I couldn’t help but think this box would have been perfect for someone who sews skating costumes. As to the sheer fabric, I think it would make a gorgeous duster coat or you could even use a sweater pattern and make a light outer layer for spring and summer. Satin will show wrinkles more so than a non-shiny fabric so this will really aid you in finding out what needs adjusting in your pants patterns. That said don’t expect perfection in your first pair. I think buying this box was a genius idea. You have tons of fabric so you can play around with different patterns and styles. I didn’t realize you were so tall; no wonder you wanted inexpensive fabric for muslins!!!!

Good point on the satin. Wrinkles in this case are a blessing! I do have a sheer duster pattern that I may try.
The blue or pink satin might make a nice robe.
You know, I made a nightgown out of the blue. Good idea for a robe!
