The ANgels have done one thing right and that's hiring this man. He's a winner and has a positive message for life. When he says keep working hard and wait for an opportunity-- that goes for all of us in every profession. Put in the time and effort and usually good things happen. I appreciate being reminded of that.

I hate to see this man leave but i hope he turns the Angels around. I'd like to see them in the playoffs. I can remember rooting for them in 2002. It was an awesome series. Good luck to Wash! He'll be missed but he deserves everything he achieves.

Man this is exactly the type of manager that team needs. However will Arte Moreno allow Washington to have the input he needs when it comes to free agent signings and trades. Lastly just listening to Washington speak makes me want to run through a catcher for him!!

First MLB game I ever went to was the 1st of a 3 game series, the Angels vs. the Cleveland Indians and Bo Belinsky was pitching and won the only game the Angels would win in the series at Dodger Stadium. I went to the first game at the Big A in 1966. I noticed the Angels that won the only World Series they ever went to was won the year before Moreno got there under Disney ownership. It was Sciosia who took the team to several postseasons, but only one Championship, but won Manager of the year at least twice as I recall and had a .536 win average. He just stayed too long and retired. I'm sure he got tired of not getting what he needed as well. I'm afraid Wash will get the same thing.

there's a lot of good things I could say about this man, Ive been watching since HE PLAYED THE GAME, years before he started coaching and managing. But I'll just simplify his incredible passion for this game, this way: The Atlanta Braves would not have won a WS without him on their coaching staff. People talk about how talented their lineup was, without Acuna in it that season. Tnats true. But the main reason they won a WS starts with their pitching and DEFENSE. And Wash' is the one that made them defensively ELITE that year in their infield.

@@Streez-00 I’m not sour on the young kids , I want to see them play , but it’s about team building , you don’t always have to have big name superstars , but every team needs a good bullpen , Matt moor is still out there , there’s other quality arms still available , build a good pen, and let the young guys grow under wash , the rotation is iffy, Sandoval has got to get his head together and get command of his fast ball , to emotional on the mound , silseth and detmers I’m expecting allot from both have great stuff and upside , can canning do it again , he pitched well last season if he can do it again we have a nice unit , I’m not sold on Tyler Anderson that’s who I’d like to replace , get me Matt moor , left handed hitter like Hoskins or belt , and 1 more reliever and I say let’s roll . Strengthen the pen the season will be fun

Wash is the real deal. The kids on the team - the Zach Netos, Jo Adells, Logan O'Hoppes, Nolan Schanuels - will benefit from his leadership the most. If the youngsters have anything in them, it might be a very good year (like the 85/86 Angels - with all the kids) ... if not, then it's gonna be a LONG year.

Rendon is simply taking advantage of the Work From Home program, originally adopted by Justin Upton, who introduced him to the program. Prop to Pujols. At least Pujols showed up early to work & hit inning ending double plays for millions of dollars.

the perspective of baseball fans should be wary. too many arrows are pointing up for the dodgers and negative for anaheim. i'm getting the sense that the angels young team after losing ohtani will have something to prove in '24 and will start out of the gates breathing fire n brimstone, surprise a lot of experts, while the blue crew will start sluggish and cause worry at chavez ravine. imo ron washington will soon make a powerful statement
