Hey Lazy, I want to actually check out the site that you advertised but you didn't show a link. I would like it if you would help me out here. Oh, and nice video by the way.
I know people really like the Cherry vanet alt-mode for ratchet and ironhide, but I feel like they could totally go with a more modern ambulance alt-mode for ratchet, and then change it to an armoured truck for ironhide. I just think they go better with their personalities than a van and a van with red stripes that make it go faster.
I wonder if you may be able to answer this question. Obviously being brand licensed by Nissan, I'm wrong, but.... My whole childhood, I thought this was the Toyota "toaster" van. The one with the engine under the driver's seat? We had one, as a kid, and I gotta say, my Ratchet next to that van, was absolutley SPOT ON. My dad even repainted Ratchet silver, with a white grill, like our van was. I rode in that thing all the way from clt NC to Key West, a half dozen times lol. It was macked out like a conversion van, with a fold down bed, a table, fridge, all that, but in the foot print of like a corolla lol
It's really a shame they couldn't do better with the Earthrise Arcee mold, in concept it works great but in practice sadly doesn't. I feel like Lifeline's blaster is probably a tranquilizer to stop pain. But heal gun works to.

@Silly Dave It’s weird. Ever since RID 2015 ended (with the exception of the Beast Wars babes, Cyberverse Arcee and Cyberverse Clobber), it really feels like Hasbro/Takara have been slacking on their female Transformers. The whole Moonracer limb-bot debacle, Siege Chromia being show-inaccurate in vehicle mode, and the pathetic display that was ER Arcee… it’s a miracle that Airazor and Blackarachnia turned out as good as they did. Side-note: The Paradron Medic, Lifeline, while a fun nod to the G1 cartoon, was needlessly crammed into an exclusivity deal for a figure many of us have been waiting for since we heard an ER Ironhide was a thing. Ultimately, I agree with all the criticism levied against this figure and it’s distribution. Overall: An excellent video, from start to finish. So recently I remembered something very interesting and very ironic: Earthrise is very well known for making almost everything out of clear plastic, and most figures did that where there are windows, except this one. Out of everything that could've been clear plastic in the entirety of Earthrise, they chose to make Ratchet and Ironhide's rear windows with opaque plastic. HOW?
Well, on the bright side(Not including the whole shellformer concept with that Arcee mold), at least it does expand the medical side of the Autobots, right?
I have a theory that, when teletraan one scanned new vehicles for the transformers, it selected the nearest one with a similar shape or function to the original cybetronian alt mode and tweaked it to accommodate a giant robot, which is why a lot of transformers vehicle modes don't actually resemble any real vehicles. Also, I think the window shins look great. I don't know why, but I always like it when the back or side windows form the shin or forearms respectively.
Well that goes out the window when you realize Wheeljack was a van on Cybertron large enough to carry a pancaked out Bumblebee alt mode, then on Earth he has an alt nearly the exact same size as Bumblebee's. And also the Tetrajets. And also Jazz. I think this kind of headcanon would work for WFC, but that storyline didn't show us how transformers take new modes.

18:57 It could be a healing gun. Medics like Ratchet and Lifeline use medi-guns and in Transformers Earth Wars, but they tend to be much bulkier than that silly little glock. Oh, plus, they aren’t single fire, they’re actually beam weapons that have to lock onto allies to heal them.
The ER ratchet mould being exclusive really sucks. It’s ironhide, ratchet, and a shatter glass ratchet the first 2 are amazon exclusive which are usually out of stock or super marked up in price and the shatter glass while it is a selects (ebgames for Canada) it’s is sold out.( I was able to get a preorder when it first came out I wasn’t letting that 2 pack slip away). But ratchet and also skywarp are only exclusives which really sucks cause if you’re collecting a G1 cast there’s a good chance you will be missing these 2 characters which is bad (I think Earthrise is like 40% exclusive which is outrageous)
I was one of only a few people that actually got the Earthrise Ratchet pack. Most of these that were made, went to the bottom of the ocean when that huge shipment of stuff from China was knocked off of the ship carrying it. Lots of people forgot this. Mine arrived, but had two of the same arm. So it couldn't fully transform into the Van without help. I've debated on modding the figure permanently so it would fully transform. For now I've been taking off the arm and placing it in the open cargospace in the van mode where the pegs wont hit anything. For anyone who hasn't yet figured this out... His weapon can be pegged into the roof piece while in alt mode, AND when the roof is folded up and placed on his back. It sits neatly into the space between the folding windows pegged on its side.
@@_V.Va_ Hasbro chose to replace all the Haslab Unicrons that were lost before they did anything else. So there was either a delay in receiving those OTHER figure sets, or they were cancelled, and people were refunded their money. Hasbro and Tomy couldn't just do everything all at once. They had to prioritize.
Hey everyone it’s General Waluigi here! Thanks for the shout out Mr Eyebrow and making me somehow a part of this great video. Sub if you want and sorry for the nightmares the Purple Monkey Dishwasher has caused you. :)
Earthrise Ratchet's pretty neat, though unlike Ironhide, I don't seem to be attached to the idea that he was just a Vanette acting as a makeshift ambulance. Being a G1 latecomer as a kid, I always thought he was an outright ambulance like his later incarnations. Earthrise one would be more common at this point, but I feel like I'd want Siege more, since there's more room to mod to make it more ambulance-like. Tools are a nice bonus, though.
"So what's this all about?" "It's what I feared... prostate cancer. And it's advanced. I'm sorry, Prime, but you're going to die." Once upon a time you were using Legos and the like the make props for your figures, but now you're making really good use of your 3D printer. Nice. lol (And yes, BE proud of the backdoors/feet that you printed. VERY nicely done.) Wait, Ratchet was a WALLGREENS exclusive? Who thought that was a good idea? "What is this, a HEALING gun?" Sure, roll with its transparent plastic and repurpose it for any number of medical uses. Is it a soldering gun? Some kind of vaccine injector? A voltage meter? It could be ANYTHING. Batman's sworn off never mowing down his enemies, but his arsenal for crime-fighting is LOADED with guns of ALL sorts, especially in the Arkham universe.
I read that supposedly the Earthrise modes came first and the Siege ones were the afterthought. If that is true for Ironhide and Ratchet, the budget had to have been the issue... they make millions off us and they have budgets that can't get stuff done correctly? I like what you have done for the feet. If I knew how to design and had a 3D printer, I would use the ports in the feet to add a section that could become more shields when not in vehicle mode... door shields... but eh! They could also attach to the vents/thrusters on the roof. I am not one for replacing parts or customizing my figures and if I do I have to have a factory version. It stinks Ironhide and Ratchet are sold out exclusives and they aren't packaged alone so I won't be able to get second ones cheaply. I can add to my figures though and still have them be factory. I loved the opening skits and I am amazed by what you do! Also for some reason your Lifeline shows as a Chromia blue. She looks good like that but Chromia might not like.
Naw, the Seige modes definitely came first, or at least on Earthrise Optimus it did. On Optimus his shins have a vestigial trailer hitch on the outside in truck mode from seige, as well as Ultra Magnus's Earthrise figure a complete afterthought
I totally understand your frustration for getting stuff, or rather, not getting stuff. We Brits have just started referring to these figures as "American exclusives" because we've been unable to get, well, about half of Earthrise here, it's doing our heads in! I really hope whatever comes after Kingdom is shite because collecting official Transformers is no longer fun, it's an over expensive chore. Appreciate your videos though, I really enjoy them!
After missing out on dirge and ramjet I have pretty much kept up with transformers news and wind up pre ordering Amazon exclusive or any other exclusive once they are announced sadly I didn't do that for Ironhide and Prowl and missed out on them but have gotten both the boisfera and paradron sets
Regarding budget: I know it'd be much harder due to scheduling, but Hasbro/Takara should design the earth versions and get them within budget first, and then make Cybertronian versions from there. Then they'd have more freedom to take shortcuts and use the Cybertronian excuse.
I can't wait go get the Earthrise Ratchet (somehow lol) it'll be great :) and with your feet upgrades as well! Although, I think I'm gonna swap heads with Siege Ratchet. Just something about his head seems better to me
Looking at one of your older vids where you reviewed your classics ironside, my god you've improved, your custom work used to look aweful but now it looks really good now
It's like, they didn't up his budget to leader because they ran out of budget for the feet, wheels, and better paint apps (That had to be planned at one point in time, cuz the shoulders line up perfectly to have the cross.) but then they made it so you could only get him bundled with a toy you don't want for $10 more. I'm sure it's like, they figured that they could only have x number of leader class figures, and I assume there's some kinda budgetary reason that the earth mode retools of the iron hide mold always has to be bundled in a $60 package with a deluxe, cuz iron hide is similarly bundled with his 86 film tragic death scene mate, prowl.... But like, A: I hate that I have to buy iron hide and prowl at the same time, and B: I definitely would've bought a leader class ironhide/ratchet if it came with the new weapons, the siege weapons, and all the aforementioned stuff. Actually, what they could've done is kept the siege feet, and made an even bigger gun sled that went on the roof, then wrapped around the feet, and we all would've complained, but it'd give us a nice big g1 gun sled... I dunno, it just seems like there were better options that would've been more profitable for hasbro than what they wound up doing.
You probably don't care as you don't care for the figure, but one could easily image Lifeline's 'gun' is a tranqulizer gun or such, like the hyposprays Star Trek had. The roof being a shield is a holdover from Ironhide (who being a bodyguard a riot shield makes sense) but I can see people using it as a stretcher. That is what some versions of Movie Ratchet did with the cargo rack. Personally once I get ER Ratchet (hahah that abbreviates to e r ) I plan to have Siege version in it's 'open' partial transformation that looks like the sled, and use it as a medical slab.
So, my stance on this has changed and I'm okay with getting Earthrise Ratchet, especially since I do ultimately prefer the aesthetics of the robot mode....though that probably has to do with the ironic fact that Siege Ratchet's aftermarket prices are inexcusable. Ironically, the SG Ratchet is being sold solo for how much Siege Ratchet originally retailed, so I got that and just have to repaint it. I'd wanna try dying it to minimize paint, but I'm even less confident doing that. I still wish I got Siege Ratchet so I could execute my take on an ambulance cabin shell add-on a guy inspired by you did, but scalpers sadly have shot that idea as much as Ratchet was shot on the shuttle.
ER Ratchet can kinda get away with the back section. It's umm... a umm.... OOH! A wheelchair/stretcher entrance! Yeah! On Ironhide it's... umm..... A wheelchair/stretcher entrance! Yeah!
This is a great review,Lazy Eyebrow! I bought the Earthrise/Galactic Odyssey versions of Ratchet and Lifeline off of Amazon.com over the summer and the set arrived a few days ago to my house.
12:00 While I will agree in saying the front of the car mode is better, the legs are exposed on T30 Arcee. ER Arcee's car mode could've been sculpted better, but at least it is complete.

But ratchet and also skywarp are only exclusives which really sucks cause if you’re collecting a G1 cast there’s a good chance you will be missing these 2 characters which is bad (I think Earthrise is like 40% exclusive which is outrageous)
Your work is only improving at every step Lazy. Big love and appreciation from one of your oldest and most steadfast subs.
Kup: "I think it was Hot Rod!"
Hot Rod: "Me?! Why me?"
Kup: "Because Optimus is dead."
He does have a valid point
Once again it’s Beverly because why would a medic have a tool name
Nitro shogun because they're robots and they fix each other
Ratched
That actually happened? The shipments falling into the ocean bit?
@@_V.Va_ Hasbro chose to replace all the Haslab Unicrons that were lost before they did anything else. So there was either a delay in receiving those OTHER figure sets, or they were cancelled, and people were refunded their money. Hasbro and Tomy couldn't just do everything all at once. They had to prioritize.
It’s even funnier how the logos are from the KO. Sam logos for KO devastator
Same ko company made these too haha
Hey everyone it’s General Waluigi here! Thanks for the shout out Mr Eyebrow and making me somehow a part of this great video. Sub if you want and sorry for the nightmares the Purple Monkey Dishwasher has caused you. :)
It would have made more sense if ratched got paired up with ironhide rather than a blue arcee
In Transformers War for Cybertron videogame was healing grenades, and you say the healing pistol is strange, which was also there.
Repainting Wheeljack i see, good on you
19:04 Dk Rap starts playing
"So what's this all about?"
"It's what I feared... prostate cancer. And it's advanced. I'm sorry, Prime, but you're going to die."
Once upon a time you were using Legos and the like the make props for your figures, but now you're making really good use of your 3D printer. Nice. lol (And yes, BE proud of the backdoors/feet that you printed. VERY nicely done.)
Wait, Ratchet was a WALLGREENS exclusive? Who thought that was a good idea?
"What is this, a HEALING gun?"
Sure, roll with its transparent plastic and repurpose it for any number of medical uses. Is it a soldering gun? Some kind of vaccine injector? A voltage meter? It could be ANYTHING. Batman's sworn off never mowing down his enemies, but his arsenal for crime-fighting is LOADED with guns of ALL sorts, especially in the Arkham universe.
No joke, I actually thought Ratchet is going to tell Optimus he has prostate cancer in the intro.
Soldering gun gave me a good chuckle NGL haha
@@reynaldipangestu259 well i didn't want to completely rip off RC haha
@@TheLazyEyebrow
No no, that'd be an HOMAGE, not a ripoff. 😋
I just got my ER ratchet and I found out unofficially that you can take the gun and place it inside the shield for vehicle mode cohesively.
I loved the skit at the beginning! your channel is truly a hidden gem
Thanks! 😁
"Marb of Shockticons"
Huehuehuehue
0:17 wow, the pull up noise!! 🤣
damn nice job on the wheeljack, that figure is looking clean
I totally understand your frustration for getting stuff, or rather, not getting stuff. We Brits have just started referring to these figures as "American exclusives" because we've been unable to get, well, about half of Earthrise here, it's doing our heads in! I really hope whatever comes after Kingdom is shite because collecting official Transformers is no longer fun, it's an over expensive chore.
Appreciate your videos though, I really enjoy them!
Okay, now I want an entire short of the Autobots in Among Us.
my set was just cancelled. I got the notified about it right when you uploaded this. This just makes me want this set even more. lol
Oh noooooooo!!!!
I also received an email from Amazon today cancelling my order. After 2 months of having it on pre order.
@@nonamenoncents6143 sorry about that bro. Amazon sucks with pre orders.
-_-
After missing out on dirge and ramjet I have pretty much kept up with transformers news and wind up pre ordering Amazon exclusive or any other exclusive once they are announced sadly I didn't do that for Ironhide and Prowl and missed out on them but have gotten both the boisfera and paradron sets
Mine is coming late
Ur paint is getting better and better, I need that wheeljack
would love to see a episode where its just bots and cons doing a live action among us like episode
Your work is amazing!!!
I have to say the process of your video was super cool!
My son thought the stop animation and your paint job was great!!!
The keyboard in the opening skit is upside down.
Thanks for the awesome review and for the new website picking up a new optimus for my collection
That's an effing great Optimus Prime-voice!!
"Tell me doc, how bad is it?"
*takes off glasses*
*takes long sip of energon*
*puts glasses back on*
*pulls up clipboard and exhales*
"It's not good."
Regarding budget: I know it'd be much harder due to scheduling, but Hasbro/Takara should design the earth versions and get them within budget first, and then make Cybertronian versions from there. Then they'd have more freedom to take shortcuts and use the Cybertronian excuse.
Damn someone hire this guy to do Optimus on Netflix!
Name: Ratchet. Basis: Nissan van ambulance. Motto: “If you can break it, I can remake it.” Faction: Autobot.
17:43 Ratchet- I'm a healer. But....
12:03 The car mode for Legends and the robot mode for Earthrise
I get why you used blades and streetwise as imposters, it's because they're knockoffs.
Ha I love the first part with the stop motion
I can't wait go get the Earthrise Ratchet (somehow lol) it'll be great :) and with your feet upgrades as well! Although, I think I'm gonna swap heads with Siege Ratchet. Just something about his head seems better to me
Note to self: avoid Earthrise Arcee
Looking at one of your older vids where you reviewed your classics ironside, my god you've improved, your custom work used to look aweful but now it looks really good now
Your Optimus Prime voice is so good, and the Among Us skit was awesome. I love how they immediately threw sus on Hot Rod because Optimus was dead. 😂
I always love to watch a new and old video of lazy eyebrow
Awesome review and awesome upgrades/customizations! I'm surprised you didn't give him red hands like he had on the 80s cartoon.
ER Ratchet can kinda get away with the back section. It's umm... a umm.... OOH! A wheelchair/stretcher entrance! Yeah! On Ironhide it's... umm..... A wheelchair/stretcher entrance! Yeah!
Optimus prime: "can you well stuff on this website"
Jazz: "yes you can"
Optimus prime: *looks at hot rod and humble bee* "Y E S"
That is the best Optimus prime voice acting
This is a great review,Lazy Eyebrow! I bought the Earthrise/Galactic Odyssey versions of Ratchet and Lifeline off of Amazon.com over the summer and the set arrived a few days ago to my house.
Love your stop motion videos
12:00 While I will agree in saying the front of the car mode is better, the legs are exposed on T30 Arcee. ER Arcee's car mode could've been sculpted better, but at least it is complete.
Oh my u know the pream's true form too
