I forgot to mention that you need to turn off no spread after you're done standing still shooting bots. No spread will always keep your weapon accurate while moving. This will make it impossible to improve at counter-strafing. Be sure to turn it off! Shoutout to @pate237 for catching that.
what order do you do your routine in ryder? Im doing aimlabs, recoil control, 1000 bots, prefires, dm. Also is using auras on prefires bad and is aimlabs necessary or is aimbotz and in game experience enough for microadjustments?
@@monty2325 that’s essentially my exact order, but I do bots then recoil control. In my honest opinion though I think any order is okay as long as you’re putting in the work.
2:04 I'm not really qualified to give this advice, but wanted to emphasize; it's important to not counter-strafe until right before the moment you want to shoot. I just wanted to note for your own practice, since in the video there's a huge delay between when when you counter-strafe, stop, track the bot and then shoot, when it's more ideal to strafe while tracking and then counter-strafe right before you want to shoot accurately, which is more difficult. I wouldn't be surprised if you were taking it slow for the video, but I wanted to point that out just in-case. 👍
Wow, this seems like a solid routine. I only have 350 hours in game right now and have always wanted to just have better aim but didn’t know how to go about it with structure. This video helped massively and I didn’t know what prac and refrag were before this, thanks!
have been playing csgo for some years now with irl friends and never took improving seriously, but given the state of the game im somewhat forced to start playing faceit. Your channel has been instrumental to my improvement and I find myself coming back to your videos often. Your channel is destined to blow up, keep up the amazing work.

I have a huge recommendation for when your warming up in aim botz. Listen to c418 music. That's not a joke. I was originally going to do a 15 min warm up session cuz I always dread playing aim botz because of how boring it is to just shoot at bots. But when I started listening to some of his music I was trying to make excuses to play more because of how good it is IMO. Even his cookie clicker music is good somehow. It doesn't just have to be c418, Find an artist whos music you really like and make a playlist of it. Also make sure to use shuffle to prevent the music from getting stale.
On csgo there used to be so many better maps to train your aim even fast reflex map was 10x better for practicing tracing which used to be my favourite..
I know exactly what you're talking about, and I agree for the most part. There are other alternatives for workshop maps. Hopefully in the future we can start getting back what we lost when CS2 came out.
I have been trying to find some good videos on different aim routines people do and haven't heard anyone give more specific time numbers other than the DM for an hour. How long on average would you say you train in a day vs how long are you playing matches? I am still trying to find the sweet spot for myself, as I find that I am doing aim botz for half an hour, DMing for an hour, refragging for half an hour, and spray control for 10 mins or so, but then I'll only have 3-4 hours worth of time to actually play faceit games during weekdays after work. Kind of makes me feel like I am training my aim more than actually playing the game (which I am unsure if it is beneficial or not). Love the vid though and will def be implementing some of the aim botz routine into my own!
I know what you mean when you say “train my aim away.” When I first started playing CS I would do 99% playing 1% training. And now I’m almost the entire opposite. But even though that’s the case and sometimes I do feel that “trained my aim away” feeling, my play is far more consistent. Once I started practicing more than I play matches, I climbed in elo faster than I ever had.
Eventually! Always smart to get reps in before we compete! I look at Counter-Strike more as a sport than a video game. Of course the vast majority of people do not adopt this mindset which explains their lack of training. And that’s okay! I’m always trying to improve how I play and learn as much as I can. Thanks for watching!
@@lFrezZzl I’m not too sure if that’s true! During my climb I maintained a healthy marriage, took care of my family, worked a full time job, and finished my degree. It has less to do with your age and more to do with your time management skills. Either way, thanks for watching!
Thanks for the tips but Ive been noticing a bad habit of mine which has resulted to losing the easiest duels and that is shooting an enemy as soon as i see them resulting in me missing a lot. Do you have any tips whatsoever on how I can overcome this?
Join a DM and just aim at people, don’t shoot. You’ll be surprised how much time you have to kill someone. You’ll start to be more clam when you see opponents and won’t do that knee jerk reaction of shooting before aiming.
i would practise daily, but i consistently have these time periods where i'm gone from my pc for about two weeks sadly. am i cooked? or will all this training not do anything?
Yes! During the aim bots portion of the video I mentioned that the last 250 bots are focused on tracking. During your training spend more time doing that exercise. It’ll take a lot of practice to develop that skill but it’ll absolutely translate in game. Thanks for watching bro and good luck with your CS journey.
3:17 I'm not even sure if you need to use recoil training. Follow recoil is a godsent for new players and it can allow you to skip recoil training alltogether.
That's all personal preference. But overall it's important to 1. Have a training routine regardless of when you do it. and 2. At the very least, warm up before every match.
An hour may be overdoing it in my opinion. But as long as you’re actually playing matches + DMing along with that it should be fine. Thanks for watching!

As an experienced aimer I don't think gridshot is a good scenario to practice and I'd recommend playing a similar scenario but with moving targets instead (if it's available on Aimlabs). Great video anyways.
It’ll remove weapon inaccuracy (all guns have a certain level of inaccuracy) and while you move and shoot you’ll be accurate. Like I mentioned in the pinned comment when you’re working on counter’s strafing be sure to turn it off.
