Thank you so much for showing a better way to deal with cauliflowers. The desire to work to long on an area that you think is still wet enough is really a temptation.
I came here to learn how to create those cauliflower edges, love them! Looks beautiful and special.
Thank you. I now know how to resolve undesirable cauliflower edges
Superb tutorial on water distribution and how it can disturb the evenness of pigment unintentionally
This is the best explanation ever,,,I think its finally sinking in to my brain,,gosh,,I must be pretty hard headed!! Tx Eric!❤
I m not good on watercolours. Can’t control the flow of it. Thanks of this wonderful demonstrative video.🙏🏻👌🏻
This was one of the best instructional watercolor videos I've seen on RUclips. Thank you.
Very helpful! I have never before understood how cauliflowers happen.
Thank you Eric, for explaining the cauliflower problem so well! I added your page to my "subscibes" as you do such a good job of explaining why it happens and how to fix it if possible.
Thanks for this helpful explanation on cauliflower edges.
Wow ! What a perfect tutorial on a common, frequently vexing problem for many of us beginners. Thanks ever so much.
This was such a clear and well done explanation, I finally understand what's happening with my cauliflower edges. Thanks for the video :)
Thank you so much for this video. I am working on this problem with understanding this and your constant feedback is very helpful.
Thank you Eric. Great video on dealing with and avoiding cauliflower edges.

Love your sky and clouds! Beautiful work.
So well described and organized!
Thank you, clear and helpful video.
Thank you, Eric ❤ Very helpful… not an easy skill but necessary to master 💖
Thank you! This is very very helpful.
Your skill is so amazing to me. And I learned so much about what I’ve been doing wrong! Thank you!
This was a great video. I learned so much! Really loved your painting.
VERY helpful, thank you!
Thanks! Well done video that will help many of us!
Thank you so much 😍 I really appreciate it
Thank you so much for sharing your talent!
Thank you Eric,
Great video and very good advice. Now I understand why happened and how to fix it.
Your tutorials are very good.!
Thanks for explaining this, I've been stumbling into this so many times and all my misguided attempts at fixing ended up making mud.
Did you know, using a reduced palette of only three pigments eliminates the chances of getting mud at all?
I'm here to learn how to create cauliflower edges, not remove them. See how you can work with it, instead of considering it a "problem". Watercolour doesn't do well with perfectionism and ocd, so let go and have fun! ❤
Excellent help Eric....many thanks
Wow, so helpful, thank you so much!
Beautiful, thank you!
Thank you so much for generously sharing your experience. I am new to watercolor and have learned so much from your videos. Particularly liked the bonus painting. Such an elegant demonstration of how you resolve problems in the middle of a painting.
Very helpful Eric. I love listening to your explanations and always learn more by watching your demos. By the way, i also always enjoy the graphics of the Cafe Watercolor intro😊
Sooo helpful! Thank you 🙏🏼
Many thanks for this useful video.
I've had to deal with this problem with acrylics too. I learned to go over the area with a dry brush to blend the cauliflower edges into the regular paint.
Very informative, especially the more nuanced aspects of painting with watercolors.
Very helpful, thank you!
thanks, very useful tutorials
This has really helped me cos you explained why I get cauliflowers I never u understood before. New sub🤩
Grazie. Io vivo in Toscana ti aspettiamo a bracce aperte. Elisabetta
Thank you Perfect teacher
Thanks, Eric...i quite enjoyed the harbour painting, it was kind of magical (to me) how the clouds and sky worked...also, thinking about light to dark, i think that i miss out the multi-layered approach to waterm and even how it works in ship's hull. Always a pleasure!
thanks for the explanation.
i'll try to check my way again
Thank youuuu!❤
Thanks Eric!
Just awesome
such an amazing watercolor vid from a great channel glad to see more from Eric again this video fixed my issue I've been having with cauliflower edges in 20 min were was this 20 yrs ago when I started struggling with this media would have saved sooooo many paintings xD
Super info!
This vdo help a lot , thank you.
Good job!
Excellent. Always helpful. Do you have any sessions in Seattle?
Thanks
Very helpful. My paintings suffer from a lot of cauliflowering. However, I'm quite unwilling to go over some washes because I've got some nice shapes by lifting paint off with a tissue and I worry that I cannot replicate the same shapes. 😂

Thanks!
Beautiful painting.!
You are very good at explaining things. Thank you.
I really appreciate your video and now I know what to do when I get unwanted cauliflowers. I have to mention that when looking at your painting it looks like you have two cauliflowers at the very top in the clouds, were they intentional?
Beautiful! What kind of pencil is that? Thanks!
❤ Eric Oxfordshire uk
What about the cauliflower in the upper cloud, can it be fixed after it dried ?
Can you also show a few ways how to _not_ fix cauliflowers? Oh, wait, I can come up with that myself. Trying to blend the edges, trying to lift, trying to blow back the moisture, etc...
I'm here to learn how to create cauliflowers. Love them! ❤
@@mikesamovarov4054 Good for you! 😋
How do you deal with cauliflowers once they’re dried?

@@mikesamovarov4054 It’s a legit question - and nothing to do with OCD or perfectionism. If you don’t know the answer, or prefer not to answer, just say so. Don’t resort to unfounded assumptions about a person.
If it's dry there's not much you can do but accept it 😅
However, if it's in an area that you'll paint darker value on, you will just cover them up no problem.
Wow…. So helpful! Thank you!
Thanks!
Thank you so much! =)
This is very helpful. Thank you!
