I am not using neither because I am still rocking the iPhone 13 Pro Max. It’s been solid since almost 2 years ago when I bought it. Because android has vastly improved from when I switched to the iPhone, turned my house line into a mobile and got an android phone. As alluring as the Samsung Galaxy S ultra phones are, I went for the pixel 7 Pro because price. Now the S24 is out and and alluring as it is I am refraining from upgrading g because the pixel 7 Pro hasn’t let me down and I am not happy with the ai features included in the Galaxy S24. What is great in the tech world is nowadays you can do either iOS and or android and neither is a wrong decision.
I have an iPhone 15 Pro Max, but I don’t FaceTime anyone nor I don’t think I’ve ever used AirDrop despite having an iPad Pro and family with iPhones. Not sure why I stick with iOS when I don’t even use all the features of iOS. If I’m being honest with myself, I’d benefit more from the Android experience. I want to d/l things on my phone without having to jump through hoops; I think the S Pen would be more useful for me; and I want to customize my phone the way I want it.
I think the same. I just struggle getting used to how things look on Android and all the data I’d be losing from letting go of my iPhone. And these retailers and service providers are just giving you 2 weeks. If they gave me 30 days to return if I don’t like it, I’d probably have enough time to transfer most if not all of what I want on my phone.
I have an android and my family has iphones. The BIGGEST complaint for me is losing iMessenger and having to go with regular text. My videos don't transfer over well, etc. My husband and I use WhatsApp at this point. So if you communicate a lot, that'll be annoying. Everything else IMHO cause i'm a google user is way better on Android.
The Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra is equipped with an Expert RAW feature, which allows users to capture raw footage for greater control over the editing process.
@robertfan332 Samsung has had it for a while too. But with the quality of the camera and sensor on thr s24, you can really take advantage of it and loaf the raw image file into photoshop and do much more
The one unique feature that a Samsung phone has over an iPhone is the ability to schedule text messages. This feature is particularly useful when I need to send a reminder message to my boss but do not want to be disrespectful by messaging him late at night. With the scheduling feature, I can send my reminder and set it to be sent at an appropriate time. While I own both an iPhone 12 Pro Max and a Samsung S24+, I must admit that the S24+ has become my indispensable personal assistant. In fact, I now primarily use my iPhone for Apple Pay and FaceTime calls with my family, who also use iPhones. The Samsung S24+ is so packed with useful features that it has become an integral part of my daily life.
@@jraheemjefcoat429 However I still encourage you to use shortcuts. It takes some time to set up everything you need, but once you do it, it leaves One UI in the dust. I mapped my action button to open a menu with a lot of useful stuff - directions to home, estimated time to work, set phone on silent when arriving at the office etc
@@jraheemjefcoat429 It would probably be an easy thing to add. I assume not a lot of people use it so they are scared of features creep. I still encourage you to use shortcuts, you can do amazing things with it.
This dude worked so hard to make the iPhone look at the same level as the S24U, omitting so many things the Galaxy can do the iPhone can just dream about, it's hilarious
One thing I think really shows it is saying the Reflective Screen has been very controversial. I haven't heard one negative review. It's all been incredibly supportive
Yeah all they do is compare cameras. How about real world uses like checking email, using maps, notes, and multitasking, copy/paste, change settings in an app etc... you will see the true power and ease of Android.
Biased, who me? No way! Not so long ago, I preferred Samsung b/c of the innovation (IR blaster, S Pen, Wireless/Reverse Wireless charging, AOD, etc.). Now that Samsung is on the incremental upgrade cycle, I have to agree that most people are just kinda set in their ways, and yes, although I hate to admit it, biased. 🤔
When a group of people say they won't date a person because of a green text bubble is insane. I think apple users are more biased than android users. Oh not to mention I got called a lame because I use a Samsung but not one not two but I lost count from how many apple fan boys. Teens are even being bullied because they have an android so yeah. I don't think us Samsung knights or android users are no where near as bad as an iPhone user 😂
@Mob3tta_01 I agree. I'm a samsung user and I luv it. Just about everyone in my contacts have an iPhone and always say get an iPhone. So I hit them with get a Samsung. I explain to them the productivity and the multi tasking is so amazing on this phone. I can't go without it. I luv it
The reason why the S24 Ultra is more expensive than the 15 PM is because it has an S-pen and the PM doesn't. The 15 PM is really more similar to the S24+ than it is to the S24 Ultra and the S24+ is less expensive than the 15 PM.
there is no reason why either should be that expensive. Its a scam when you learn that the phone is made with a total cost of 10 to 25 dollars. Samsung is the better phone but the cost with no perks like headphone or charging stations is plane scam artistry. You can buy a far superior camera for much less that 1.2k usa dollars. I have had samsung for years and recently bought an Iphone and what a Mistake that was. I have to use a credit card in order to up load music from pc to Iphone. I have to pay for a subscription. Keyboard on samsung is also superior. From what i can tell the ability to take night photos on newer samsung is supperior. The cost of smart phones is over priced and the resale value stinks expecially when you see a "referbished" phone costing twice as much as the same phone you are reselling. 20 dollars for a phone 25 years ago and nobody could track you or hack your identity.
CJ, you lose me when you say unbiased opinion that’s is not you. As a iPhone 15 pro max and a s24 ultra user. You be coming for Samsung hard and when the 15 pro max came out you spent the first 5-10 min Apple explain before every video about anything negative about iPhone and that’s when I stop taking your opinion seriously. Both phones have there flaws but you be defending iPhone way to hard to call yourself an unbiased reviewer. You don’t really call out iPhone you find a way to defend it. I’m still going to support you and love your videos though.
This video is literally about bias and I clearly state my "preference" and yes I do take jabs but it's only for the ones who leave crazy comments on my videos for that side.
@theycallme_D fr not just that but he blatantly contradicts himself in the video when he praises apples video log he says even if you don't use you have to cover everything but then goes to to argue nobody gonna use multitasking and downplays the heck out of it as well as ignoring the s pen.
I just switched from an iPhone 14 pro max to the S24 ultra and I do not regret it. I love my s24 ultra. That's something I thought I'll never say 😅. I've been a apple person since 2009 when I got the iPhone 3Gs and had a iPhone since. I honestly just got tired of the iPhone and wanted to try out the Samsung ultra phone. I love the freedom and how customizable the phone is. A few Things I do miss from the iPhone is imessege, FaceTime, and siri. Other than that, the 24 ultra is a bad ass phone.
I switched from the 15 pro max to the s24 ultra miss face lD but l like the way you can make your phone your own love the split screen something iOS doesn’t have unfortunately
I'm glad you all tried it I can't get my cousin or daughter to even try a Samsung that have a super biased that you are less because you use an android. Sad to say I at least tried iPhone but Samsung is better. But they haven't used Samsung since 2012 it's a different ball game in 2024
Great stuff. I think you missed the opportunity to tune your S24 Ultra's Pro Mode to compete with the iPhone 15PM's ProRes considering the fact that you could have done justifiably. You missed it and like you stipulated, that's the area where the root-honed bias took center-stage. Regardless, my skin tone as a dark skinned person is preferably better on S24U particularly with photos, and good with videos one the 15PM.
but how is that "fair" if I'm not using a pro camera mode on the iPhone to tweak it's results which I could have done that as well...right? Soon as I get my ND Filter Case for the S24 Ultra I'll take it and the iPhone along with it's ND Filters and put the best of both up against one another...then there will be no more debate
I went from Android to Apple for 3 years, and then back to Android. I agree that there's some consistency with 🍎 but I did not enjoy the experience myself. I just prefer the android experience. But during those years with apple I made sure not to buy any iPods or 🍎 ⌚. 😂 I didn't want to commit to anything, if I wasn't fully enjoying the experience.
Question...was you able to find a solid screen protector for your s23? I like the slightly rounded screen but to find a glass screen protector is annoying. I found some but they take away from the look of the phone with that fingerprint circle on the screen 🙄.
I use both iPhone and Samsung, and I have another Android device I use as a backup.... I personally think that the Samsung (and for the most part Android in general) is better than the iPhone, because of FEATURES and customization options. Most iPhone users don't care about customization and Android users are people who are usually more tech-savy, and want a more user-friendly device. There are just certain things you can't do with an iPhone. The device you use reflects who you are...thats why I use BOTH. The geek bench stats don't really reflect user experience.
The S24 Ultra has S-pen Ai and a way better screen. That dynamic suppository on the iphone belongs up a cows butt not on a high end smart phone. I love my S24 ultra.
Ye nearly switched to apple, but im so stuck in the android and Windows/Microsoft eco system. Made it hard to switch, ended up getting a s24ultra, and im super happy with it.
@CJKnowsTECH lol bro, don't get me started, I do photography, and i thought about making a full switch and I've seen the work flow for that stuff seems to be more seamless but hey lol day to day I love da android so there's always a compromise which ever eco system you go for
One thing these reviews never show is the daily use. Cameras are subjected. You can have 10 people take the same picture on each phone and they can all look different and everyones opinion will be different. A pic you think bad might seem good to someone else and vise versa. What need to be compared is using the phone like going into emails and having to make changes to app settings or editing text and being forced to pull up the keyboard to enter text and you will see a big difference where the S24 will be faster in a lot of ways, like just inputting numbers in a text. You don't need to tap to bring up the number keyboard like on apple so you just saved 3 taps on the s24, Or say you want to change the resolution of the camera. You need to exit the cameras app and go to general setting to find the camera and make changes there on iPhone. (like 5 steps) where on S24 you click an icon on top of the screen. Instant change. The UI experience is night and day. I have used both phones and for about 80% of what I do daily on my phone takes way longer on an iphone. Yes you have to take the time to setup things on the android to get that faster productivity, but if is something you use frequently, 2 minutes of setting up a widget or shorcut say to a spreadsheet or document is worth it. I have a folder on my screen that gives me access to like 10 google drive items instantly where on the iphone I would have to open the app scroll to the folder then tap the item. so just comparing the camera and novelty features is more biased.
I've carried both kinds of phonest for almost 4 years and fully intend to continue doing so. Before that I used to carry 2 Galaxy Note Note phones. In my country Android phones outnumber iPhones so FACE TIME AND AIR DROP are much less important considerations. I rarely use my cameras and I'm a heavy S Pen user. The S Pen is the reason a Samsung is always my Android phone. However I've used only an Apple Watch for the past 3 years. I will continue to buy Samsung S Ultra and iPhone Pro Max phones.
I've had both and still have my S24 Ultra. The iPhone was great for battery life and had nice, crisp animations, but Apple is far behind in terms of multitasking, which is a pain for tasks like getting codes from authenticator apps. I also work away a lot and hated that the iPhone would never connect to the PlayStation Remote Play app, while the Samsung would connect the first time. I also dislike how locked iOS is compared to Android, with limited customization options. Apple does have an amazing watch, though, and I miss it every day. Also, Samsung now has AI. The spelling and grammar with one tap is amazing. I also found car play performed better than android auto
I like iOS and android but I keep coming back to my iPhone and I don’t even have the whole ecosystem. After using an android for a while I can come back to my iPhone it just feels so much smoother and fluid imo.
I have both the 15pm and s24u. Have had both for the past 15 years. I like both, they each have their use case for me. Right now my 15pm is used for my video and creation and my s24u is my actual daily. The s24u can be my video phone as well but i like to seperate my "tool" from my daily. The s24u esp with one ui is just a better day to day all around device being able to set the device up to exactly how i want it to be and thats pricless. And im not tied to either eco system as i use google for most things so i can access my data from any device. I do have their respective accessories via watch and buds and tabs9 ultra cause i sold my ipad. I think as always its a matter of preference at this point. Both great, both expensive.
yeah if you use widgets and folder shortcuts and everything on android you can do stuff so much quicker. Which I like. I don't do video editing and stuff like that but more documents, spreadsheets, browser, email and it is so much easier.
Great video, CJ! I’ve been an iPhone user since the 4S, when Apple opened it up to other phone companies. Prior to that I was an Android user. I’ve been seriously considering switching to Android, specifically the Galaxy Ultra for 2 years now. I currently have the natural titanium 15 Pro Max, but if Apple doesn’t do something compelling in September, I’m going to make the jump when the Galaxy S25 Ultra drops next January.
There's no bias the ultra is better device as it's a more productive device and it feels faster as far I getting things done faster with something as simple as the lack of back gestures and also long pressing on let's a number to highlight that you want to call from texts
Great video as always, I’m glad you called out the hidden bias of tech reviewers. But about multitasking, I disagree it’s only useful on the computer. There are many times when I need to quickly reference something in one app while I have another app open (e.g., notes, banking, calculator, etc). It’s easier to just open the other in split screen view instead of going back and forth between apps. That’s the only real feature Samsung has that’s missing on the iPhone.
I've had both Apple android devices. The first was the Google G1, currently using the ZF5. I'm in agreeance with the iPhone being more polished or "consistent." The main gripe with Apple is the limitations, specifically the app store. There are multiple sources to download apps, whether paid/free/etc., even those that are no longer available in the appstore on android. That's not including tweaks that work with ADB. However, I will say that a Jailbroken iPhone would be untouchable.
When comparing camera samples with the s24 versus the iPhone it helps the Samsung if you increase the megapixel count in the camera settings. I did this same type of comparison taking two pictures with an iPhone and the s24 ultra and that first the iPhone pictures look better then when I switch the megapixel count to a higher one on the Samsung the pictures looked way better afterwards so I'm not sure which settings you use in the s24 ultra or if you covered it in the video.
The 512gb and 1tb versions of the phones are actually 90$ cheaper on the samsung s24 ultra. At least here in Canada. I'm not gonna list all the features the s24 ultra has over the 15 pro max as the list would be quite long. Last iphone I ever used was the white iPhone 4. And apple slowed it down with the ios 7 update. Vowed to never own another iPhone. Been on Android ever since. For the money, I don't know how anyone would get the iphone over the s24 ultra
I've watched 100s of s24U vs 15ProMax reviews and comparisons, and this is the best review. Saying it as it is, easy to understand, love your perspective.
Great video as always. Sticking to my Fold 5 at the moment but might buying the 16 Pro later this September and upgrading to the Fold 6. Once you go foldables, you can't be brickable no more 😅
Review is trash... screen sizes are 6.8 and 6.7 inches...screen tech is the same minus the anti glare tech..both screens made by Samsung. Please get your facts straight
I didn’t even mention screen size 😂 I mentioned phone sizes…before you go huffing and puffing in the comments get your facts straight 😭…yall gotta relax
Where Samsung beats Apple in pricing is in its trade in deals. Apples trade in deals are almost non existent. Also Apples prices don’t come down throughout the year. Samsungs always throwing in deals, and sure I know the resale value of the iPhone is the best, by that’s still something to point out , especially being how good Android devices have gotten compared to Android phones just 7 years ago .
I got my s22 ultra brand new from samsung trading in my note 20 ultra. They also included ear buds that I sold for 150$. I ended snagging the s22u for 400$ after trade-in and selling the stuff I got with it. It's why I've been stuck with Samsung forever. The deals! I'm thinking next I will try iphone because it might be a fun change, but I love samsung too. Just bored right now. Last 4 phones were sammy.
Both are great phones, with Samsung having better experience in the beginning and iPhone ageing better in the long term. Now, Samsung is also offering 7 years of OS upgrades, but when you sell them after 3-4 years, iPhone will be worth atleast 3-5 times more.
I have a 15 Pro Max and I love it. After years of using iPhones I do get a bit bored sometimes and I wanna try something new so I have switched to Android a few times over the last 4 or so years (Note 20 Ultra, Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra, S22 Ultra) but every time I switched back to iPhone within 3 months except for the Xiaomi which managed to keep me entertained for 6 months. I always just missed iOS and how polished and complete it is. Reviewers never talk about the more in depth features that maybe arent as fancy but make the user experience better for everyday use. For example: iCloud photo library syncs across all of your devices and if you delete backups, edit photos, make folders or whatever it syncs. With Google Photos it backs up your photos but then that's it. If you delete duplicates, it doesn't delete them from the cloud so now you have two libraries to manage. It's a pain. Another one is calendar integration. I use Hotmail as my main email address and Microsoft 365 for my work email. I can change my personal email to Gmail to make it easier on Android but I can't change my work email, that's set by IT and isn't going to change any time soon so if I want to be able to create calendar events on my work account using Google Assistant, well, tough luck. Sure you can use a 3rd party app and manually add your calendar events etc but it's slow an tedious. On iOS I can log into any account in the main iOS settings app, set whichever one I want to be the default for calendar events and then make then using Siri and if I want to change which account the event is on I can do so in 2 clicks on the calendar app. It is so much more useful and helpful for me in my everyday life. And then there's Safari and the fact that the UI is all at the bottom of the screen and there's all the gestures for opening a new tab, closing a tab, switching between tabs with a swipe, having tab groups, being able to collaborate on tab groups for planning holidays etc with your partner, installing ad blockers etc. Safari is amazing and when I use the browsers on Android I feel like I have gone back in time 10 years. There are a tonne of big and little things that I love about iOS that are missing on Android but it's not all bad, there are some Android features which I really like and I would like Apple to copy them but at the end of the day, iOS makes my life easier and that's what I like. To each their own.
😂 Yup. Totally agreed. All of us has biased/preference. I tried both. And some feature I wish the other has it and vice versa. And I also prefer my iPhone 15PM than my Samsung.
Mr. CJ (tech enthusiast) didn’t even give a single second to chit chat about galaxy AI, ig he’s unaware of it 🙃 Mr, CJ can you please check your call logs and tell me that 3 months ago who’s first call you received that day btw fyi i just checked that my S22 Ultra is showing me all the call log from 2022 💀 Mr. CJ can you sideload any application on an almighty Iphone, I’d love to see that 🥹 btw idk why but my S22 Ultra can which is very shameful 😓 Btw Mr. CJ do you know in-app purchases are costlier in an Iphone than on an ugly android phone Mr. CJ can you customise an Iphone the way we customise an Android Mr. CJ idk why but my S22 Ultra has has a pause button while video recording which i don’t see in an IPhone, ig my friend haven’t enabled that on his iPhone, if you get time can you please tell me how do i enable that on his iPhone for his convenience Mr. CJ why does my S22 Ultra has more features on its camera and expert raw application to play with than an iPhone Mr. CJ how can i open 5 applications on an iPhone the same way that my S22 Ultra does (pop-up window) Mr. CJ why does using an iphone feels like limitation/restriction even after paying more than what samsung costs and those ugly samsung users experience freedom
While I’ve seen your bias (in my opinion) come out for Apple, at the end of the day I feel like you equally cover Samsung phones and Apple more than anyone I know. I can’t really think of any mainstream RUclipsrs that cover both like you. And it’s very helpful. Thanks for all your videos over the years. Your personality and content has always been fun.
In my opinion, Samsung is better at this point because of multi tasking , stylus pen and gestures, emulation, foldable innovation no limitations, open OS , high level screen projection and better thermal management , in screen fingerprint scanner etc
So, what’s his bias? Square watch, so iPhone? I have a Samsung galaxy ultra phone, and an iPad Pro. I like them both. I use Apple, Windows, and Samsung interchangeably. I will say right now, however, I do prefer my Samsung that could always change.
Great video man. I'm on Android now (pixel) and mostly used androids (Samsung, motorola) but I've used two iPhones in my life. Great user experience whichever operating system I'm using. At this point, when I'm changing phones, it's really down to which one I get the best deal on.
This year? I'd buy the s24u. Other years, I'd buy the iphone. All about the whole package and what they're offering in any given year. I truly believe they're that close. It's like a game of leapfrog going.
I agree as I carry both myself. For me the iPhone home screen gravity, inconsistent navigation, and the terrible stock keyboard could use some attention. The Samsung color science is wonky everywhere, not just the camera. I've always found it over saturated and over sharpened. BUT for me the worst thing about Samsung is the nearly one for one duplication of all of Googles apps and service which are installed alongside them.
You can delete most of the samsung apps and just use googles. I use some of samsungs apps and mostly google apps. I like samsung internet browser better than chrome. Gpay is better but you can use samsung pay also especially in the browser and you get the best of both. gmail, messages are better on google. I like samsung reminder app because you can have it remind you based on location. (google used to do this) So I use both google tasks and samsung reminder
He is a clear iPhone user !!! My man!!! That’s why I subbed this channel.. and he still checked out the s24 which to have a well rounded and completed comparison was necessary !! 👍🏽
Lifetime iPhone user always felt it was miles better than android!!! Ewwww green bubbles 😂 well this year gave my 14 pro max to the wife got a s24u 13 days in I switched to the 15pro max battery was horrible couldn't justify the price was the same as the 14 just a new button lol so went back to the s24u and can honestly say coming from a iPhone fanboy the s24 smashes the iPhone only thing I miss is I message but everyday get easier and easier to live without it. We will see that the 16 pro max brings but as of now I'm super satisfied it's refreshing to try something different
Thats crazy that you actually convinced yourself to think that Android users are the only ones who write hate comments. Apple users were literally the ones who started that, always talking about how android sucks and apple is superior. Years ago when this whole thing started, it was Apple fans who had the majority of hateful things to comment. Now that years later Androids are finally dominating the smartphone game, they have a right to feel like its their turn to talk shit. I mean Apples been doing it for years so why cant yall let Samsung and Android in general have its time to shine?
Honestly I base it off the comments I’ve seen over the years in my comment section. One side is outweighing the other but I’ll never deny that both sides have toxic members tho😂
Man I couldn't have said it no better. iPhone users called us poor, and some won't date us because we have green bubbles. Look it up a guy went around asking people and their answers will make you lose a few brain cells. I'm not lying😂
@Mob3tta_01 yup. Most of my family has Iphones and it's a mixed bag with all of my friends. Generally speaking, my Android people don't bother anybody about their choice of device. My iPhone people will throw shade at the choice of Android. In social media I've seen friends create whole unprovoked posts bashing Android devices. Never seen it the other way (not saying it doesn't happen, just have not seen it). I think there is a character dynamic where Android users just want to enjoy what they enjoy and in some cases just have no interest in forcing themselves over to iPhones just for some type of social acceptance.
I always go back and forth and between to the two ecosystems. Android is definitely the better system for my use. iPhones are fine, just boring AF but I still give them a try but their OS is a mess imo. Android imo is better position for growth without looking like a disorganized mess of app icons.
Samsung in iPhone uses be hating on each other in the comments i be looking at it a lot I said I love both I got both I don’t get why people act like that you like what you like
I have both. I prefer the S24 ultra because it seems smoother fast scrolling. The 15 PM just does not seem that it has 120hz display, more 90. The only reason why I keep going back to my 15 PM is because of the rounded corners for comfort. I did not think the S24 ultra would have such sharp corners. Samsung should have rounded the corners slightly.
The iPhone 15 range feels so much better in hand compared to the 14. The edges are so much more refined and smooth which was my only bug bear with the 14. Happy with my 15 Pro Max for the next 12 months. Then let’s see where we at
This why I stick with a pixel pro it's like a blend of the smooth ui of ios and Androids freedom and features. Plus 7 years of updates even though I upgrade every year 😂.
I don't know if everybody else is bad at taking video and photos, but your picture and video comparison on the s24 ultra is way better than some others. but it could also just be some software updates.
@@TokyoMkhwanazi Not what? A mess? "A mess" is probably a glib expression. Let's say there are problems. There are acknowledged problems with the cameras, both the current S24 Ultra (which is why I refuse to buy it) and prior models. The prior S23 Ultra, S22 Ultra, etc, all had problems taking pictures of moving objects. I am not sure if it's a shutter lag, but the issue is real. That has been my experience and that of other users. I cannot comment on personal experience withthe S24, but the issues are well documented. It is not clear whether the recent updates addressed these issues. What I find frustrating is the reluctance of tech reviewers to comment on these issues.
I always feel like Samsung is Ubisoft/EA while iPhone is Rockstar. Both great, but there's something to iPhone that makes it more pleasant to use, imo.
S24 Ultra starts at $1149 at Best Buy right now. I know that's not MSRP, but it's less than 2 months old and already we're seeing price cuts. Others have mentioned the Expert RAW mode, would have liked to see that compared to the iPhone ProRes Log mode. I'm coming from 14 years of consistent Samsung Android experience, using the S24U to type this, so here's another biased comment. 😅
I've noticed my S24 Ultra disconnects and reconnects to mobile data connection, especially 5G, consistently throughout the day. I was hoping the latest update would fix it.
I have a note 20 ultra and mine does that all the time - that's why I'm thinking of switching to iPhone!!! I'm always asking people with Samsung " does your data keep switching ". Did you manage to sort it?
As the years will pass, updates will come but months later than more recent galaxy phones. Apple updates on the same day even if you have a 5 year old device
Great video but at 14:17 how can u say the iphone has better skin tones especially on darker skin like mine and yours😅 Especially on the selfie camera the iPhone has that red hue with makes you look sunburnt af😅 Skin tones on the s24 are more true to life and do look closer to what is coming off your professional camera used in the video Now neither are accurate but the s24 is more so although the 15pm does look abit more flattering with the warmer tones in day light from the rear cam but on selfies nah it swings and misses alot.... And been a problem since the 13pm gitten better since then but still is 😊 Especially on coloured skin bro
I’ve said it in the past that the Samsung selfie camera is one of my favorites but your neglecting to mention hot the skin tones changed when e switched to the rear cameras😂 there’s is definitely a lightening taken place. So I’ll give props to the selfie camera as I always have but that’s where it stops as far as skin tones go…but there’s a slight fix
Also you call samsung out which is good but yet say nothing about the 15pm😂 Yes everyone one has bias including you, you use the entire apple eco system as mentioned and u even wearing an apple watch not a big deal but lets call it out as it is iphone is consistent but boring as hell If u want a phone that's great out of the box then go with the 15 If u want a phone that feels like yours and can be pushed far better than the 15pm in near everyway its definitely s24u Know what u are buying before u buy it simple as that Also apple fanboys are the most toxic people online😂 delusional af saying they wont be mad is cap More support and power to you man
Did you watch the entire video? I literally called out the iPhone for the same old grid that we cant customize and lack of dual app multi-tasking...also said their skin tones weren't the best and gave that to the Pixel...also consistent and "boring" is necessarily bad as well as a ton of features isn't always best. It's all about preference and thats the main point of the video...At least I don't hide or disguise my "bias" / preference...and I kept it honest...I like both and use both
@@CJKnowsTECH I did watch the entire video but I was replying as I went on with the video so some of those things you addressed were later in the video ad I understand that🔥😁
@@CJKnowsTECH ofc using expert raw or pro modes can fix the white balancing thereby stabilizing color accuracy (although u said u would do a different video on that) It's inconsistent in color representation but it's more true to life than the iphone
I had a s23 Ultra and moved to iPhone 15PM , boy was I wrong! This phone is nothing close to my s23 Ultra, apart from camera and easy application of screen protector, it struggled to keep up with my requirements. Selling it now and went back to Samsung, opted for s24 Ultra due to flat screen. I hate that I can't do simply tasks like silence phone app keyboard when typing numbers, keyboards are soooo small and can't increase them in size unless I increase Font and display size. Gesture navigations are pathetic in ios, charging speeds aren't that bad but still way below competition, apps used to be stable in 13PM I used before but something about 15PM just funny or glitchy.
Price is significant also. Example.. My S24U was more expensive than my wife's iPhone 15 Pro, But trading in her 13 pro we paid $700 for her 15. (2 year old phone). I traded in my S22 Ultra for the 24 ultra and paid $400 because Samsung offered me more towards my phone. So Apple was not cheaper this time.
I never understood the sides like that. Because to me they are more similar than different now, more than ever. I actually own both S24 U and Iphone 15 pro max. I honestly love both. I do lean a little bit towards the samsung because I've always been a Galaxy fan, but I've been rocking iphone also for a while , I can never have 1 phone, my blue bubble friends wouldn't accept me when I text on my samsung.
I have been on the fence to switching from iphone to android because of the cameras. What I don't like about this video is that he shows all iphone on the right except the 5x telephoto. Suddenly, the Samsung is on the right, because it is the clearly superior image. It is marked below, but if you don't read, you won't notice it.
CJ. I see these tech creators making videos called “ long time iPhone user leaves for the Samsung 24 ultra”. I don’t like those because they weren’t there from the beginning in 2007. I don’t like the lies. Ive been there since the beginning and I don’t say the iPhone is trying to be android, I say it the other way around because it’s the truth. The iPhone in 2007 was ground breaking and ever since then, they’ve been the biggest target in tech. Hands down bruh.
I have an S24 Ultra and a 13 Pro Max (for the Sim card tray) and I use them both everyday. I prefer Samsung but not by that wide a margin. I think the iPhone is a perfect cell phone, but the Galaxy has the extra stuff like Dex and reverse wireless charging. But nothing anyone really needs. But yeah phones are so good now it doesn't matter which one you use haha people are crazy for getting mad
I have the s23 ultra and the iPhone 15 pro plus the watch 6 classic and the ultra 2 watches. I love them both. I wear my ultra 2 watch when I carry my s23 and my watch 6 when I carry my iPhone. Cameras aren't as important to me. I make my decision based on how long I'm gonna be away from the house. My iPhone battery is better.
I'm with you my guy all the way until you get to multi tasking, I use it quite a bit and rn I'm on a tiny s10e, I use two apps at the same time when I want to copy some text down that I can't select in an app, like if someone sends me a photo of their WiFi password I can split screen that photo with my WiFi settings panel, or watch a live stream I'm kind of into while messaging friends on social media at the same time, it's really important for some of us, useful for work too
If you are a person that upgrades every new phone season it really doesnt matter which OS or phone you go with. Majority of people on budgets Apple matters. Anyone here using their samsung as their MAIN driver for 4 years or more??? I can afford a new Iphone every year but sticking with my iphone 13 pro max cause it works like its brand new
You know I've been fighting going over to the iOS side I don't know why but I keep looking on the other side being an Android fanboy Right now I have the s23 ultra and I love it but I don't really customize my phone Just lock screen and my home screen with wallpaper that's it and my ringtones and all that but that's it man I don't customize and I don't multitask but it's nice to have I just like having all the features but I really do want to try an Apple I'm just scared like what everybody else says that you get over to Apple and then you want to go back I don't want that but how am I supposed to know unless I try it u know
Man u have almost the same skin tone as mine , I don't care how others look on those phones and guess what I'm picking one from this video , thanks alot
I believe most people communicate using Whatsapp. The neutral communication app. So iPhone, Samsung etc. Its really what you prefer. Like your computer, Windows or Mac. We all use Google Search and or Chrome at some point.
iphone 15pro max is just boss. I have both devices along with buds and watches for each. I enjoyed samsung's bells and whistles for about 2weeks and then i was back to iOS. For my day to day its a better flow. Also app support for Apple Watch (for the apps i rely on) is much better than Google wear samsung watch.
It's clear that you'll ride for Apple at the end of the day. I can't do iOS. Too boring and dumbed-down. Not enough settings, not enough features, not enough options.
you made me laugh when imitated haters :)). I have both phones. iPhone have more consistent camera, capability, IOS security is better, air tag is working better than samsung tag 2, I mean accuracy and time location update, speakers are better, unlock face is better than fingerprint of s24 ultra, lidar scan could be very useful to scan and save in 3D files for my work, but I like more samsung design than design of the iPhone, zoom camera s24 ultra seems better, video and photo in zoom only , s-pen can make a real difference for me when I take notes and dimensions on a photo at work (I work like drafter), and seems a little bit snappier than iPhone, dex samsung is very interesting experience, you care a mini computer in your pocket , but overall a prefer iPhone 15 pro max, I change between them every 2-3 weeks or so...

Team Samsung, rocking a Z Fold 5 but prefer S24 Ultra over iPhone 15 Pro Max although I haven't used either phone 😂

Team s24 ultra
Stop talking and switch!
@@walterdbrownVerizon gives you 30 days, but you have to pay $50 restock fee
I have an android and my family has iphones. The BIGGEST complaint for me is losing iMessenger and having to go with regular text. My videos don't transfer over well, etc. My husband and I use WhatsApp at this point. So if you communicate a lot, that'll be annoying. Everything else IMHO cause i'm a google user is way better on Android.
now go with s24U and its not boring like i15pm
The Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra is equipped with an Expert RAW feature, which allows users to capture raw footage for greater control over the editing process.
LG v30 had that in 2017
@robertfan332 Samsung has had it for a while too. But with the quality of the camera and sensor on thr s24, you can really take advantage of it and loaf the raw image file into photoshop and do much more
The iphone proraw is waaay top tier.
So does the iPhone
I have both and i prefer the freedom of android. Apple is too controlling.
Use shortcuts for scheduled messages on iPhone.
@@afroditta6950 Why not be built in? There's always steps and hoops just to do something with Apple.
@@jraheemjefcoat429 I agree, I was just pointing an easy workaround.
This dude worked so hard to make the iPhone look at the same level as the S24U, omitting so many things the Galaxy can do the iPhone can just dream about, it's hilarious
iPhone can do the same thing thing a device can do …..the others it’s can’t cause it’s not a s24
iPhone is still better
One thing I think really shows it is saying the Reflective Screen has been very controversial. I haven't heard one negative review. It's all been incredibly supportive
I have both, and Samsung is just a joke
Sell your S24U as quick as you can
Yeah all they do is compare cameras. How about real world uses like checking email, using maps, notes, and multitasking, copy/paste, change settings in an app etc... you will see the true power and ease of Android.
If you could only have one device, the S24 Ultra is better hands down. It can do way more and the screen much better.
Your preference I think iPhone is better
Biased, who me? No way! Not so long ago, I preferred Samsung b/c of the innovation (IR blaster, S Pen, Wireless/Reverse Wireless charging, AOD, etc.). Now that Samsung is on the incremental upgrade cycle, I have to agree that most people are just kinda set in their ways, and yes, although I hate to admit it, biased. 🤔
Right😂
How can I get your themes/customisation on your phone? I think you have to make a video for it, even if it's a paid version.@@CJKnowsTECH
I luv it
Apple are superb ....at brainwashing ppl they are innovators 😂

You should compare prores on apple vs pro mode on s24. Using stock camera on s24 vs prores on apple is not technically a fair comparison.
I know exactly what you’re experiencing…respect
I switched from the 15 pro max to the s24 ultra miss face lD but l like the way you can make your phone your own love the split screen something iOS doesn’t have unfortunately
Yep trust me I switched from ios in 2019 and I never went back Samsung is incredible
I'm glad you all tried it I can't get my cousin or daughter to even try a Samsung that have a super biased that you are less because you use an android. Sad to say I at least tried iPhone but Samsung is better. But they haven't used Samsung since 2012 it's a different ball game in 2024
@@Mob3tta_01so youre using s24 ultra?
Great stuff. I think you missed the opportunity to tune your S24 Ultra's Pro Mode to compete with the iPhone 15PM's ProRes considering the fact that you could have done justifiably. You missed it and like you stipulated, that's the area where the root-honed bias took center-stage. Regardless, my skin tone as a dark skinned person is preferably better on S24U particularly with photos, and good with videos one the 15PM.
but how is that "fair" if I'm not using a pro camera mode on the iPhone to tweak it's results which I could have done that as well...right? Soon as I get my ND Filter Case for the S24 Ultra I'll take it and the iPhone along with it's ND Filters and put the best of both up against one another...then there will be no more debate
this! it irritated me so bad that he didn't justify the s24 ultra pro video against the 15 pro max.
I have both devices, my 24u consistently outperforms my iPhone in speed tests on my network. If its not your network, its a faulty 24u.
The S24 doesn't support wifi 7, why are you lying?

I went from Android to Apple for 3 years, and then back to Android. I agree that there's some consistency with 🍎 but I did not enjoy the experience myself. I just prefer the android experience. But during those years with apple I made sure not to buy any iPods or 🍎 ⌚. 😂 I didn't want to commit to anything, if I wasn't fully enjoying the experience.
😂😂😂 you avoided the “trap”
Yep, but I'm really enjoying my S23 I picked up on black Friday.
Exactly. Why I use both as well and benchmarks do not represent user experience for sure. Respect
On everyday use Samsung can be faster than iphone so geek bench is bs if you ask me. Its more about how they handle on a day to day basis
My goodness, so even Geekbench is lying in favor of the iphone?
The S24 Ultra has S-pen Ai and a way better screen. That dynamic suppository on the iphone belongs up a cows butt not on a high end smart phone. I love my S24 ultra.
The dynamic island is handy actually, but Samsung took the bag this year for sure.
Ye nearly switched to apple, but im so stuck in the android and Windows/Microsoft eco system. Made it hard to switch, ended up getting a s24ultra, and im super happy with it.
😂 but that's how it be...once you plant roots in one or the other it's hard to get out
@CJKnowsTECH lol bro, don't get me started, I do photography, and i thought about making a full switch and I've seen the work flow for that stuff seems to be more seamless but hey lol day to day I love da android so there's always a compromise which ever eco system you go for

Android is better than Ios as of right now.
Question is are you on a flagship android or??

I love this video. It is indeed, based on the individuals preferences and biases. This video deserves more than a million views.
This is worthless to compare nowadays unless you compare the camera and maybe battery life. 😂. There's nothing Apple can do to get me back. 😂
You said it all Iphone video and creation that is all.
yeah if you use widgets and folder shortcuts and everything on android you can do stuff so much quicker. Which I like. I don't do video editing and stuff like that but more documents, spreadsheets, browser, email and it is so much easier.
I have both. Had a Galaxy since the S6 edge. The iPhone 15PM is the bees knees and I say that while having the S24U as a backup
I don’t know if it’s just me but my iPhone battery is dropping more faster with the new iOS 😅idk what consistency you talking bout
Unbiased, truth and brutally honest. All the hallmark words of a tech RUclipsr .
Unbiased? Gtfoh
17:10 yup, thanks to the one you did for S23 ultra, love my photos now.
Hi CJ great review as always question where can I get your icons pack from?
Watch this➡️ ruclips.net/video/ZAKc0KNVxT8/видео.html
Right
Thanks I appreciate that
In my opinion, Samsung is better at this point because of multi tasking , stylus pen and gestures, emulation, foldable innovation no limitations, open OS , high level screen projection and better thermal management , in screen fingerprint scanner etc
So, what’s his bias? Square watch, so iPhone? I have a Samsung galaxy ultra phone, and an iPad Pro. I like them both. I use Apple, Windows, and Samsung interchangeably. I will say right now, however, I do prefer my Samsung that could always change.
I use both also but my preference leans more towards apple products
I love both but I like the s24 ultra more Samsung my favorite phone have both
Great video man.
@@CJKnowsTECH well that definitely makes a lot more sense if we’re basing it off of your comment section exclusively.
Just brought 15 pro max but still got an s23 ultra
Great video.... I think you are the among the few Techtubers who keeps it real.... You say things as they are, no sugarcoating
Respect!
I always go back and forth and between to the two ecosystems. Android is definitely the better system for my use. iPhones are fine, just boring AF but I still give them a try but their OS is a mess imo. Android imo is better position for growth without looking like a disorganized mess of app icons.
Samsung in iPhone uses be hating on each other in the comments i be looking at it a lot I said I love both I got both I don’t get why people act like that you like what you like
Right
I have both. Samsung should have rounded the corners slightly.
watched a million videos on these phones and yours finally convinced me to make my decision, new subscriber
great video my dude, both phones look and feel lovely. I currently own the s24 Ultra and upgraded from the Note 20 Ultra
The iPhone 15 range feels so much better in hand compared to the 14. The edges are so much more refined and smooth which was my only bug bear with the 14. Happy with my 15 Pro Max for the next 12 months. Then let’s see where we at
It was great design refinement that improved handheld comfort for sure
You know of an invention called Phone Case, right?
Facts @@innnews6299
This why I stick with a pixel pro it's like a blend of the smooth ui of ios and Androids freedom and features. Plus 7 years of updates even though I upgrade every year 😂.
I don't know if everybody else is bad at taking video and photos, but your picture and video comparison on the s24 ultra is way better than some others. but it could also just be some software updates.
Gotta be a boss to have both phones..im using s23U and tab S+
I would definitely be using a Samsung if their cameras weren't such a mess presently: great potential, poor execution.
They are not
@@TokyoMkhwanazi Not what?
@@DrewL-mf7fsPlus screen issues, Battery issues and a slew of other problems. Tbh the s24 launch has been a hot mess especially with QC.
The s24 launched with lots of bugs and somehow no one seemed to notice.
Never mine
I have a note 20 ultra and mine does that all the time - that's why I'm thinking of switching to iPhone!!! I'm always asking people with Samsung " does your data keep switching ".
Did you manage to sort it?
@@pritzc3427 the only thing that seems to stop it is turning off 5G.
@@pritzc3427 I've actually heard internet issues with iPhones and not so much Samsung's.
My fiancé is having that problem with his fold 5!
High yella CJ 😂😂😂🤣🤣🤣. Im the same complexion brotha I feel you, Aint nobody tryna look high yella for no reason 😄
😂😂
for long term i choose iphone 15 promax even its 5 or 7 years old phone it will still smooth
Didn’t Sammy update to 5-7 years for the 24? Lol
@@treblemix_sammy updates are not reliable 5 to 7 years the phone more laggy and bugs
As the years will pass, updates will come but months later than more recent galaxy phones. Apple updates on the same day even if you have a 5 year old device
Great video but at 14:17 how can u say the iphone has better skin tones especially on darker skin like mine and yours😅
Especially on the selfie camera the iPhone has that red hue with makes you look sunburnt af😅
Skin tones on the s24 are more true to life and do look closer to what is coming off your professional camera used in the video
Now neither are accurate but the s24 is more so although the 15pm does look abit more flattering with the warmer tones in day light from the rear cam but on selfies nah it swings and misses alot.... And been a problem since the 13pm gitten better since then but still is 😊
Especially on coloured skin bro
I’ve said it in the past that the Samsung selfie camera is one of my favorites but your neglecting to mention hot the skin tones changed when e switched to the rear cameras😂 there’s is definitely a lightening taken place. So I’ll give props to the selfie camera as I always have but that’s where it stops as far as skin tones go…but there’s a slight fix
Also you call samsung out which is good but yet say nothing about the 15pm😂
Yes everyone one has bias including you, you use the entire apple eco system as mentioned and u even wearing an apple watch not a big deal but lets call it out as it is iphone is consistent but boring as hell
If u want a phone that's great out of the box then go with the 15
If u want a phone that feels like yours and can be pushed far better than the 15pm in near everyway its definitely s24u
Know what u are buying before u buy it simple as that
Also apple fanboys are the most toxic people online😂 delusional af saying they wont be mad is cap
More support and power to you man
Did you watch the entire video? I literally called out the iPhone for the same old grid that we cant customize and lack of dual app multi-tasking...also said their skin tones weren't the best and gave that to the Pixel...also consistent and "boring" is necessarily bad as well as a ton of features isn't always best. It's all about preference and thats the main point of the video...At least I don't hide or disguise my "bias" / preference...and I kept it honest...I like both and use both
@@CJKnowsTECH I did watch the entire video but I was replying as I went on with the video so some of those things you addressed were later in the video ad I understand that🔥😁
@@CJKnowsTECH ofc using expert raw or pro modes can fix the white balancing thereby stabilizing color accuracy (although u said u would do a different video on that)
It's inconsistent in color representation but it's more true to life than the iphone
I hate that I can't do simply tasks like silence phone app keyboard when typing numbers, keyboards are soooo small and can't increase them in size unless I increase
Font and display size. Gesture navigations are pathetic in ios, charging speeds aren't that bad but still way below competition, apps used to be stable in 13PM I used before but something about 15PM just funny or glitchy.
No Samsung can quick share to iPhones and any phone now. Samsung updated it with the s24
Iphone 15 Peo Max is the phone I never knew I needed until today!!!!!
😅
Great video, and the best part is the you picked your preference unlike some many others that are afraid to.
Thanks yeah I’d rather just be transparent
Price is significant also. Example.. My S24U was more expensive than my wife's iPhone 15 Pro, But trading in her 13 pro we paid $700 for her 15. (2 year old phone). I traded in my S22 Ultra for the 24 ultra and paid $400 because Samsung offered me more towards my phone. So Apple was not cheaper this time.
Iphone make people look too red so i don't get whats so better about iPhone
I’m taking back my iPhone 15 Pro Max today and getting a Samsung. It’s lit.
I'm with you my guy all the way until you get to multi tasking, I use it quite a bit and rn I'm on a tiny s10e, I use two apps at the same time when I want to copy some text down that I can't select in an app, like if someone sends me a photo of their WiFi password I can split screen that photo with my WiFi settings panel, or watch a live stream I'm kind of into while messaging friends on social media at the same time, it's really important for some of us, useful for work too
I love the features of Samsung 24U, but being in the US, the iMessage is the only thing keeping me back with the iphone.
I just don't get the hype of iMessage and I used the iPhone before. Once they adapt rcs won't matter anymore
If you are a person that upgrades every new phone season it really doesnt matter which OS or phone you go with. Majority of people on budgets Apple matters. Anyone here using their samsung as their MAIN driver for 4 years or more??? I can afford a new Iphone every year but sticking with my iphone 13 pro max cause it works like its brand new
Love your content and honest opinion. At the end of the day it’s personal preference. #teamiphone
Thanks I appreciate you...yup
The S24 Ultra uses the best in class X75 qualcomm modem. The iPhone 15 pro uses the old X70 modem.
That’s why I will always have an iPhone. Those bells and whistles wear off pretty fast on Android. I don’t use none of that stuff.
It's clear that you'll ride for Apple at the end of the day. I can't do iOS. Too boring and dumbed-down. Not enough settings, not enough features, not enough options.
At least I’m upfront about it. But I also have a serious respect for Android specifically Pixel and Samsung
Always love when Marty do phone reviews. What a crack-a-lackin
you made me laugh when imitated haters :)). I have both phones. iPhone have more consistent camera, capability, IOS security is better, air tag is working better than samsung tag 2, I mean accuracy and time location update, speakers are better, unlock face is better than fingerprint of s24 ultra, lidar scan could be very useful to scan and save in 3D files for my work, but I like more samsung design than design of the iPhone, zoom camera s24 ultra seems better, video and photo in zoom only , s-pen can make a real difference for me when I take notes and dimensions on a photo at work (I work like drafter), and seems a little bit snappier than iPhone, dex samsung is very interesting experience, you care a mini computer in your pocket , but overall a prefer iPhone 15 pro max, I change between them every 2-3 weeks or so...
meeeh you just isheep, almost every other reviewer said s24u screen is better, ther is no bias right there, you just isheep thats it
And when I did I say the screen wasn't😂 literally said there's no difference but OK
Everyone should subscribe to this guy his is the REAL DEAL. ❤really love the way you think about technology 🤙👊👊⚡️⚡️⚡️ you are the MAN 💥💥
