韓屋の美しさは開放感にあるんじゃないかと思います。しかし、冬には寒くて生活に不便さもあります。
したがって、韓半島の北部、中部、南部地方によって形態が少しずつ異なります。
北部地方は冬の寒さを避けるため閉鎖型が主流で、南部地方は痛風と暑さを避けるために1字型にすることが多かった。
