I don't understand majority of these languages, but I just love how Russian and Chinese decided to avoid literal translation and adjust the lyrics appropriately to their language, unlike Turkish

Norwegian and Swedish really rocked this song! Catalan was a shock as I'm not used to seeing anything dubbed in Catalan that isn't made by Disney or DreamWorks
TokageSan How about Pokémon? The first two seasons of Pokémon was dubbed in Catalan.
@@cupofjoe6654 I had no idea Pokemon was being dubbed in languages like that, I thought they were only being dubbed in your basic languages like Castilian and Latin Spanish, European and Brazilian Portuguese, Taiwanese Mandarin, so on
TokageSan Pokémon has been dubbed in the uncommon languages too like Icelandic, Arabic, Croatian and so on. To see all the versions of the 1st season intro, check out my video: ruclips.net/video/exqyzf51Vis/видео.html. Some languages like Icelandic and Arabic only dubbed the first season.
@@cupofjoe6654 If I remember right, Icelandic is one of the newer languages to start dubbing (at least from a Disney stand point) Is the Arabic dubs difficult to come across like Disney Arabic dubs are?
TokageSan I don’t know. Pokémon was dubbed in Icelandic and Arabic in 2000. Only the first season and first five movies were dubbed in Icelandic because of low popularity. Only the first season was fully dubbed in Arabic. A controversy in 2001 claiming that Pokémon encouraged gambling and that the show itself had Jewish reference shut down the show’s production. However, another company continued dubbing the anime from Season 2 until Season 7, with most of it (except the intros and ending credits) being dubbed in in Arabic before stopping completely in 2005. The only thing that has heard of the Arabic dub since was last month when Mewtwo Strikes Back - Evolution was released internationally on Netflix, which has officially been dubbed in Arabic since the anime is still available on Netflix in Saudi Arabia.

Why does the middle part of the theme sound wierd in some langauges?
Canadian French dubbed the show, but the theme song was leaved in European version
I was curious who sang the English version of the intro and I couldnt find it but Trents voice actor sings the Polish version

As a romanian who has never heard the english version,it sounds so bad to me honestly,like it's just not as catchy for me
That’s fair. Things tend to sound weird when you hear it in another language besides your own. I’ve been learning languages and recently and one thing I’ve learned is to keep an open mind and try to hear it as a language and not some sort of weird throat condition. Still funny to listen to though. Haha

Cause the sentence "i wanna be famous" in italian dont sound good for the song, translated is "io voglio essere famoso", the word be in Italian is very long
@@matteoronzani6587 honestly I’d like to see how they could make it work. I’ve listened to enough music and there can always be a way if you want there to be. (It’s not too sound pretentious, just thought it would be cool to hear. Beyond the random sound effects, song sounds fine as it is.)
