His speed and first step is crazy. Potential is very high
He's def getting more comfortable; not freezing up after mistakes and such. Still being aggressive. This is a good indicator.
Yeah hopefully he can make the leap in year 2
If he can just figure out how to finish once he gets to the rim, he’d be unstoppable. He’s so quick and explosive that he can basically get to the cup whenever he wants. But he misses almost every time his shot is contested at the rim. Whether or not he winds up having a successful career hinges on whether or not he can figure this problem out. Because he can do almost everything else; shoot the 3, shoot the mid-range (though he needs to become more consistent), defend, pass, etc. Hopefully he makes a big leap in year 2 cause if he doesn’t, I don’t think he sticks around for very long tbh.
@@bballer191 he made leaps for sure on defense and contact drives.
Been Waiting for this one. He’s my fav player
Same bro same.
Let’s not forget he missed a good portion of games due to his MCL Tear, he’s going to be even better and make the right decisions next year. 💯 I have high hopes for this kid.
Wesley Will Be Good Next Season
If he gets his efficiency up, he is gonna be a great player.
If anyone else did that play with Luka it would be a top 20 play
He very much looked 19 out there, but holy moly does this man have jets in his feet he moves so fast in transition and his defensive upside is huge. I can't wait to see how he develops
Blake Wesley, if you're reading this. We see you :) that was a fun game you showed last night. Keep on improving. Go spurs go!
Convert Wesley into a full time point guard!
Mycareer for sure
I like him starting or getting heavy mins because of his ability to play better offense and defense then Jones
especially in the steal category
Wembanyama Vassell Wesley Branaham Sochan
Still so raw but man he's fast. Probably top 10 in the league in speed when driving straight to the rim. Unfortunately his % near the rim is horrible, and hopefully he can pick up a couple moves to help him finish efficiently. His 3pt FG at 38.5% is highly encouraging, though it's mostly catch-n-shoot and small sample size, but still good enough to stretch the floor.
He makes some really nice passes in transition and while driving to the lane, but struggles at half-court offense which I think can be chalked up to lack of experience. His potential as a defender is through the chart, being able to navigate through screens and stealing the ball without fouling. Needs to get smarter when it comes to off-ball defense and communicating with teammates.
Overall I think he has the really high potential (behind Sochan and Wemby) to become a very impactful player, but it hinges on his ability to score efficiently near the basket. That's the only thing holding him back.
I feel like his ceiling is higher that dj
I wonder if he is as fast and quick as Tony Parker was?
Hope he stay at san antonio wemby need him
This man is quick. He can get to anywhere on the court at will. He just hasn't figure out what to do after he gets there. lol But when he does everyone needs to watch out!
It’s crazy that he’s the worst rated nba player. Shows you how hard it is to get into
Plays hero ball
Man, people called me crazy when I said Brahman was a lottery pick and Blake was at least top 15. This isn’t even fair. SA robbed the league 😂
