That thing is going to be a blast to drive. You should invite your neighbor to go riding with you and a few of your toys. Maybe when he hears all the noise, in the future, it will remind him of fun instead of anger.
The look on your face when it finally fired, was priceless! Way to not give up! Sometimes you just have to walk away from a project, I've found. Things usually come to me when I'm lying in bed. That engine sounds angry by the way, absolute music to my ears. Keep up the great work. Love your builds!
Definitely love this guy. He is what every fabricobbler dreams to be and build working in his (or her) she'd building cool shit. I love his "I'll make it work" attitude and out of the box problem solving the most. I am a little upset he didn't just rev the crap out of it when the muffler fell off. Felt a little teased right there but the man is a legend
Glad to see it coming together! In the future don't worry about buying a factory key module. All you need is a 150ohm resistor from a 12v source (acc) to the ignition wire on the ecm. I've built two crosskarts with suzuki motors an 06 and 15, both work with the resistor trick.
A bit of aesthetic advice. On that pedal you made, rather than have the spring on the topside, which kinda makes it a bit ugly, extend the arm of the pedal, make a hole through the plate for it to go on the other side and mount it below. Cleans things up a bit and makes them more pro looking. Just a little bit of advice. :) This build is one of your best so far (can't say your best, because that pocket bike is impressive, and basically "chef's kiss").
You need a few more teeth on the sprocket on the motor itself. That'll take up the slack in the chain & It'll spin the tranfer case a lil bit faster with less effort from the motor. Keep up the good work
You oughta look into high-speed capable hydraulic transmissions. Little pump/motor combos, can get up to 30mph but what really matters is they can crawl and pull like crazy!
Done it again eh Chris? Yet another fine machine you've built 😁 I wouldn't forget a chain and belt guard or you could attract some interesting scars on your left leg! This should be fun watching you go rock crawling in it. Tony from Western Australia 🇦🇺
I have been extremely impressed by you amazing creativity and skill. I have wanted to build something like this for many years. Thank you for posting your progress. Really looking forward to seeing what she can do.
Awesome project, the CVT its defenitly working, that will make the driving more easy and fun. You could put advertisements, it would give you a good help, because this isnt cheap, for me its reasonable for the effort you make
Man I can’t wait till you get that thing out for it’s first rip. Sounds like a beast. Like most things you build I think we’ll all be surprised how she does! 👍
I’m constantly amazed by how you figure out how to work with the tools at your disposal, you are ingenious, love your projects! Ever thought about becoming an engineer?
So rad. One of the awesome things of the gears and cvt is instead of changing clutch springs for different engagement rpms you can simply just switch gears for wat ever engagement rpm you want so that is kinda cool.
When In doubt, Go to a larger master cylinder and your weak or even soft brakes should be a thing of the past. Otherwise brother awesome awesome build especially with the whole engine transmission and clutch system combined with the old Iron transmission and CVT which makes your gear ratios infinite! Have always wanted to try and getting a CVT on a multi speed gear box just for S&Gs, But you answered my questions and curiosities on this topic. Great job man! 👏 👍 👌
Looking good Chris be careful what transmission gear oil/ fluid type you put in a trans if it has any brass components . Some types of doping will destroy brass .Also make sure you have good brakes with the cvt style trans. Doesn't hold back like a standard transmission.
This is a great build Chris. I love how have designed the 4 wheel drive system. You really should check with Harbor Freight about the recall on your stool!!
I am sure the sound just doesn't carry over 100% on youtube, that being that .. it souds freaking awesome 👍🏼👍🏼.. As soon as it started, I was like "Damn" Keep up the great work..
The primary clutch can be tuned for lower engagement as well as side force and peak rpm although not sure how the last part would fit into the equation here. Someone else has already mentioned here that the belt is too loose so it will start in a higher gear ratio. That primary seems to be a snowmobile unit so it will be tuned for a low torque high revving engine which is why it engages at or above 3000 rpm. Get your hands on a clutch tuning handbook and learn to tune both clutches and you will be happy with that set up. Got to keep the belt dry but well ventilated at the same time. Good luck and happy tuning!
Awesome! Such a change from the beginning, awesome! Stunning, really kool. Phone needs a serious wash so gonna stop here so I can clean phone after video.
"Chris...I think you are one of, if not...'the best' fabricator on the Tube. Hands down, considering the limited tools you have, you put most of the 'outfitted shops' to shame. I can only imagine how your life would change for the better if you had a plasma table! WHERE THE HELL ARE THE PLASMA MFGR's? WHY DOESN'T JUST ONE OF THEM STEP UP AND HELP YOU OUT? How I wish I had the extra money to send you for that! I'm 72 & retired so my funds are limited...sorry!" ...charlie...😎
VERY NICE !!!! but keep an eye out for you exhaust tho.. at 15:22 you give some gas and you can see the slip-on trying to get away. it would suck if you lose it !
That’s Awesome it popped right off !! Did sound good . I’ll bet that’s going to be so fun to ride Sure sounds good . I have an suggestion for color FLORISSANT ORANGE OR GREEN 👍But it’s your Toy thanks again for letting me sit in your shop and watch you work
Last year I bought 2 "Sv650"s from a police auction locally, got home and found out there weren't in fact svs but XF. They are still 650cc but single cylinder one of which the engine has been taken out and out in a gokart. Disappointed they aren't twins because that sounds so damn good.
the starting issue is resistance related, the SV650 key switch has a 100ohm resistor in it that the ecu senses and lets the bike start, thats how it was on my 01 atleast, the cluster looks like a newer FI model though so idk if its as similar as yours, a pack of 50 on ebay is like 12 dollah
Bub this is going to be a awesome toy!!!Can’t wait to see you rage this thing !! It would be awesome to see you put some aluminum body panels on it ???? to keep the sticks and mud out !!!!and maybe make a mean face on the very front !!! Maybe some leds under the body panels. where at nite it looks like some kind of creature is coming after you!! Lol keep knocking out the projects !! over and over man your killing the game!! Hope that one day soon you can move all your stuff into a shop !! Maybe on your own piece of land !! that way you can make test tracks and such!! And have a place for playing with your toys!!! Great work awesome content!!!!
You should set up the sprockets where the CVT engages in the middle gears (2&3). The gears in the transmission are closer in size in that range and therefore stronger.... Plus, it'll give you more ranges to use because 1-4 are useless right now.
I must say I like this project out of all of them.. looks like it’s going to be a blast.. when it’s done you really gotta do some good riding content with this thing..
I just stopped by to hear Chris's "mad scientist giggle" that he always does when he finally gets the engine running for the latest creation. Cannot wait to see this thing shred.
Chris this is Brent in AZ. A good trans. would be the 3 speed from a car they have shift levers on side of rhe case I think that would make it easer to hook up linkage just a fyi. keep up the good work.
hi from France ! Excuse my bad english..... I'm a big fan ! I dont understand all when you're speaking but i am progressing !!! There is a moment at 9:58..... you say "i'll fixed up tomorrow" (if i correctly understand) that remember me when it's time to take a moment back and to be honnest that makes me laught , tinking i'm not the only one to "en avoir marre" (french sorry) !!! You're aamazing guy, i see whenyou make a late; it was so intructive . Please continue your vidéos, you'r all over the world !! Tahnks for everything and again excuse my bad english, i hope you will understand !!
bloody awesome work, i been watching from the start, Well done! hope seat isn't too low down, maybe could put a cheap reverse camera on front so you can see where front wheels are easier
I have a set of those same style Fox shocks and really like them, I broke down and bought the bottle and regulators to adjust them like you did.. I also run a Polaris CVT and transmission and a similar rear suspension..
Great job. Go back and watch your muffler when you really rev it up. May have to much back pressure or not tight enough springs on it. It moved quiet a bit out when revving it up.
You are without a doubt the best small engine/go kart/weird things fabricator that is on RUclips with the exception of grindhard
I'd say his fabrication skills are right on par with gh plumbing
@@davidhamilton7628 I would say better.
How much persons does grind hard have to help get things done?
👍🏻
word man, definitely on par if not better, tough call, all round really great work thats for sure👍👍👍👍
My two favorite fabrication channels no doubt!
That thing is going to be a blast to drive. You should invite your neighbor to go riding with you and a few of your toys. Maybe when he hears all the noise, in the future, it will remind him of fun instead of anger.
That's one hell of a machine Chris! The projects keep getting better all the time. I can't wait to see what you are brewing up for us next!
The look on your face when it finally fired, was priceless! Way to not give up! Sometimes you just have to walk away from a project, I've found. Things usually come to me when I'm lying in bed. That engine sounds angry by the way, absolute music to my ears. Keep up the great work. Love your builds!
Wow! I remember back in the day watching you when you had a few thousand subs.....But now 540K!...I feel like a proud dad
Definitely love this guy. He is what every fabricobbler dreams to be and build working in his (or her) she'd building cool shit. I love his "I'll make it work" attitude and out of the box problem solving the most. I am a little upset he didn't just rev the crap out of it when the muffler fell off. The sense of happiness and success in you face wen something works out is addictive man keep up the grind
Good to see somebody actually putting coolant in before the first start
every time I open you tube I always check if there is an up date of the MR CRAWLER, I love this project
love the positivity in this comment section, keep up the amazing work chris and god bless.
15:22 It's pretty cool watching the carb linkage operating. Nicely done, Sir
Glad to see it coming together! In the future don't worry about buying a factory key module. All you need is a 150ohm resistor from a 12v source (acc) to the ignition wire on the ecm. I've built two crosskarts with suzuki motors an 06 and 15, both work with the resistor trick.
Hell yeah man, been ready to see this ripping everywhere!!!

Sweet! She sounds like a beast! I can hardly wait to see it on the trail climbing some obstacles! 👍👍
I am so happy.. I was right there with you dewd... can't wait to see it crawl

Yoooo I like how you started off the video this time.
I love this channel, so much is actually made from scratch and every other word isn’t go powersports 😂 lookin at you C&C 😂😂😂
And no go powersports HP claims with out dyno proof AKA RBG
Go powersports .
Nice work Chris for me it's actually more fun to make and figure mechanical things out then driving it.
I really love the transmission on this thing it might be the best thing for off-roading! Great job as usual 👍
Done it again eh Chris? Yet another fine machine you've built 😁

Very impressive, been watching the hole build. Looking foward to the finished product. Good luck
Excellent! You are really dialing your craft Chris!

love the videos.
8:32 -Looks like he's got the force or something, barely moves his hand and the paper goes flying...
Am I the only one who was impressed by this? XD

My sxs has engine braking with its CVT. In low gear it brakes really aggressively.
@@Shredxcam22 I'm sure some do , different design, don't think Chris design will ?
@@larryalexander4833 you can hear it engine braking the wheels when he lifts off the throttle and the CVT had cycled
@@Shredxcam22 it is stationary. No vehicle momentum felt with .
Well done Chris. 👍😁
This is a great build Chris. I love how have designed the 4 wheel drive system. You really should check with Harbor Freight about the recall on your stool!!
Looks so good! RFID is pita in most late model cars you cannot even mix and match
I love seeing the excitement on your face. Same look i get . Nice job dude
Dude i cant wait for the first test drive that thing looks and sounds AWESOME!!! 🛠️🔧🔨
Yowww it's 1:47am here in Philippines and watching your previous build and uploaded new one and watching it...😎😎😎
Hi , lots of fun , looks good , looking forward to seeing it go .
Awesome Chris great to see those wheels turn and that engine running, seeing the sense of achievement on your face man awesome 👍 nice job man😃
Congratulations well done
Can't wait to see what this machine will go like on the rough stuff,
I am sure the sound just doesn't carry over 100% on youtube, that being that

That's absolutely sick 🔥 Motor sounds like it should pull pretty dang good.
Can't wait to see it rip. 🔥👍✌️
Love the sound of that motor. Excellent job on this build so far Chris. Can't wait until you put it to the test as I know it will be a beast.
Brutal!! Much encouragement in future projects
That thing looks awesome. Can’t wait to see you write it. 👍🏽😎🤙🏽
Crazy to think I discovered this channel because of a chainsaw powered skateboard Chris built. Awesome to see how far he’s come.

I'm doing the same thing with an Odyssey build. It's like putting 10lbs of shite in a 5 lb bag. Like a puzzle you don't have the box to go off of.
VERY NICE !!!! but keep an eye out for you exhaust tho.. at 15:22 you give some gas and you can see the slip-on trying to get away. it would suck if you lose it !
You could run a hood scoop for the air intake for this. You have the room and opportunity for it.
we can't wait for the next video you are an inspiration for many of us greetings from Mexico
The wrong lube is better than no lube 👌 keep up the great work dude this machine is turning out to be killer!!

ah the joy of IT'S ALIVE ! Dr. Frankenstein
A polaris transmission is basically a transfer case. I always use a synthetic transfer case fluid.

they normally have a resister in the ignition barrel that lowers the voltage to a set wire on the ecu
This channel is really underrated , wish I could be hanging out with you just to be there to help and learn
