Montblanc Safety No. 1 fountain pen - Restoration

In this video I restore a Montblanc Safetey No. 1 fountain pen (Sicherheitsfüllhalter).
The fountain pen was produced between 1920 and 1929. All parts, except the nib (14 carat gold) of course, were made of black hard rubber.
The hard rubber has turned brown over the years and formed a dull slightly rough surface.

Hi, I reconditioned the fountain pens for a customer. That would have been quite a lot of money otherwise. :-D

@@henryschroer3813 dafür gibt es spezielle Stifte. Schau auf eBay nach "gravur auslegen", dann findest du die Stifte in verschiedenen Farben.

Was benutzen sie zum reinigen und polieren der Feder?

Hallo,
ich benutze Wenol Metallpolitur. Vergleichbares wie Autosol funktionieren natürlich auch. Wenn die Feder dünn beschichtet, ist nehme ich nur Wasser und ein Silberputztuch.
