Saw them live for 10 bucks at Bogarts in Cincinatti. Double opening acts with Soundgarden, opening for Voivod which was weird. Had to drive from Knoxville to Cincinatti but gas was cheap back then. I went for Faith No More and came back and bought all of Soundgarden's stuff, my friend went for Soundgarden and came back and bough all of Faith No More's stuff. We left 2 songs into Voivod. During this song Patton crowd surfed and did the song on his back from the crowd during the slow parts. Then they tossed him back on stage for the fast parts. Best concert I have ever seen. Primus is a close second.
Fuck he has so much damn energy in every live performance; esp. back in the late 80's, early 90's. I miss that time and the music so much. The best music is from the 80s and 90's.
Bill Gould is does so "much under the hood" work in his songs. Incredible bass player. I've always loved his live sound and the way his looping, crushing bass lines thread throughout.
If you've seen this song played live you'll never forget it. The rest of the album on top, blew my mind at the time when they came to Liverpool and rocked the f**k out of the place.
To have been at this gig and witnessed it was amazing and I still sit and watch it now never surpassed the best gig ever and I've been to lots and lots
Ten numer jest znakomity jak cały koncert i LP zniego ,który do dziś mam na kasecie magnetofonowej... cudowne lata.Moc RnR Dzięki za udostępnienie video Pozdrawiam serdecznie
FNM rocked the late 80's early 90's! Mike is my idol & I like Jim Martin´s guitar playing but I've always thought that his V-guitar looks so homemade... Maybe just an old model...
Everytime I hear Michael sing I just fall in love with him all over again. I am married and adore my husband also. but my heart has room for Michael too!
You're married? Well I'm fucking straight and I'm a man... and my heart still has room for Mike Patton lol. I remember one time we talked with my male friends about who's the sexiest man alive and all of us agreed it's Mike Patton lol.
One of the best songs from one of the greatest rock bands that’s ever been. This band absolutely does not get the credit or recognition they deserve. I love Epic but they’re so fucking far beyond where that song ended up classifying them.
Turns out Faith No More band got an interesting guy after their singer left..... This album was written before Mike Pattycakes joined Turns out Mike Patton is an exceptional weirdo Legend
I understand your saying ... To me it is the kind of lirics of many pop stars that have less meaning than bare facts of life . I loved this tube ! Peace + knowledge for all !
I always wondered that myself. Maybe he just found a new style and preferred that one. His original style of singing was good for 'The Real Thing' material but wouldn't have suited any of their later stuff, and that's when they made their most interesting music. Anyway, his new style was far more influential than his old style and his voice was far more powerful later on.
You're everything that's why I cling to you When I emerge my thoughts converge to you To you The world is so small compared to you And everybody's wrong compared to you To you I begin to see through your eyes All the former mysteries are no surprise So now, you listen 'Cause I'm omniscient Hey look at me lady I'm just a little baby You're lucky to have me I'm cute and sweet as candy As charming as a fable I'm innocent and disabled So hug me and kiss me Then wipe my butt and piss me I hope you never leave 'Cause who would hear me scream Nobody understands Except the toys in my hands So now you listen 'Cause I'm omniscient Hey look at me lady I'm just a little baby If I smile, then you smile Then I'll get mad for awhile I melt in your mouth And in your hands whenever I can But I really do nothing Except kickin' and fussin' I like to make a mess I laugh at your distress I sit all day in my crib Absorbing all you give I'm helpless I'm flawless I'm a machine Give me, I need my toys Keep me hot keep me strong keep me everlong Keep me hot keep me strong keep me everlong Keep me hot keep me strong keep me everlong Keep me hot keep me strong keep me everlong So now you listen 'Cause I'm omniscient
i think these guys woke people up. people were hungry for something really different. i think faith no more prepared people for the 90's rock movement and helped them embrace it when it came. before pearl jam and nirvana exsisted..before metallica became big...FNM ruled
I agree with you on all counts bar one... Metallica were huge in 1986 matey. They just went mainstream in 1991 with the Black Album, which is when a lot of people got into them. FNM were a great, unique and influencial band with there alternative approach though!
This is one of their best songs, Period if you ask me
Agree... amazing jam....
I concur
Fo sho. I can hear this song and die peacefully
Most def
yep
I can NEVER get tired of this song.
Me too so good

Impossible to get tired of anything from The Real Thing and Angel Dust for me. Solid gold. And the performance. My god.
@@koobesq that sounds so awesome.😁👍

My favorite Faith No More song ever!!! A true masterpiece, way underrated!
Carlos Pepió I totally agree!
Agree. My goto song.
This one is my second favorite, next to The Real Thing.
one of the most underrated bands ever
Absolutely👍
they not underrated at all a lot of people are fans to dead of them , they just no to popular but a lot of good band from that time are not
What?! Who ever underrated FNM? They are very well appriciated.
Then you hear mr bungle ou818
@@fillefilander true. I've been hearing of them say forever.
They were my first concert 1990, Chicago!!!
this song means so much when youre an addict & going through the worst part of soberity. word for word this song says it all
gotta be one of the best metal tracks out there.
holy shit man... i cant belive my uncle actually met these guys! freaking awsome! he has a pic in his room that i want of him and Patton =]
The best right behind The Real Thing!
Now THAT'S a bass player!
Most underrated song in their entire catalog. TRT is 30 and my life is better for it.
I saw it live, 3 times, at Rock in Rio II, and at Olímpia (Sao Paulo, Brazil), 2 times at same week, 90' years, good times!
Beer, Girls and Rock!
Always and still the best band ever
Saw these guys on the bill with Soundgarden back in '90.... Trenton City Gardens. Truly epic all around!
FNM + Soundgarden? What a dream!
Voivod was there too I believe. FNM + Soundgarden + Voivod! If only AIC was there.
Voivod made that bill epic.
one of the most under rated bands of all times!
love this song (also interpreted as a relationship between and older woman and much younger man)
My favourite song ever.
I love this band.
Ten numer jest znakomity jak cały koncert i LP zniego ,który do dziś mam na kasecie magnetofonowej... cudowne lata.Moc RnR

My favorite song by them
I love how Jim's t-shirt becomes a football jersey and then it's a t-shirt again. Movie Magic!
One of the most Beautiful songs I have ever heard. …..
I love The real thing album, all Faith no More albums are so great, and unique
Goosebumps… haven’t heard this for years 🥺
FNM rocked the late 80's early 90's! Mike is my idol & I like Jim Martin´s guitar playing but I've always thought that his V-guitar looks so homemade... Maybe just an old model...
This version is sick. One of my biggest regrets was not seeing this tour.
Love this song 🤤
Jon Mess of Dance Gavin Dance said his first concert was Mr. Bungle and you can definitely hear the vocal influence with Mikes scream at 2:15
Definitely my no 1 album of all time.
Just brilliant!
just an amazing band, don't compare with anyone as far as im concerned, totally unique
Keep me hot, keep me strong, keep me ever ever long
How could dislike this Masterpiece?
Adoro esta versión en vivo de Zombie Eaters, muestra toda la intensidad que eran capaces de alcanzar Faith No More. ¡Qué buenos eran!
One of the best songs ever.
LOVE this Song!! Thank you so much for uploading!!
Hammer! Hab dieses ganze Konzert noch auf Video! Und hab sie selber mal LIVE gesehen und gehört! Einfach geniale Band!!!!
Better than the incredible album version here. But so is most of this whole set. Needs 10 million + views!
Yeah. EVERY Brixton academy song is better than it's studio album equivalent.
Why?
Everytime I hear Michael sing I just fall in love with him all over again. I am married and adore my husband also. but my heart has room for Michael too!
You're married? Well I'm fucking straight and I'm a man... and my heart still has room for Mike Patton lol. I remember one time we talked with my male friends about who's the sexiest man alive and all of us agreed it's Mike Patton lol.
Damn you pulled out his government name lol
One of the best songs from one of the greatest rock bands that’s ever been. This band absolutely does not get the credit or recognition they deserve. I love Epic but they’re so fucking far beyond where that song ended up classifying them.
love this song.....!!!!!!!!
Brilliant Song !! Thank you very much for uploading.......
hell yeah it was. the lyrics in it are just incredible
Turns out Faith No More band got an interesting guy after their singer left.....
This album was written before Mike Pattycakes joined
Turns out Mike Patton is an exceptional weirdo
Legend
the best song at the real thing.i love it
Patton seems to be another person. He's amazing in both ways
In the turmoil of knowledge, insanity abides. 'Keep me hot, keep me strong, keep me ever ever long.'
2 days till I get to see these guys ! Can't wait ! Bring it on, gonna be one of the best shows ever !
So, how was the show now that a few years have past?
Cycling Go! Incredible ! Was suppose to see them again a few weeks ago but unfortunately cancelled because of covid, been rescheduled for next year
ooohhhh yeah GREAT MEMORIES !!!!
thanks for posting !!
That sound is a whole new genre being created
Even better live than from the studio!! Unheard of!!
Sin duda en esa Epoca Faith no more sonaba Más Heavy, con la guitarra de jim Martin. Mu sueño es que algun dia hagan una gira con el gran big jim.
thats hope you'll never leave!!!! coz who would hear me scream? best band ever
I understand your saying ... To me it is the kind of lirics of many pop stars that have less meaning than bare facts of life . I loved this tube ! Peace + knowledge for all !
Not heard this for years.. used to love this song back in the day..
such a well written song

I love this song. It's pretty heavy!!
I just love that song ssssssooooooooo mutch !!!!!!
De acuerdo con lo que dicen muchos, muy muy buena canción, tramo de 4,45 a 5 impresionante
F'ing awesome!!!
So so good
desde chile... grande faith no more!!!
its on their big hit album the real thing. i recomend buying it. you wont be dissapointed
You're everything that's why I cling to you
When I emerge my thoughts converge to you
To you
The world is so small compared to you
And everybody's wrong compared to you
To you
I begin to see through your eyes
All the former mysteries are no surprise
So now, you listen
'Cause I'm omniscient
Hey look at me lady
I'm just a little baby
You're lucky to have me
I'm cute and sweet as candy
As charming as a fable
I'm innocent and disabled
So hug me and kiss me
Then wipe my butt and piss me
I hope you never leave
'Cause who would hear me scream
Nobody understands
Except the toys in my hands
So now you listen
'Cause I'm omniscient
Hey look at me lady
I'm just a little baby
If I smile, then you smile
Then I'll get mad for awhile
I melt in your mouth
And in your hands whenever I can
But I really do nothing
Except kickin' and fussin'
I like to make a mess
I laugh at your distress
I sit all day in my crib
Absorbing all you give
I'm helpless
I'm flawless
I'm a machine
Give me, I need my toys
Keep me hot keep me strong keep me everlong
Keep me hot keep me strong keep me everlong
Keep me hot keep me strong keep me everlong
Keep me hot keep me strong keep me everlong
So now you listen
'Cause I'm omniscient
is there a dvd of this concert ? I'd love to get my hands on it , This great ! thanx for posting this
eu amo!! eu amo!! eu amo!!
OMG! Did reality just fucking split in order to contain this awesomeness?!
Not at all.
It DID!😧
i think these guys woke people up. people were hungry for something really different. i think faith no more prepared people for the 90's rock movement and helped them embrace it when it came. before pearl jam and nirvana exsisted..before metallica became big...FNM ruled
2:15 his technique for growls and raspy voice it's so fkn......EPIC. long live to Mike patton
I agree with you on all counts bar one... Metallica were huge in 1986 matey. They just went mainstream in 1991 with the Black Album, which is when a lot of people got into them. FNM were a great, unique and influencial band with there alternative approach though!
right around 4:50 seconds, the boys put it into overdrive. and it grooves so freakin hard
Um dos melhores shows já feitos de todos os tempos
Increíble voz ❤
this album is fantastic, all songs are better than the album versions...Fun and class, as good as Angel Dust and King for a Day IMO
this gets my heart rate up quite a bit.
aug 7 th toronto canada see ya there
Divine!
Awesome!
Objectively their best song it’s a fact
Awesome
damn mike patton is good. he sounds nothing short of divine live.
Mike looks really like Jason Newsted here
gonna see them live in 8 days
i love this song. this is the greatest band ever imo. if they did get back together for a tour i would most have see them.
Their best song imo
This is just so fucking good!
Simplemente genial. La banda buenísima, y Patton un fiera
@mrbunghole You didn't like Angel Dust? I loved it. It was different than The Real Thing, but in a good way.
La mejor cancion de la banda.
BELÍSSIMO!!!
truely epic.
When I listen to this, all my neighbors do to.
