There is nothing wrong with MAC. They are still innovative, intriguing, and inclusive. I just purchased every new product they dropped. I love them, and I will never buy anything else. ❤❤❤❤
My opinion as a fresh MAC employee: Other makeup brands will come and go, but mac ist still a power house for creating trends and is still an iconic brand for make up lovers and are reliable hight performance products, big product ranges/inclusivity. And additional to that, they are trying to give you an experience as a customer with makeup artists selling the products/giving you advice and protocols for that to replicate it all across their stores. Employees also get social media training for content creation so they know how to share their creative work (not limited to mac) and inspire other people. And they are encouraged to participate in trends with really cool rewards like beeing part of these big events and fashion shows where your favorite celebrities and influencers are also at. The challenge is the rise of online shopping and the general economics with inflation, I bought my first mac lipstick for 21,50€ and now they cost 29€. Consumers are not pleased with that (but they still buy it).
@Elegantglow1 its not new. They've been known for being rude to customers for decades. Personally I've never experienced it but others have. They get paid either way and never get punished. Also countless people have experienced racism asians, Africa Americans Indians etc all have dealt with racism from them.
@Elegantglow1 they are very popular and the number one cosmetics company. Even if they treat you like shit they know they will still make money because they are/were the number one make-up brand. They think they are above their customers
i’ll always love mac. one of the first brands that got me into makeup. but their vast price increases have been prohibiting me from buying as much as i would like to from them. i hope they’ll continue to innovate and offer a high standard of products, without increasing prices too much more 😂
The video forgot to include that Toskan's brother in law was a chemist that was instrumental in creating the products. It wasn't just a DIY. They had an expert with them on the creating of the products as well. Also, MAC created Russian Red specifically for Madonna. She was a fan of Mac and its Ruby Woo but wanted a more intense shade for her tour that will last since she will be performing.
I’m gen z and I agree that recently mac has been seen as outdated by some of us, but I’m still getting my birthday present there because I love the way I can rely on the brand’s quality and that they have almost every lipstick shade possible. I’ve been a consumer for eight years now, been wearing mac since middle school!

They're sale representatives are notoriously mean, according to people who have dealt with them in mac stores.
What's the sense of having sales rep if they'll just be so mean. Is it a new marketing strategy?

I love their lip textures and colors. Even the new liquid lipsticks. But their price is very high… I wait for Macy’s sales
Who doesn't want sale and save some money?

I've been hesitant to look at their stores because of the prices. I'm with you hahaha
@@Elegantglow1 it’s scary lmao
🤣🤣🤣
Nothing wrong with MAC. Better quality than some more expensive lines. Influencers want everything handed to them for free just to give a shout out.
I love their glow play tinted lip balms tho
Their lip products are very popular.

Much better than other celeb brands

Hope they update their products soon to stay significant. The brands quality is still good regardless!
Not once was it noted that Estée Lauder owns Mac that allowed it to expand and grow its distribution.
Thanks for the info!
What went wrong: Estée Lauder
You guys should do your research
Madonnas tour was “the blonde ambition tour”

The music is so distracting
Oh! I'll do better next time. Thanks for the comment
It's quiet and can barely be heard.
I agree it’s unnecessary and annoying.
@@Elegantglow1the music is perfectly fine, don’t worry about it!
