"Is Fury good?" Lol I feel that. I've been a B&M hater forever but Fury just doesn't feel like any other B&M. It's actually forceful and chaotic, which is still wild to me a week later. Still, any RMC is more forceful / has stronger airtime.
I have felt just like u and coastertoons and then I have to remind myself that how the ride looks doesn’t mean it won’t have amazing forces.
Orion is the only b&m that I like, and I still think that phantom's revenge IS RUNS CIRCLES around Orion. So hopefully fury is better... I like banshee too
Fury is no Carolina Cyclone though.
Wait a B and M hater or a person who likes other rides more because B and Ms are the most perfect GP rides and they are fun to I like both intamins and Rmcs more but I still really enjoy b and m
Nemesis at Alton towers (uk) is amazing ride by B&M , went on it 11 times back to back years ago still one of my fave B&M's.
Do not underestimate Fury: it’s easily one of the most intense B&Ms out there. It also gets the award for “most fun ride”, or at least that’s what I think
Best steel coaster since 2016 taking over millienium force
That’s the award
I think that Raging Bull is pretty high up in intensity but I’ve never ridden fury so I have nothing to stand on
@@pumpkinboy1128 fury is really intense and the first drop is insane
It's definitely the most fun coaster ever
Fury definitely fooled me. It doesn’t look like it’s going that fast but it feels like your on an air craft carrier low to the ground those turns might not look like much but when your going 95 mph even the most basic elements are intense.
"Babe, wake up! Coastoons uploaded a new video!"
lol funny
Lol
I literally thought it said 11 months ago that’s how surprised I was
Fr
I’m wide awake
Lightning Race is a lot of fun when it’s warmed up with full trains! I rode both sides at night and the trains were full and it was fun battling the other train throughout the layout. Maybe the footage Hersheypark took of it the day of filming it was first day in the morning, or it’s just the way I remember it, but I had a blast on it!
i agree idk why people hate it so much
Ejector is just upsidedown hangtime.
I think you mean right side up
Hot take- dollywood's coasters are just ok except lighting rod...
I really enjoyed my time there but was not blown away by really any of them
Fury is every bit world-class, you owe it to yourself to get your butt down to Carowinds and marathon that beauty! It's breathtaking and intense as hell yet as re-rideable over just about anything I've ridden, it's that good! 👍🤘🔥
Hot take: RMC Top Thrill Dragster. Considering it’s doing nothing currently, I would really like to see this happen. :) Just leave the steel structure and put some wooden track on there and done! Definitely a top 10 coaster for sure…
Seems 100% plausible
Well, it probably wouldn’t be called RMC would have to be called CMR
Fury is absolutely amazing. I don't have a ton of credits, and carowinds is my home park so maybe I'm a bit biased. That being said, Fury doesn't just focus on speed and gracefulness- it has some incredibly intense moments and is packed with airtime even outside the ejector hills at the end. The treble clef throws some incredible positive g's at you before giving one of the greatest lateral airtime moments ever (if you aren't stapled). Don't underestimate it, I really hope you get a chance to get to carowinds and experience it for yourself. Great video btw! I hope to see more hot take vids in the future.
Fury is very very good. Doesn’t feel like any other BnM. It’s another airtime machine but in a league of its own when it comes to that type of ride. It just is.
I feel like high speed turns are the one thing besides airtime most enthusiasts base their thoughts on a ride off of.
The first turn on Rita is probably better than any inversion I experienced on the smiler tbh.
Fury is really good. What is honestly surprising about Fury is that you get small moments of floater on the transitions in and out of the turns. I think this is related to the wing seats on the train having some rotational momentum, which is technically using centrifugal force on those transitions from curve to curve to drop the seats on one side of the train (something that Millie isn't going to get with 2-across seating). But yeah, it has airtime in moments you don't expect whilst it's moving at a blistering pace. Honestly the first out section to the treble-clef is better than the airtime hill sections on the second half of the ride, because you are moving so quick, getting quick pops of floater where there really shouldn't be any between the positives and high speed, and then it all builds up to a long moment of sideways floater where you drop under a bridge. Yeah, Fury is good, and I personally prefer it (slightly) to Twisted Timbers.
I think intimidator at carowinds is better then fury….or maybe im wrong I’ll see in 2 days
@@Daniel_Coasters Fury is WAY better than Intimidator. Honestly thought Intimidator was one of the more boring hypers.
@@noname117spore Ok that's your opinion, but it depends of the row, whats the best row? In my opinion Intimadator is best in the back, and fury near the back is not that good. And i will need to see on Wednesday
@@Daniel_Coasters Front row wing seat is definitely the best on Fury.
@@noname117spore ok ill try that
Man, I absolutely LOVE your delivery in these videos. I am always cracking up. Always thought provoking as well. Keep doing your thing Coastoons.
for me i prefer lightning racer because it’s extremely fast and fun for me, but however hershey is my home park so i commonly go with friends and race them on it so it’s naturally gonna be higher for me, also comet always gets a huge line where there’s rarely any on lighting racer
I’ve rode both Fury and Twisted Timbers and Fury is by far the better ride. It has my favorite drop, the floater is good, the pacing is perfect, and you just feel so badass on it. The overall experience of Fury is just phenomenal. It’s just a damn near perfect ride. Twisted timbers is also amazing but it isn’t even close to being as good.
they could be more motivated to relocate gold strike just from the cost of wood and carowinds need a modern woodie
oh and i asked someone who’s ridden gold striker , they said it is smooth for a wooden coaster but ruff for a steel … so they said it’s a good type of ruff.
Lumber is currently about half what it cost 6 months ago, thankfully
I really like these hot takes videoes because I sure learn a lot about rides I haven't heard that much about and it's nice to always be able to follow along even if you miss something and don't notice it because you're real tired and just wanna relax and watch Coeastoons with the slight expectation of falling asleep at some point
I sure hope to see some more hot takes in the future!🔥
Let’s get this Man to 40k Subs!
Fury is quite smooth after riding it, surprisingly, and twisted timbers it's like steel Vengeance, its throwly fast with some neck jobs but both pretty good coasters
I road mille and fury in the past month and I came in to fury not expecting it to blow me away and damn did it just shut me up lol it’s a B&M with crazy ejector hills it’s wild
It is weird. I hope it lives up to the hype. The Ohio gigas are like nice, relaxing rides.
Fury 325 is the best b n m on the planet ..great speed great airtime ..nice long ride
ive been waiting for this video for ages! glad its here
I think it's easier to become a fan of inversions than a fan of airtime--the first happened to me far, far earlier. So being a fan of strong airtime identifies you as a coaster enthusiast, which is why it gets used as a tribal marker.
There are a lot of things like this. My hottest hot take is that I think enthusiasts rag on Superman: The Ride's restraints far more than is actually justified, because it marks you as someone who knows about the old T-bars.
Hey bro I just wanted to say I’m really new to coaster but I threw myself into the deep end with fury 325 and I lived it so I’m and enthusiast now, atleast as much of an enthusiast I can be seeing as I’m a noob yo coaster, and your by far my favorite Chanel, keep it up
Could you collect some of the takes on RUclips along with other platforms you are on? That will allow you to get more and find other good ones.
Really hot take: lap bar+shin guards > lap bars
I’ve been riding fury since the end of 4th grade and I still love it!
I would say the issue with most rides at CGA is they’re all old and if CGA does make it to that 11 year mark everything except for maybe Railblazer will have far exceeded the end of its service life
They're not gonna make those 11 years last. I feel like this park will be gone in less than that. Give it another solid year of people rushing it and cashing them out before they start removing rides.
I suspect they're going to start cannibalizing sooner rather than later, not necessarily waiting until the park closes. The big candidate being pulling railblazer which is new and can fit almost anywhere (small footprint + cool).
Also Hagrid kinda has the same vibe as verboten, both amazing
They should move gold striker to decently big park and then rmc it or just retract cuz it’s a really layout just super rough like every time I go on I get a headache
when i seen that second cold- i mean “hot” take it made my face bunch up☠️☠️☠️
Please fo more of these. They are very entertaining.
I enjoy these hot takes videos alot. As a suggestion though, if you make another one can you read the hot take out loud? I like listening to videos at work so I was kinda guessing what the hot take was sometimes by what you were saying lol
You should come to Six Flags Great America in Chicago. We have some pretty wicked wooden rollercoasters like Goliath.
I really hope Flight Deck finds a new home. One of the best b&m inverts I've ever ridden. Amazed at how smooth it was for it's age (2nd invert B&M ever made after Batman), but that age also concerns me that it might not be viable to continue operating at a new park if it's nearing the end of its service life.
Can't wait to watch your apology to Fury video some day
Magic Mountain is the GOAT of theme parks
Railblazers track is welded together instead of bolted making it significantly harder to relocate, I doubt cedar fair would spend the money instead of just building something new
Fury’s turns give crazy ejector and laterals can’t judge on a pov lol
Yes fury is the good every time you switch direction your turning you get airtime
finally a part two
Dude the most genuine fear iv felt on a coaster was comet at Hershey, was in the back row and was for sure I was gonna be a pancake on the ground, shit threw me to space, like I put my hands down and grabbed that buzz bar lmao
Whenever u do ride Fury front seat for speed and back for the airtime snd your mind will literally be blown. If u get a chance, stop in at SFOG and ride Goliath, it's one of the best Hypers even with its baby rattle (it adds character)
I like the hot takes videos you definitely should make more
Hagrids is my number 2 or one can’t choose with pantheon it’s just so good I know it’s a family coaster but those motorbikes MOVE and idk why but while velocicoaster felt forceless hagrids felt out of control and pulled great forces
i just realized that velocicoaster broke down when I was riding it during the mosasaurus roll and I didn’t realize it until now
this guy has the best background music of any youtuber no 🧢
I guess one of my “hot” takes is leviathan > millie
Coastoons will agree that
Millie is ass
Hi just wanted to say if the park your going to this summer ends up being Carowinds, You need to ride fury in the front row. Most people like the back row but in the front row you feel like your going wayyyy faster than 95mph. I have been 15 times this season and fury never gets old and is a top 5 coaster!
*”Speedrun thru cga coasters”*
Proceeds to rant about flight deck at king’s dominion for like 3 minutes
Fury is good, really good. It doesn’t look like it but it has strong airtime, a really good first drop. Ride it before you start judging it
The series I thought was dead… it’s back bois!
Please do top 10 20 or 30 coasters in sweden
How cold was it when you rode lightning racer? I went early last week and it was ripping through the course. I also didn't think Wildcat was that bad, but skyrush was terrible, so maybe I'm just wrong.
you need to ride some more coasters boi
I'm the oddball that says TT is way better than Fury. The greatest ejector in the world, so insane, you twist and turn in so many directions. You feel like a ragdoll, and I CAN'T STOP laughing on it. Fury doesn't do that for me. If anything, the intensity hurt my brain when I rode it. 😅 Still top 10 though, absolutely.
And Mako is top 3 in Florida, a million percent.
It’s definitely not the greatest ejector in the world
Well F325's first drop levels out so fast that it pulls enough Gs to derive your brain for oxygen causing you to gray out
Hot take:
Maverick is the best coaster in Cedar Point
I’m going to Carowinds at the beginning of next month on my way to Myrtle Beach and I’ve been constantly asking myself “is Fury even good?” Because the Ohio gigas are relaxing to ride imo. I’ve heard it lives up to the hype but I guess I’ll find out for myself.
Lightning Racer is running really slow in the POV. I've been on it, and it usually runs quite a bite faster
I had the same mindset when I first rode fury but now its my #1
“Why would they scrap a whole park?” *cough cough* Astroworld *cough cough*
I have ridden twisted and fury and I prefer fury slightly and here's why.
1. The ride feels like it never ends
2. All the hills are ejector at best and flojector at worst
3. It somehow gave me airtime on the first low to the ground turn, I don't know how
4. Unlike millie, which I have also ridden, fury brings the positives
5. The ride has good whip
I swear I can recognize almost every song in the background being played
Like at the hagrids part it’s Durag Activity by baby keem
Need a part 3 asap
I wen to cedar point last week. Magnum was actually nothing compared to valraven, gatekeeper, and mille. Steel vengeance was my favorite out of the whole park, but I maverick was closed so that’s a bummer.
RE: Railblazer: *Does he know?*
I can promise you that lightning racer doesn’t run that slow once it gets running 😭
When the world needed him most he returned…
if you haven’t already made a video on roller coaster vocabulary, then you definitely should
iron gwazi is the best hybrid hyper coaster I’ve been on and I’ve been on zadra and steel vengance.
Watching while waiting for the Spider-Man nwh rerelease post credit sences
yay new video 🤪🙃
I totally agree with the inversions are better than airtime. I love hangtime on rides. I don't ride RMCs for the airtime. I ride them for the inversions. I just kind of put up with airtime. It's not that it's not fun, but I just don't like that feeling I get on airtime moments, especially because no matter how comfortable the restraint is, my thighs always end up hurting on aggressive airtime moments. My home park is Magic Mountain, and all my favorite rides have the most hangtime. I love Full Throttle for those 3 or 4 seconds where you just get to look over everything, upside down from 160 feet up. I like Twisted Colossus not for the first drops or the camel back or the double down, but for the zero g roll and the Top Gun stall. Heck, as much as I hate Viper, I still ride it because of the hang time in the second half. Even Revolution can be fun if you know how to ride it (don't try the things I did to make it interesting)
Love your videos. Twisted Timbers vs Fury 325 was one I’d have given to TT just a few weeks ago. Then I rode Fury in hot summer weather and the airtime difference from the Fall blew me away! It had the back of my shirt stuck halfway up my back!
Still a very different ride but if you can combine that kind of airtime throughout with its speed and that first drop, you’ve got something special. Fury wins.
hey coastoons, i reaally want to start my own roller coaster youtube channels but i dont have any ideas for entertaining videos, do you have any advice for me? thanks!
another banger
i dont know how your not at 1 mil subs yet
You’re my favorite youtuber
Poor Cannibal, everbody forgets it is a hyper
Ok so, on the topic of relocating CFGA coasters I could 100% see the raptor MAYBE going to MI adventure. It wouldnt be a direct investment plus its small and cheap so cedar fair could maybe throw that park a bone and send it there. I dont know how likely it is, but us michigan enthusiasts can dream…
Regarding how you feel about Magnum, I just got done with a trip to Kennywood and I can definitely say that the Phantoms Revenge TOTALLY SHITS on Magnum. And I love Magnum but... its definitely not a top 2 hyper, personally I think phantom's revenge is probably on a level below steel vengeance but better than almost any other hyper. THAT AIRTIME IS SO INSANE.
6:00 rust fishing shop music lmao
I have a feeling that the next “Ultimate Review” video is going to be of SF Magic Mountain
i completely agree with flight deck being relocated at kd and replacing anaconda
honestly, twisted timbers to me is almost as good as fury just cause i fucking love ejector airtime. but idk if anything can beat furys first drop and the treble clef thingy
Your the one making me want to be a coaster youtuber coastoons also when you do part 3 is yukon stricker at Canada's wonderland better then millie
Alrighty Coastoons have U ever been on The Smiler?
Iron gwazi is definitely a classic
5:15 My money been longer than a Nascar race
I swear every video music selection is good
Trust me I've been on fury a ton of times. I have been on velivicoaster as well and I can say that I think Fury is as good or better than velocicoaster
And the best coaster at kings island
Hot take: it'll be good for Cedar Point to remove Top Thrill Dragster, actually.
Comet is an underrated gem
not anymore. try riding it with those terrible seats, even worse operations (they had opening weekend operating with ONE TRAIN mind you)...sorry to say but that ride got completely neutered
Hot take: Maverick is the best coaster at CP
I can see gold striker get relocated with the price of wood now.
Airtime on the back of the bus on a speed bump > steve
Hot Take.
Mountain Coasters Are A Credit.
Vid 3 of asking for a six 6 Flags New England reviw
