Heyy loved your 2x2 elevator but it didn't had a ceiling, and 3 sides , can you make one with ceiling and 3 sides? or maybe ceiling and 3 walls on each side that reaches until the next floor.
Im wanting a similar contraption for a 1x2 floor hidden door where the pistons arent seeable. Would this same sort of contraption work if i figure out how to do it sideways
@TomcoTwo yeah basically. But I want the pistons flushed away. I'm working on a massive build and want a secret trap door opening to this massive underground part of the build
You can use this redstone to do it, just don’t include any of the layout sticky pistons on one half, the redstone itself will still have the be 2 blocks wide tho
If you have discord or Twitter I’m happy to look at pictures of the redstone to see if I can spot what’s up, but I suggest making sure your timings are correct, especially the ones near the copper bulb
@@TomcoTwo I put 3 ticks on the one after the comparator and 4 ticks on the one going on the solid block next to the bulb, after using it a few times and rebuilding whern it breaks, it worked only once, most times it breaks when returning

It picks up the first line of blocks but the second line stay up, the pistons don’t grab the second line of pistons, anyway to fix it?

it's a nice tutorial, but didn't work for me on 1.21.3, it goes up ok, but on the way down, it messes up

it was an issue in my implementation, thanks for helping me fix it Tom, I didn't realise I had used the wrong piston type and that glass was not solid
