    I felt empathy is something you were born with. I’m a Super Empath. I can feel someone’s pain. I will wake up in the middle of the night & that person is on my heart. I will start praying for them. When Israel was attacked, I cried & cried. I just wanted to take the families, especially the children under my wing. I had no idea someone needed to learn empathy. I seem to pick up on someone’s pain, I’m drawn to them. I’ve been through so much also. A book or movie, as well as music, affects me. Even a cartoon movie brings the tears rolling. I’m a very detailed person as well. Another thing I’ve noticed, I can be out in a store etc, people will start a conversation & pour out their private situations. This just amazes me. I can always relate to them & feel their pain.

      That's really interesting. I'm sort of the opposite. I dont have the ability to feel emotional or sympathetic empathy. Cognitive empathy I do have though. So I can recognize others emotions very well, and I also understand why they are feeling the way they are, but I do not feel their emotions myself, not do I have the urge to help them. Now you might think I am a bad person for not caring, but I dont think I am. I firstly cannot control or learn to care, because that deficiency is due to an abnormality in my brain. But since I was raised to be kind, I will still help people in emotional situations simply because it is the right thing to do. So I don't think that makes me a bad person. I can imagine what it is like feeling everyone else's emotions, and that would exhaust me! I hope you find a way to live with all those emotions!

    Found the visuals a bit distracting but the quality of the content is excellent. Well researched and expressed clearly. I put on my headphones and just paid attention to what was being said rather than the visuals. Thank you for a wonderful video. Will be putting some of these to use that I feel like I have forgotten over time. In a world where being distant is a norm now it takes away from our basic reactions and emotions.

    I feel we should pay attention to our surroundings. A kind word can make all the difference in the world, to someone that is having a ruff day. I feel we are to make a positive difference in another one’s life in any way we possibly can.

    I need to have less empathy. I would be much more happy if I didn't feel sad for other people I don't know.

    I also can pick up on someone is not someone you want in your life. Everyone asked me, how did you know he was a scoundrel ? Lol (my daughter’s ex) I couldn’t explain it, I just knew. She wouldn’t listen to me, & he was really bad news. I hadn’t even met him & there was something about the way she talked about him that made me feel, there is something off about this man. As soon as I met him, it was like a neon sign saying BEWARE ! This one is definitely BAD NEWS !!!

    Do people with high empathy practice what they preach and take these approaches and try to put themselves in a low empaths life. I have seen some truly horrible things said about people with low empathy. I just didn't see how one can you be empathetic only with other empathetic people.

      4 doesn't work. I have been reading novels my entire life, and I don't have much empathy. Rather, read autobiographies because those are about real people.

    • @turntech4776
      @turntech4776 Год назад

      @@human7491 you don’t get it from reading novels, you consciously choose to emulate the behaviour of a hero from a novel. Which should supposedly be the behaviour of someone empathetic

    🛐🙏❤facts💓❤💕❤❤💖❤💞❤♥️💗❤❤❤💕❤💖😭Heavenly Father JesusGod, I know that I am a sinner. I know that I deserve the consequences of my sin. However, I am trusting in Jesus Christ as my Savior. I believe that His death and resurrection provided for my forgiveness. I trust in Jesus and Jesus alone as my personal Lord and Savior. Thank you Lord, for saving me and forgiving me! In Jesus Mighty God's holy name, Amen!"
    💗❤❤💞This Gospel message if you continue to believe this message, you will be saved: For I delivered to you as of first importance what I also received: that Christ died for our sins in accordance with the Scriptures, that he was buried , that he was raised on the third day in accordance with the Scriptures, and that he appeared to Cephas, then to the twelve. Then he appeared to more than five hundred brothers at one time,

    Your opening makes empathy sound undesirable. "Experience the world as they experience it". I know a woman that was kept as a sex slave from 4 to 18 years of age that was tortured among other things. I care for her but i don't want to experience the pain, and humiliation she did.

      Just think of it more as trying to understand how those experiences affects her decisions and reactions to certain things that happen to her and thinking of what you would do if you were her
