MacLeod Battles

Associated Clan MacLeod Societies are proud to present a remastered version of MacLeod Battles, the third and final part of a series produced by Peter and Wendy Macleod in 2019 and originally sold in DVD format.
This video covers 5 military episodes from the many involving Clan MacLeod, these mainly from the late 1400s and 1500s, turbulent times in the highlands of Scotland. This was a time of ‘feuds and forays’ with the Lordship of the Isles, which had maintained a semblance of stability for many decades, in decline by the late fifteenth century and the clan chiefs acting as independent rulers. Warlike activity was the order of the day.
As on earlier videos in the series, each battle is given its context and prefaced by images of Skye and the Hebrides which locate the battle to the places where long past these events took place.
