This video covers 5 military episodes from the many involving Clan MacLeod, these mainly from the late 1400s and 1500s, turbulent times in the highlands of Scotland. This was a time of ‘feuds and forays’ with the Lordship of the Isles, which had maintained a semblance of stability for many decades, in decline by the late fifteenth century and the clan chiefs acting as independent rulers.
