece so you could easily set the angle in the bender.
I know that it could be done with a digital angle finder but this "analogue" solution does not require the chassis to be level to work, it just works.

I agree with you that the front end does look much better. I feel that clutch guard is adequate, much better than whats on a snowmobile. Yes clutches and belts do fly apart at times but you will be fine with the guard. Good job Chris.

Looks much better, not that the old one was bad, but these new lines are more in tone with the build's size.
The seating position laid back, yields less view of obstacles, set in more of an upright position and moving it a bit higher would be a big benefit, keep up the good work.
Yeah and that seat is trash,he needs a proper bucket seat,he will really suffer in that one

I was actually hoping you'd make the change, I think the shocks would look better with their own mounting hoops. Love your attitude man it ain't right until it's perfect. Especially the time, and money you have invested. Looks mean now!

Very good job mate, you definitely made the right choice in changing the look of it. Better aesthetics as Well as functionality. Can't wait to see this thing in its natural habitat!
I think that to make the front part of the build look less “fat” you should somehow fill in the v shape that is created between it and where a windshield would be. It may make the whole design flow better. Great job so far!

Like the changes, lookin much better
I liked the original shock towers from the windshield to the shocks, but I could see the very front had to be reworked so the radiator could lay down. The new design looks good too tho, and the new center supports look 100% better. Can’t wait to see it crawling. Great work!

The new design is much better on the eyes
A surge tank for the radiator would solve a lot of your air pocket problems especially, if you mount the tank higher than the engine . Also some gussets for your beautiful frame will make your rock buggy even stronger .. Great work . Love the progress you are making...
i hate spiders too, got exactly the same problem about two day´s ago and every five minutes i had time to think about it it drive me crazy btw. Awesome video, greetings from Germany

You should wire the fan to blow air through the radiator. This will keep the hot air out of your face and should theoretically protect the front of the radiator from small debris with a cushion of air. Keep doing exactly what you do. 😊 you’re channel is better than tv channels.

should consider redoing the top bar for the "doors", to make it a reflection of the new "hood" line, making the whole line of the car a long exaggerated S . would make the whole side view look more smooth and flowing. BTW should use a propane torch for spiders
