- Gaff Gun demo at NAB Show 2015 - Maybe its the carpet he says... This was over about 5 minutes. Once we started to see it fail, i started recording. I wish I had the whole thing. Epic Fail. Im sure the newbs to the industry are flocking to buy these.
To be fair to the guy it does actually work and it is partially the carpet and partially the wires spread out like that. I guess they want an impressive product demo but putting the wires closer together is something you would do naturally. People are naturally going to say that doing it like its always been done doesn't take up that much more time and you haven't wasted your money but honestly once you have it, it becomes one less thing that you need to worry about.
Sure, but it becomes one MORE thing you have to carry, and look around stage for. Where’s the gaffgun case? Screw it, leave it in the warehouse 😤

It also looks like the wire guide isnt on there.....seriously this thing works great IRL.

To be fair, no idiot would try gaffing down cables that were at least going in a similar direction. 🙄
If it took standard Nashua gaff it would be fine but the greedy company screwed themselves by making it accept only their special sized (expensive) tape. Now a reasonable idea is completely outcast. 🙄🖕🏽😤
