I know how you feel when you say you miss mom. There's a lot of knowledge and experience in there that we haven't built yet. I know for the dried mushrooms, there's one pack that says "orsis" or "ordos" mushrooms on it. That's the one to get. Very fragrant. Tried other ones and they weren't as good. Another tiny tip, get the ice cream bars and other frozen stuff last, so they don't melt as quickly during the shopping. :) Happy Durianing 😅 And yeah, I like the longer ones. To pick dried shiitake mushrooms (冬菇), my mom always said to pick ones with better looking crack patterns, haha. Also the Japanese brands for the mushrooms tend to have higher quality/stronger flavor mushrooms.
People in NorCal like to say Ranch 99, not 99 Ranch. Selecting food at supermarkets such as anch Ranch 99/99 Ranch has always been easy, even though I have shopped there many times.
Haha! I still call it 99 Ranch because I grew up in SoCal but now I live near this 99 Ranch where this was filmed. Watching these, I feel I need to brush up on my Canto! Every now and then I hear a word I don’t know! You guys must have brought an ice chest to go shopping! 😂 I visit my friend in Monterey sometimes. It’s quite different down there than here! Did Z like the durian smell? 😂 I have never purchased one! Can’t stand the smell!

As for the differences in the thumbnail, you didn’t remove/blur out Ranch 99. This could refer to Ranch 99 or the durian.
