    This is awesome I just got a digital 6 plus for my pro street vega. Very excited for the update over my 25+ year old 6a box

      I really like the digital 6 plus box. I like that it has all the extra features so I wouldn’t need to add extra boxes to do those parts. Hope it works well for you too!

    Got a question if im replacing my HEI distributor with an msd pro billet going with my 6al-2 box do i have to take that module thing out of the msd pro billet distributor also the same way you have to with an HEI distributor

      lol, yes I’m a Sasquatch! But with the inner fenders removed, it makes all the under hood activities so much easier. Also, when editing, I laughed at that too. Hope you enjoy my new videos coming out soon! 😎

    Do you need a 6v ballest resister for coil ? Or just put 12v to it ? 🚩

    ok so i am looking to add this to the list of parts to get for my 93 suburban 454 v8 what do i gain by doing so ? i am also getting a top end kit for it for more airflow

      Running a full MSD setup is like I have is mostly for the adjustability and better spark control for racing.

    How do I know what model msd distributor I have...need to replace rotor and cap..hard time starting

      You will need to look for the part numbers for your specific distributor.

    Quick question, I plan on mounting my Digital 6 Plus box in the same exact spot as yours! I drive my car on the street, so if it rains will any moisture or water ruin the box?

      I,m about to install the same MSD 6 setup ,but I,ll be draping a piece of inner tube over the top of the box,on fire wall , to deflect any possible water . As well as shrink taping where the wires go in the box . Debating whether to use rubber grommets between the box and firewall to decrease vibration .

      @cecil sabourin Awesome idea! And definitely use the Rubber shock Absorbers between the box and Firewall for the 4 Bolts! They sell them specifically for the msd Boxes.

    Really enjoy your videos. I've got a couple of questions about your truck, some things I haven't seen mentioned on your videos. Assume since you have a transbrake you are running a Turbo 400, what converter are you using and what is the stall. Did you ever run the peanut port heads on either the 396 or 454? How much ET difference do you see going from transbrake to foot brake. I'm finishing a peanut port BB swapped Camaro 81Z28 that i'm going to foot brake. Since the car is heavy like your truck building a high torque combo. Keep the great videos coming.

      Yeah I’m running a th400. I wish I woulda did a build video on it, cause it’s got a bunch of really trick parts on it. I’m using a converter built by a local shop, Durabuilt trans here in Jackson, MS. It’s a 10” stall, and on the trans brake it stalls at 3800. The 396 had it’s good heads robbed off, and had peanut port heads. They are ok for truck work, but severely lack when you wanna go fast. I have only done N/A testing foot vs TB, and it’s about a .3 faster on the TB. Now, my setup is honestly junk. The engine is a legit stock camper 454 bottom end, with 8.2:1 compression, and a 454 LS6 replica cam. I threw it together cheap to have fun till I can put together a legit motor. It’s fun though, and has been 1.54 60’ and 7.13 in the 660’ with a 150 shot.
