    Sick I honestly think you’re one of two people that covered these on RUclips
    Yeah I’m super stuck between the kabuki and the A3, price is no option and I want the most aggressive Knurl possible
    I was worried the kabuki wasn’t that aggressive for that price
    Thanks man, you’ve been helping me out a crap ton

    Yeah these are on my list if they pop up somewhere. If you are price conscious I really like the Baresteel Equipment Iron Skull power bar in Cerakote in that $300 range and there are some discount code out there to get 10% off.

    How are you still feeling with those bars? I’m really torn between the 2x or 3x. Hate to regret not getting the 3x but also don’t know the level of awesome grip vs being uncomfortable as a daily driver bar.

      Thanks for the question, I was totally wrong… we use the 2x more often. It’s the perfect balance of sticky and grippy. 💪🏼
      We do use the 3x still as well, just the 2x more often.

    Great Video. I have the 2xAggro Power Bar and i used the BLack Zinc Power Bar before. I use the 2xAggro for Squats, Bench and Deadlifts and i just love the bar. I have been using the bar for nearly 6 months now and the grip is perfect.(for me) I think if you have been using a normal rogue power bar before and you like a more aggressive knurling 2xAggro is a good choice.
    The 3xAggro Power Bar is unfortunately not available in Europe atm but i would love to get my hands on this bar as well.
    Have you used the 3xAggro Power Bar for Deadlifts?

    • @TheFarrOutpost
      @TheFarrOutpost  Год назад +1

      We have used the 3 for deadlifts… I wouldn’t recommend it at higher weights because it will remove skin as you drag it up your legs, but for low weight/high volume stuff it was fine.
      I’m glad you like the 2… it’s such a great bar.

I am looking to buy one Rogue bar for my home gym which can be used for all and i see in Facebook marketplace now for 250$ a good deal as its like brand new. Can you please give me your suggestion

    Hi , i have a fringe sport wonder bar more than a year now , and sense i got it i was very disappointed by the knurling its passive. And i really want an aggressive one . So would you recommend for me the 3x aggro to use it on an intensity day and the other one i have on an volume day?

  • @ExpeditionaryRanger
    @ExpeditionaryRanger 2 года назад +1

    Good sir, how do I decide between the SS OPB and the 2X OPB, as one bar to rule them all and hand down to the kids??? I currenlty have a B&R 2.0 and it's not aggressive enough as the weight is increasing on deadlifts. Is the SS OPB enough of a step up, or should I just go 2X OPB? So hard to decide. I'm in a remote location in Canada so no chance to try before buy, and returns are nigh impossible. They will run me ~$900 to buy.

    • @TheFarrOutpost
      @TheFarrOutpost  2 года назад

      Both are great bars and neither are sharp. I’ve owned both with no complaints. They will also both be much more grippy than a 2.0. You can’t go wrong either way. 💪🏼

    • @ExpeditionaryRanger
      @ExpeditionaryRanger 2 года назад +1

      @@TheFarrOutpost Thanks for that! Much prefer the clean, unadulterated finish of the SS OPB. So on that note, is the OPB grippy enough, for say, four plates and no chaulk? Or would you recommend pushing to the 2X? I wish they had done non-cerakote-d version of the aggros.

    • @TheFarrOutpost
      @TheFarrOutpost  2 года назад

      @@ExpeditionaryRanger the grip area is stainless steel and not Cerakote covered on either. So that’s no issue. We don’t use chalk, so I can’t speak on that.

    • @TheFarrOutpost
      @TheFarrOutpost  2 года назад +2

      @@ryanjensen2586 for our bars, once you take the 3 out… they are all really similar and you aren’t really taking aggressive anymore but rather sticky (if that makes sense)
      TPB most pointy but only 28.5 mm
      Kabuki best feeling
      Agg2 good stick
      Opb, Clydesdale, Rep SS PB (all basically copies of the opb knurl)
      I have never tried the Rep deep knurl and I know there are a few new players out there claiming crazy aggressive knurling but we haven’t tried them so I can’t speak to them.

      Oh I see what you mean. You DEFINITLY have a collection, I saw your other video just now.
      Would be curious to know how you felt about the rep deep Knurl people seem to like that one. However, I am doubtful it would provide anything interesting to you since it seems like you’ve got a good spread. I haven’t tried any of these aside from the OPB so I very much appreciate your opinion to help me with my purchases.
      Is the Aggro 3 okay on deadlifts in the 5-8 rep range or is that pure torture?
      I have thick callouses too and I am older so we might have this in common.
      Thank you

    • @TheFarrOutpost
      @TheFarrOutpost  2 года назад +1

      @@ryanjensen2586 you definitely do NOT want to deadlift with the 3… you will shred your legs.
      We use it for pressing days, bench and overhead.
      You could throw it in for Pendlay rows and curls but, dragging that up your shins and thighs will be brutally painful.
      Bottom line if you are looking for an all around bar get the Chan. If you are looking for a big three bar go opb. Buy the 3 after the Chan, Transformer and the kabuki dl bar. 💪🏼
      Hope that helps.

    Rogue bars are too expensive, IMO.
    I own zero Rogue bars and I have all Great bars. U could always buy a nice barbell from REP, Fringesport, etc. for far less money and equal quality.
    I see all the Rogue stuff so it looks like U buy Rogue but I am just saying REP has equal quality stuff for much less money.

      I Beg to differ.
      Do U really believe Rogue steel is of better quality than what REP uses? It's not, Rogue just wants u to think it is and that's why u will pay the jacked up Rogue prices.
      I like Made in America too but I'm not paying inflated prices for an American product when I can get the same piece for half Rogue's proce.
      To each his own
      U buy a 20K Rogue gym and then I buy a 20K REP gym. After we have finished I will stay around 5-8K to buy more stuff.
