I live in LHC.. those 'docks' are fishing piers and there are 28 or so lighthouses, all are scale replicas of other famous lighthouses. There's something to do or see all the time and I hope it stays that way!
I’m just catching up on your back catalog. Love your channel and all the trike content! I wanted to see if anyone caught on that you were passed by Dexter Holland (lead singer of The Offspring) in that Citation. Note the livery on the tail. Cheers!
Wow! We had now idea but we noticed the livery on the tail. Thanks so much for letting us know!! So glad you love our channel. We just uploaded another video today. Cheers
Thank you. If we buy a boat that’s where we want to go. Be happy you take you out on it. We watched your touching video about your daughter. What a miracle! Thank you for sharing.
Beautiful video once again Diane. What a beautiful trip that must have been. I didn't realize there was that much water up there! Looking forward to the next Larson's Adventure.
We constantly fly in thermals year round as Roger enjoys using the free energy. We have not made it north of Cottonwood and Payson yet but hope to soon. What do you fly?
@@larsonadventures580 Nothing yet haven't decided what to buy need instruction also been a avid RC pilot for years. I probably will go light sport due to hassle of passing a class 3 medical I have been working on some health issues because I wanted to go the PPL route so I could have access to rent. I live near KDVT the only light sport I have found is over at Glendale. I have heard that trikes are not fun in bumpy air seen a few videos where people say that. I don't know if they have a low tolerance to turbulent air some say it's exhausting to fly in that kind of conditions. I don't understand what that means is it just uncomfortable or is it applying lot of movement to the control bar and it's exhausting to keep it under control .
@@Mike-01234 It can be exhausting if you stress out and over control in bumpy air rather than going with it. Roger would be great in talking to you about everything regarding trikes. We live near KDVT too and are on their hangar waiting list. We love flying out of KBXK but would like to be 5 minutes from our house sometimes too. We met a trike pilot who bought our friends Rick's wing and he said he was out of KDVT. Walt is out of Glendale. Then several of us out at KBXK. You should come out sometime. Great group of people. If you want to get to talk to Roger email us at larsonadventures88ZZ@gmail.com with your contact info...
@@larsonadventures580 That's what I thought about the comments I heard regarding turbulent air it's more about fear and trying to fight the controls although if you slow down some the airframe should be able to handle the stresses. Friend of mine has a Cessna 310 at KDVT parked under covered parking been up with him a few times what I don't like about KDVT is if you have a problem not too many places to set it down safely. I agree Buckeye would be lot better place to fly out of lots of open space to set it down safely. We live at 7th st and Greenway not too far. I think my price limit going to be about 30-35k for an aircraft probably not enough for a evolution. There are other options in those prices ranges to get into flying a trike. THanks for Rogers email I will reach out when I get little closer to figuring out what my path is. Wife wants me to finish a few other hot rod projects I have in the works before starting a new hobby.
Hi Ramon. Our total round trip was 439.4 miles with 6 hours 52 minutes of flight time, but that included our sightseeing around the lake and taxiing too.

We have about 4 hour endurance on a single gas tank. Thanks so much for watching!
Do you quit flying here in the summer due to the thermals and rough air or go up north flagstaff area?
