      Hi there, i think you missed in putting the vanilla essence at the recipe. It should be 1½tsp right ? For the eggs, large eggs is ok ?

    I made these again. This time I made them gluten free for my step daughter. She loves them. I used 3 tsp of vanilla. Gluten free needs the added vanilla. I also dipped some in melted chocolate. Delicious. Thank you again for this great recipe.

    GUYS ! I just tried this recipe today and its soo delicious. Maybe Ill cook it a bit longer(im using stove top oven) 14-15mins. because mine turns way lighter in color, I prefer it a bit brown. The cookie is so soft. not too sweet, its just at the right sweetness. Currently refraining myself from eating cause Ill use it for Banana Pudding.

    I made these wafers and it turned out amazing. One think to keep in mind though please freeze the piped cookies for good 30 mins . Cuz the batch I baked soon after piping kinda spread and the one with frozen batch turned out perfectly nice and tacked it’s shaped . I baked mine for 15 mins .

      Hi Audy and welcome here! Powdered sugar is icing sugar, not castor sugar. Yes, you can use normal powdered sugar and add some more vanilla (you can read the written recipe in the infobox under the video). Let me know how they turn out and send me a picture on Instagram! Much love

    Hi.What is vanilla powdered sugar?Is it icing sugar with vanilla?

    • @HowTasty
      @HowTasty  3 года назад +1

      Hello and welcome here! yes, it's icing sugar with vanilla flavor; if you can't find it in your Country don't worry, it's not needful; you can use regular icing sugar and add a splash of extra true vanilla extract to the dough. Let me know how they turn out! much love

    Where does one buy vanilla powdered sugar?

    • @HowTasty
      @HowTasty  5 месяцев назад +1

      Here in Italy you can’t find it in every supermarket; but if you can’t find it in your Country, you can simply add 1/2 tsp extra of vanilla in the batter, here more info: www.how-tasty.com/nilla-wafers/

      Hi madhu, I've never made them eggless. You can try to add some milk to substitute the eggs until you reach the dough consistency you see in my video, and also add 1/2 tsp of baking powder. But It's just a try...

      Hi Fatima! If you rightly followed all my steps recipe, it could depends on your batter consistency. It was softer than mine? If your cookie batter was softer, you need to add a bit more flour. Anyway check out the written recipe in the description box, so you can rightly follow it. Let me know! Hugs
