8085 freeco speeder is so forgotten it didn't even make it to this list 😭. I got it for Christmas back in 2010 and loved it as a kid but man it's so culturally irrelavant among the lego star wars community I haven't seen it even mentioned on youtube in like 10 years. That set deserves some love and recognition.
Ironically, I feel like enough people have pointed to the Wookie gunship as a set that “everyone forgot about” that it isn’t quite forgotten anymore… everyone remembers it because it was forgotten about.
Kind of surprised something like the Twilight (7680) wasn't included in this list, or even one of the technic sets like the Super Battle Droid (8012) or Droid Developer Kit (9748).
Tho Ninjago is the only one that got REALLY popular. An entire generation of lego fans basically grew up watching that show. LEGO was never this successfull with their Star Wars based shows.
Honestly, I kind of think Tracker I from Freemakers is quite underrated as it looks quite similar to a TIE Phantom. When I played X-Wing back in the day, that was my favourite ship to field, so I kind of have a soft spot for it. I get it though: the other Freemakers sets (other than the Eclipse) were average at best.
The Sequal set "Defense of Crait" seems pretty well forgotten too. I mean I had one heck of a time tracking down the best minifig piece from that. The Poe Dameron hair piece with headset. I got it for a friend to give his sigfig a good gamer headset.
Shout out to what I feel is an underrated gem, Han Solo’s landspeeder from the Solo film. It’s like a land speeder built by a sports car enthusiast. Spoiler on the back, sporty finish to the front that has really cool detail where the other front side is completely exposed looking like the body work with the blue paint finish came off. The range hoods on the removable hood really help make it look like the speeder has some horse power. The removable hood has a detailed underneath with a space to hold spring fire missiles, a fully built engine that can be removed, and a coolant tank. The back has a blue fuel tank that can be pulled out. The interior has plenty of space for 2 and has a very nice finish. It puts any of Luke’s land speeders to shame imo. Just way cooler. Many more play features. Like a JDM inspired Star Wars land speeder. Built by Han, who fixes up the Falcon to be one of the fastest ships in the galaxy, so he’s clearly an engine head who would probably value having a sporty, souped up speeder to cruise around in. As far as land vehicles go, it doesn’t get much cooler than Han’s land speeder meets sports car
@ there’s some others that aren’t talked about and haven’t really since they were released. Tie crawler is one of them. The limited edition home one calamari star cruiser set is also like that. The newer Skyhopper. There’s many that fly under the radar. I can guarantee the pirate snub fighter will be forgotten about. But I like obscure sets like that. Especially if they are cheap and have cool minifigs and builds.
that bounty hunter arc is one of my favourites so i do love that starhopper set, its niche tho like in the show it was the ship they stole from malhutta i think
I’m pretty sure the wookie gunship was from an arc of the clone wars where ahsoka gets captured. The second episode of Rebels revolves around captured wookiee’s, but this ship didn’t show up in that episode
Lego know what they are doing regarding the sandspeeder and rebel pilots in general. That dark red helmet is that of red four from the battle of Yavin. It was also the same with the generic snowspeeder microfighter pilot it had a light blueish grey helmet that of lieutenant Lepira from gold squadron. They put an exclusive helmet In a random sets on an unnamed pilot as most rebel pilots have the same torso and face print.
The bounty hunter ship is cool great figures I just remembered that Aura sing was in that set (cuz I put it with cade bane speeder to do like in an episode of clone wars)
i did watch the Freemaker Adventures, it's not as bad as you may have heard, you don't have to go out to see it, and it definitely hammers the nostalgia button hard. It also has the problem of "They show up in important Star Wars events, and have a big impact". All that said I will disagree with you, mostly. The other three ships are really cool and fun, they do fit in Star Wars or are so good it's worth remembering. I do agree with the Star Scavenger though, it's a scavenger ship but it feels like a garbage truck, especially when the front part detaches and flys on it's own. It feels misshapen and awkward
I remember seeing Star hopper in a few episodes of the clone wars I saw Ventress fly the ship in 2 episodes and the ship is also in the slaves of the republic episode
I personally own the First Order Scout Walker and in terms of playability it is very unique with its movement function, and I do display it because it’s genuinely a decent set for its price. I am disheartened to see that the Community does not enjoy the set as much as I do, and how Disney really screwed Lego over when making this set by not including the Walker in the movie 🎥
I built 7930 Bounty Hunter Assault Gunship and 75024 HH-87 Starhopper recently, and tbh they are both absolutely brilliant sets! Especially 7930 is just perfect and so cool. Got a good deal on it on ebay, bid on it for 90 bucks, brandnew,sealed and got it!
The bounty hunter gunship is on par with the Twilight and the MTT for the ugliest designs in Star Wars. The wookie gunship is so cool, it's pretty obviously inspired by the Mil MI24 soviet helicopter, just like the LAAT is.
There are other forgettable sets that are the 2015 Naboo Speeder Remake set. Nightsister speeder (clone Wars set) Small Ship of Resistance (2018) with Finn Rose Hondor pirate speeder (2009 clone Wars set)
When I saw this list, I immediately thought of the original T16 Skyhopper -- you know, a lego set of the model spaceship that Luke has in his room. Come to find out, they also made a modern version of the set that I was completely unaware of. Not sure which one of the two is more "forgotten," since I had the T16 as a kid, but I think either one would be a great pick.
I’ll be the first to say it: I actually watched Freemaker Adventures (and kinda enjoyed it) and bought the Arrowhead and Tracker I. They’re honestly pretty cool sets. Tracker I has six compartments (one for the pilot, one for a prisoner, and four for weapons) and the Arrowhead is such a unique design and even came with Quarrie, a minor character from that debuted in Rebels. I’m definitely the unpopular opinion and it’s been years since I watched Freemaker Adventures but that’s just my opinion
U should, i like it cause it really sticks out in my collection. Also I never had any Kanan fig and the other sets he appeared it weren't worth it for me. If I need to opay the price for him, might Atwell get a good ship with it too.

I had the Wookie gunship when I was younger, the studs were a pain in my butt to clean up, but it was such a cool set that I didn’t mind.
The white rebel helmet from the sand speeder set is identical in design to the one Rey wore on Jakku in The Force Awakens.
