I remember seeing these guys in a standing only , max capacity like 300 venue when I was like 15 in like early 2000's .. These guys are class acts , they play hard and interact with the audience . Love these guys

I didn’t hear of this band until around 2015 or so but they are amazing and I would love to go see them. I’m 37 now and I used to love punk and still do. Rancid was one of my favorite bands so I’m really surprised that I didn’t hear of them until them but I’m glad I came across them.
Great to hear pieces of Tim's old vocal casually slipping out. This singing technic is probably safer for his voice, considering his age

RA are comming to Chile and I'll see them in the side show on march. I know Tim doesn't have the power in his voices like other are telling here. But this is a band I been hearing since 2007-2008, and I'm happy that I'm going to see them performing alive in my country for a third time.

The 2012 Hurricane set is probably still the best theyve ever had but they are great at this festival. Wish they did it more often so more tours had a recorded version on youtube
Prayer of the Refuge as the opener, that is a message right there. One I agree with and am saddened and angered it is necessary.
Rise Against is one of those bands that are frustrating to listen to live, because you know the potential is there, but they just don't get in a proper groove. Band isn't together, it's choppy, etc. But being in the crowd you don't notice it quite as much.

I love Rise Against so much, always did. But I got to say, what the heck is it with that way of "talking" out the verses more than singing it? I mean clearly you've got the voice, that's not the issue. You are all capable of doing it properly, but then he decides to sing this way... Sometimes it's cool to do so, of course, but this much, on so many classic songs. I mean, I would personally like to hear it as it is recorded. Still props up for still rocking the stages!
They're getting old, man. To get up there and play a hour and a half long set must be super exhausting. Tim's voice has taken a lot of damage over the years and he was probably pacing himself. I know it sucks but that's just how it is when you get old.

satellite is such a runner... but funny how he needs to speed up dramatically before singing, and in general a tad too fast but still amazing. and when crowd joins in and he has that small smile on his lips

I saw them live for the 2nd time at Resurrection Fest in Spain and it was fucking perfect. Slightly shorter set to Hurricane Festival.
Love RA. Hate when singers start singing like this live though. Id rather hear him sing it normal.
They Killed it best show of all time, just like a show from the 90's if U can remember that far back when Metallica killed it.
I'm gonna see these guys twice in February and couldn't care less about Tim's voice as long as himself and the band put in the effort ❤

Hurricane has THE worst sound technicians. Every time the audio mix is just subpar. They find a way to let the best bands sound awful

Re education as an example-what happened? Looks like he had a bad day, last year it was much better. The crowd seems to take a nap too, for parts🤷♂️
If you like Rise against then maybe check out Four Year Strong. They’re a pretty decent band in this style but like Rise Against they have their own touch to this style.
They unfortunately do not have normal live signing( the vocalist rushes somewhere and loses 50% of the sound
Tim I think had vocal issues around 2008 and blew his voice out because he never learned to scream properly, so I think he has to be careful live to not overstress it.

Some people are talking about the drummer but I’m pretty sure the signer is the one always off tempo. Each time he finish a line he rush in a bit to fast on the next one. Drummer should not follow him and force the signer to follow him. It’s really sad, this band is great on tape but bro.. live is worst than linkin park and system of a down. Minor threat was probably tighter than them

I used to be a really big fan of these guys, and I'm sure I'll get crucified for this but I can't be the only one who thinks they involved too many politics.
Absolutely, it’s the same with other political bands like RATM. The idea of “fighting the power” by being famous musicians and endorsing politics inside the very system that they’re supposedly fighting. It’s completely stupid and hypocritical.
Maybe it is just me, but the drumming in "Ready to Fall" sounds not good....
The timing is wonky across the whole band. The vocals are not good here either.
Saw them at the bottle neck in Lawrence KS supporting Thursday I believe. 15 or so years ago. God I'm getting old.
Just cut give it all at this point, he can't do it live anymore. The rest of the set Tim was solid.

Tive o prazer de ver o primeiro show no Brasil em 2011. Foi surreal. Um dos melhores dias da minha vida. A energia da banda toda estava a mil. Mas não vejo mais essa empolgação no Tim. Parece que ele está cantando triste e sem vontade. Que pena. Infelizmente uma grande pena.
É o cansaço da idade. 44 anos nos couros e uns vinte de carreira. Para uma banda de hardcore - que demanda muita energia - ele está ainda bem kkk.
Legal é o Brandon que sempre toca rápido e energicamente, mas é mó quietão e parado kk. Minha inspiração de baterista.

Bro Tim sounds better than ever here idk what you are talking about. 2010-2017 he was truly shocking live but the off time during Covid really helped him and it’s so noticeable.

Rise Against songs' are hard to sing man! Imagine having to give lots of concerts singing those kind of songs!
Rise Against was my absolute favorite Band back in 2008-2010. But I must admit that they are truly an Album-Band. Now I prefer to hear other bands at festivals, that actually sound good live

Tim's voice has been shot for the past 7 or so years. He definitely doesn't sound good live at all, but their concerts are an awesome experience regardless. The fans just wind up singing the songs anyways lol.
i thought it was just me.. but it also feels like they´re sometimes not in sync with one another and his singing performance is okayish i guess, but on record he sounds so much more powerful!

J'ai l'impression qu'en fait ça devient de l'usine la musique il n'y a plus de contact avec les groupes et les groupes n'ont plus de contact avec le public. Il faut arrêter de coller les gros morceaux collés devant comme des CRS et écarter la foule de 10 mètres de la scène. Bien sûr qu'il faut toujours un minimum de sécurité mais faut arrêter à tout écarter comme ça limite ils joueront la prochaine fois avec des gros panneaux en verre comme ça on les verra mais on pourra même pas les toucher. OÙ EST LE ROCK'N'ROLL ???

@@DJ4C0_YT I’ve seen them like 5 or 6 times now and it varies. He’s definitely older and can’t sing as well as he could 15 years ago, but that’s part of aging. Saw them in 2021 and it was still a fun time.

Les scènes sont toujours trop loin c'est casse burnes il y a plus aucun contact on dirait limite qu'il y a un écran et que le public est dans son canapé j'ai vu un truc comme ça ... j'ai vu un concert de Iron maiden même sur les caméras on les voyait pas les mecs ils étaient limites à 20 m de haut sur la scène et le public était à 50 m devant et on n'arrivait pas à déterminer où était la scène et le public on aurait dit un parking rempli de monde et c'est tout par contre c'est tellement un putain de bon groupe

Well they don't seem good live. The songs don't hit as hard as the recorded versions. So soft and passive.
