wagu beef burgers....man that's some super fly first class stuff right there. I tried looking for Annie's mayo in the local Mom's Organic Market but nada. I did get some of their yellow mustard for a try. I am soooo looking forward to moving back west and getting into some adventures like this. Cheers Casey

Im not a breakfast kinda guy but what you fixed up looked pretty good and something I'd probably go for! Maybe sometime whenever we run into each other in town...I'd like to maybe hear your thoughts on some of these old trails and mining camps. Looking at getting into this type of stuff...but at the same time don't want to just jump in and disturb the trails, like you I would like to leave just as I found it. Also as soon as the gravel maintained roads come to an end...its a challenge to get Denise on board to continue the adventure, even though there is clearly a trail or road still ahead. I will be working on that with her..lol. Our next adventure is heading out by Walton Lake. There's some things I'd love to check out out that way.
Anyways great episode as always! 🤙👊🌲

I bought a pie iron but have yet to season it. I've got 3 trips this fall scheduled so its on my list to do and then try some yummy stuff. I can't use one of the roof top tents because I have dogs and they can't climb down ladders, up might be iffy but trainable. Soooo for now we tent camp and I have a hammock set up to for backpacking but that will only be with no dogs or just the border collie. Anyway, wish you were closer so I could come to one of your meet ups but alas I'm an east coaster for now! Thanks and have a great day! Oh and what butane stove was that? But my AT through hike is on hold so I'll just continue to camp from my Jeep in the mountains of western Maryland for now... and hang the hammock set up for practice until then! Can't wait for another adventure to watch!

I'm always amazed at the food you cook when you are camping. Have you considered doing a compilation of you recipes in a cookbook? 🤣 I wish I was out there. But couldn't do all the hiking you do. I really enjoy you videos.

Great content as always. So what was the primary reason these places were abandoned, lack of gold? Or other resources? Down south its mostly gold rush remnants and boom and bust towns that followed the gold. We also have the talc mines and copper and other wwII mineral mines to explore.

With all the hidden areas you hit out there, it would be fun to place some kind of 'Easter Egg" on some with a date on it and your initials, maybe a golf ball or something like that. Either you find it later, or someone else finds it and wonders who it was that left it there.

Love your vids man. Always look forward to them. I just had a 2.5 inch old man emu lift with massive rear springs installed in my Nomads 2013 Rubi with new 33 inch Toyo tires all round. Feels completely different. Off to the mountains tomorrow for a few days then camping at Port Renfrew on the beach on Vancouver island for a week. All the best to you!

I love the Chanel and your a great story teller and great at making these videos Casey! Man you do such a great job. I have mixed feelings about the products you share because of the ridiculous amount of money they want for it. Over landing is a huge thing now and folks need to know that tons of equipment is way way way overpriced. That front runner utensil set is probably 5 times more expensive then if I just went out and bought a descent set. It’s ridiculous how much these company’s charge. I chuckle because no one ever talks about the price when doing these videos about these products. I’ve made it very inexpensive for myself to adventure because I don’t have deep pockets. Dollar store works good for a lot of camp stuff and works great for one time use and will take me 100 times to pay for all the trendy products.
