Robert, your production quality has improved so much the first time I was introduced to your channel. You've came a long way from your early beginnings and every since you reach 1 million subs, your content has gotten better every since.
I used to like fishing before, but after seeing your channel, it made me respect it. Your love not only for hunting/fishing but also the respect of the wildlife you harvest is something beautiful and it can't go unnoticed, and that is very inspirational. And the love for your family, the respect you teach to your daughters and the relationship between you and your wife is very touching and makes you a fantastic father.
A lot of people consider the average Florida man as some deranged person committing the most unusual crimes, befriending an entire congregation of gators and being an overall menace to society. But you significantly make a better example of yourself and you don't let anyone get in the way of what you love.

Awesome. I used to work at Gray,s taxidermy. People would bring in fresh hogfish to get mounted. Since they were getting a reproduction mount, we would fillet em up and take em home. Delicious. Great vid

Most of all, I love to watch how this family nurtures those youngsters - reminds me of my youngest daughter's family with a six and an eight year old who appreciate nature and are learning everything about the Low Country. "Why are all those people looking at us," asked the six year old grand daughter slamming oysters and clams in her mouth. I guess not many people see youngsters enjoying seafood as much as they do. What a blessing.

I have many grandchildren and can appreciate the way these robs babies are being raised. This show depicts not only good healthy times in the outdoors but also values and ideals all Families really need. This family’s image should be on every american postage stamp.

Brother, I moved to Florida partially because of you. 2 weeks ago we did a half-day charter out of St.Pete and I caught a Hog on live shrimp, I was beyond stoked....I don't know the first thing about fishing and the little that I do know is 100% because of you...even processing out fish. My only hog fish story: I speared a hog fish one time on vacation in the Bahamas and planned on grilling it for dinner. I decided to have a glass of vodka afterward to celebrate the occasion, the glass of vodka turned into a whole bottle of Absolute. I woke up the next morning to a left over grilled hog fish that apparently someone ate, that someone was my brother and he claimed I would only let him eat it if I hand fed it to him. Not sure why he agreed to that deal but he said it was delicious..I don’t remember any of this. But, I will be doing some catch and cooks with European fish species now that I live in Germany, hopefully I’ll remember these ones..

I’ve speared hog fish before, but from what I have been told, it is very rare to catch one on a hook. But you are correct, best tasting fish there is.
The best tasting Fish isn't Hog Fish, it's actually Butter Fish.
Butter Fish as the name implies, has a strong buttery creamy taste to it that pushed it to the top of Goumet menu's.
But the problem with Butter Fish is it contains element's to it that are indigestable.
So it's best not to eat it, but I think if you just catch one & cook it the way you like but once it's in your mouth - don't swallow it.
Just chew it to get the taste & then spit it out😋

It’s actually nice to see a group of guys out there that are actually enjoying life and can laugh and have a good time in life and not live the life I’m living!! I’m a disabled Desert Storm Vet and trust me brother, you don’t want to walk a day in my boots! Rob is one of the few reasons why I still wake up everyday and try to keep on fighting, but some days get really tough to do that. His video’s help keep the memories alive of what life used to be like for me, when I would do the things in life that were not only fun to do, but was what the lord wanted us to do to help feed and provide for our families but also gave good brotherhood with the other guys on the boat. It keeps a man young and on his toes to carry on like that and now I can only dream about what those days used to be like cause I can’t even afford to put a piece of line and a hook on a piece of can to go catch a crappie!!
My life is miserable for sure but at least I’ve still got my memories and spirit of what it used to be like but the folks complaining about it are much more miserable than I am for sure , but in a completely different way! They’ve lost their spirit somewhere along the way and now want everyone else to be like them and it ain’t gonna happen! There ain’t nothing wrong with a man with the spirit of the lord running thru his veins that can go out and not only provide for his family with food and income, but have the best time doing it!! Rob is a GREAT man, one who I strive to be more like everyday even tho I can never stand up to the requirements but I can still dream and have goals in what little bit of life I have left!!

That has got to be the best fish I’ve ever seen you cook also. I want to try that recipe so bad but unfortunately will never get that opportunity but a guy still has to dream about something ya know! That was such an easy sauce to make and it’s got to be absolutely wonderful! I’ve gotta try and come up with something that I can try and cook that I can use that sauce on!!
